Default GCAM working fine but lacks the details Other GCAM lagging, there is no battery status icon of connected bluetooth device in status bar, other than that awesome rom it's problem in almost ppui a13 based rom I guess.

ROM Kernel: Linux 4.x
ROM Firmware Required: 16.2017.1906.056
Based On: LineageOS
Version Information
Status: No Longer Updated
Stable Release Date: 2019-08-14
Beta Release Date: 2019-08-04

Last Updated 2019-08-20
Notes
WARNING: Latest firmware is now required and enforced starting from 20190214 build. Make sure you flash firmware once BEFORE the ROM or you'll get error while flashing. You can find the latest firmware on my webserver, the OSDN or AndroidFileHost.
Firmware requirements:
20190804 and newer: Pie 16.2017.1906.056
20190526 until 20190712: Pie 16.2017.1905.053
20190505 until 20190513: Pie 16.2017.1903.050
20190312: Pie beta 16.2017.1902.037
20190214 until 20190223: Oreo 15.2016.1901.339
NXP TFA98xx amplifier support won't be fixed until I find a working OSS variant for it.
Don't ask me to ship prebuilt audio blobs together with prebuilt audio amplifier from TheRagingBeast, since it's a pretty bad idea to use prebuilt audio HALs. If you want it that bad, use custom kernel that has the required commits and flash the amplifier zip (please find it elsewhere and don't share it here, sorry).

Sorry man,I forgot to say if "ROM supports screen stabilization", or maybe later on Xenon HD you will enter the feature
@krasCGQ feeling very good to see a developer like u is working for this device.
Your ROM is smooth!
BTW, if u don't mind, can u kindly port the MIUI10 ROM for our device?
Or, any custom skinned OS.
As, we are bored with the stock Android looks.
(There's a stable miui10 port already by Sagar Makhar, with the SOT of 8hrs~9hrs approx!)
But, we need updates!

Ok.
Is there any custom ROM available , which has something different in looks ,specially the status bar.
(I really become irritated whenever i see the AOSP status bar, this is so much ugly! yaak)

There's no rom with such kind of feature... U can always try substratum... it's really good for customisation..

Of all the pie roms i have used...this is best one as i am getting more than 10hrs of SOT..So kudos to developer for that...but it will be more awesome if it gets basic custom rom features like...long press power for torch, staus bar modifications.
And theming is also not working...acsent colour ,dark theme or black theme doesn't seem to work...i do understand it's experimental but it will be really nice to have these goodies

As I remember:
1. Long press power for torch is exist and working.
2. As I said in OP, it's still on development.
3. If it doesn't work on LineageOS, it doesn't either on XenonHD.

thank you very much and always excited!
I installed cpu Spy because of drain. Mine is not entering deep sleep mode. Can someone check on his/her phone if that is normal for this rom? Thnx
Edit: seems like enabling Bluetooth is enough to loose the deep sleep. Is that normal? My Poco F1 is using deep sleep when BT is on. Anything to do with different (better) hardware of the Poco F1. Or rom related
download it now ... i really like clean rom. will try it
review : rom is so smooth and i didnt get any bug except one for now
when i listen music, there is crackling sound from my headset. Please fix it dev
Dear dev, i hope u can continue maintain this rom, so smooth ( i combine with TRB kernel ), maybe u can consider to add accent color in the next update . . . Thx dev

is there any chance I can dirty flash this ROM over your PR10
(if not please suggest best way to migrate my app data with least pain)

Best to clean flash when jumping to newer Android version. So that no weird bugs from old OS will occur on new build. I suggest you try Migrate to move from PR10 to PR11, tho I have not tried it myself.

I guess you'd have to do it manually if you don't want to root your phone after flashing PR11, I'm not sure of any ways to migrate between custom roms easily without the help of Root Access
Auto call recording?
Crazy smooth, such great work OP!
Edit: using latest Stardust, perfect.

LineageOS is based on AOSP with contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. If needed you can install any GApps package available for R.
LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
The source code for LineageOS is available at Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to Lineage OS, please visit Gerrit Code Review. LineageOS changelog is whatever was merged into Gerrit.
Instructions:
make a FULL backup first from your actual system.
before installing make sure you are running the latest stock Oreo from the latest HTC Sense.
install as recovery the latest TWRP recovery 3.5.0_9-0 ( thanks @Captain_Throwback )
if you are encrypted, - coming from stock Oreo - take a full backup of all your data, boot into TWRP and format data (the option which requires you to type "yes") and clean flash accordingly.
This is due to encryption changes. Do not skip this step or you will be locked out of your system by a password prompt.
after format /data you must reboot to recovery to be able to copy needed files to flash on /sdcard
download the latest ROM zip and GApps (optional - if needed) from the downloads section below
wipe system, cache, and data if coming from another AOSP based rom
flash ROM zip in TWRP, add install more zip's and flash also GApps (optional), thus you get best integration of vanilla LOS with GApps;
reboot to system and make initial settings & configurations; also check and configure your apps permissions;
Note: don't enable option Lineage recovery during setup as you will lose TWRP (overwrite by LOS Recovery app) and you need to reinstall it again!
optional: flash the latest Magisk and reboot to system to setup Magisk app [wait for it to load]
Enjoy latest LOS 18.1 [Android 11] on your HTC 10.

December 2020 Security patch
Initial beta release LOS 18.1 for HTC U10
reserved
Why is it 18.1 and not 18.0?
Click to collapse
Because Google still makes big "Feature updates" for new Android versions, but they don't bump up the minor version number anymore (basically, back when they were doing that, the Android 11 release this december would have been "Android 11.1").
However, since those big updates require a rebase on our side, we have decided to continue bumping the minor version number whenever that happens.

So... comming from LOS 18.0 would a dirty update be possible? Probably not recommended right...
Edit: Ends in Bootloop. so no ^^

clean install is highly recommended, also do unistall magisk (if installed) and flash new build, do an initial setup and then install latest magisk and rest of apps + final configs.
any 3rd party apps recommended for dialer to actually end a call or use speakers ?

i use the LOS 18.1 stock dialer and have no problem with making/ ending calls (with or w/o speakers or head set jack). you can try google one if you use gapps. i recomend NikGapps basic (what i use)
you should also check your settings phone (like APN) and even test cell connectivity by dial *#*#4636#*#* to enter test menu
also verify that you have all permission granted as required for dialer/ phone app as in Android 11 / LOS 18.1 these are not auto granted and some you have to grant from settings
mhmm i'm using the com.google.android.dialer v.59.0.351693235 which came preinstalled. Used the Nik Gapps BASIC edition.
Permissions are all given and "Phone App" is set to yes.
Yet whenever i start a call in the dialer there is no menu for the phone call.
same thing when someone is trying to call me, it just remains invisible.
Strange thing is when i force stop the app during a phone call the call continues...
Edit: Ahhh i gess the set "Default Phone app" to Yes and reboot was the issue! Works now.
Nice build, especially like the camera app and the smoothness of the OS so far. Well done
thanks for sharing. this is very good.

It's up to Lineage team to bring it up. Once they do it will be in again.
Hi raul16,
just wanted to mention that I successfully installed your 18.1 version on my pme device, following your installation instructions, this was kind of flawless, thanks a lot!
Regards, mistersixt.
Thank you, @raul16! 18.1-20210115 seems very good so far (installed only a day ago, so not yet tested thoroughly). Installation went smoothly: updated TWRP to 3.5.0_9, clean-flashed, added NikGapps Basic, and successfully restored a SeedVault backup from the LOS 18.0 (not your version) that I had on the device before.
I was interested to see that you say to reboot after flashing the ROM, do basic config, then go back to recovery and install a gapps package if required. LOS installation instructions have always emphasised that gapps must be flashed before first reboot after flashing the custom ROM. Has something changed? Can gapps be installed at any later stage now?
@raul16 is it just me, or there is a huge problem with localization in this build? It doesnt work in my htc

works here. can be tested with GPS Status & Toolbox app.
update available: lineage-18.1-20210209-UNOFFICIAL-pme.zip
for links & changelog see posts #1 & #2; update via recovery;
important notice for update from previous version:
if Magisk is installed first must uninstall Magisk and after uninstall flash the rom update !
no need to uninstall NikGapps; after flash update boot to system to complete the upgrade;
as this update upgrade Android 11 to r29 first boot will take longer. once booted successfully and Android completes upgrading can reinstall Magisk via recovery (and modules used).
Enjoy !
Nice work! Just curious, how many hours SOT are u getting on this?

SCREENSHOTS FROM INITIAL BUILD
Found one bug.Mobile data is on but the mobile data switch stays off.I don't know if 'phone on vibrate-icon missing' is a bug or not.
ROM performance is excellent, I'm using it for 1 day. The only problem is just the charging speed.
In 7 hours and 35 minutes, it only charged 73%.

Please use recommended TWRP in #2 post.. TWRP by Pranav sir..
And then inform, if it still happening..
Enjoy..
Been Using for 3 hrs... performance is better/smoother than any a12 build out there. Charging speeds are bit on the lower side.
Bugs I found -
1. PC File transfer doesn't work (works when in recovery though)
2. Pixel sounds app doesn't open at all (so we can't change ringtones or notification tunes - although sounds app worked before updating to the latest version)
3. DPI is set too low causing the display size to be bigger (Currently set at 360 DPI, if set to 395 to 405 it looks good)
4. Some QS tiles aren't working - Battery Saver, Mobile Data etc.,
5. Three finger screenshot is completely missing
6. Ok Google/ Hey Google hot word for triggering assistant isn't working

I installed TWRP and tested it for a few hours, the speed is still pretty slow. The maximum is only 2,6 watts.

Bro check your cable...probably it's the culprit, I agree the charging speed is bit slow compared to other roms but not that low. I used a regular data cable to charge the speed was slow and then I used a 3.0 amp charging cable, that helped a lot charged 30% in around an hour

When I'm using my phone while it's charging, the percentage went down

I just tested it with another cable, it was a little better, but it's still slow. It always starts at high speed 6/5 watts and then gets 2.5 watts maximum.
In Pixel Reloaded 11 the same thing happened. I used the Project Infinity 4.4 kernel to solve this problem.

Yes it's slow, may be op should update/tweak the thermal and battery settings in kernel. You can't use custom kernels as the rom is based on 4.19 kernel. There aren't many custom kernels based 4.19 which makes it difficult to fix the issue
Hey guys, I think you can try Knight Walker kernel. I am one of the testers on this project. The charging speed can go up to 2A.

I haven't tested the default kernel yet. Maybe I will test in this weekend.
But I think you can provide the battery temperature while charging. That will be easier for developer to debug.
I'm not facing very low charging speed.. But as all of you are getting very slow speed, then you can try knight walker kernel.. I have tested my ROM with that kernel, working fine no issue..
Problem is, how can I fix this issue?? Look at my charging speed.. It's working as it should be.. I don't want heating while charging bcz it is not good for battery health.. So I like this 1.5amp speed..
I hope, we will find some hack for this.. Before that enjoy the smoothness of Android 12..

I'll see if I can find some magisk module to solve, if it works I'll look at the script and send it here.

Charging speed should be same as stock rom or atleast near about.Btw i am glad that there is no heating issue in a12 as it was in a11.my battery temp used to go at 46°c even while using chrome.
Btw sir is the mobile data switch a known issue to u?
Usb tethering is also dead for me
I do a quick test. Charging speed can go up to 1.7A in the default kernel. Temperature is also around 40°C.
I think there is no charging problem.
I think I found the problem after several tests, the CHARGER_TEMP_MAX is a little low.
With a ACC magisk module in Termux, find that the charging speed is related to that CHARGER_TEMP and not the battery temperature.
With 840 it charges at 6 watts (1200mA), (cold smartphone at 24°C rainy weather).
With 906 it charges at 2 watts (400mA), (hot smartphone at 41°C ambient temperature).
To view the CHARGER_TEMP and CHARGER_TEMP_MAX in Termux
Bash:
cat /sys/class/power_supply/battery/charger_temp #only works if charging
Bash:
cat /sys/class/power_supply/battery/charger_temp_max
I cooled my smartphone and it charged normally, and the speed was in relation to CHARGER_TEMP. The ambient temperature where I live is 41°C. (maybe that's why not the same speed as yours)
