Does anyone know if it is possible to flash USA U1 stable one UI 5.0 to Canadian F936W model?
If it's possible can you please confirm which version of patched Odin I should use and if Samsung pay or wallet works fine after that ?
Does it void warranty?
Not your region. I wouldn't, bet case the flash fails, worst case you end up with a brick...
These little toys cost too much to experiment with like that...

Hey guys,
I would like to buy the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 model as it suits me more than the latest model, I also want to install this custom firmware once I buy the device http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s/development/prerooted-stock-touchwiz-rom-t2973107
How ever upon further investigation it seems like Australian stock of the Tab S 10.5 are in fact this 'T805Y' model. So basically im wondering if the custom firmware above is compatible with the Australian T805Y model?
Should be fine as long as you update the firmware to the official stock so you are on the same base.
Just be aware you will likely be voiding your warranty unless you go the kingroot method.
Hello guys i got a galaxy a3 2017 today but i want to ask if it is possible to flash a official rom from A320F on a A320FL model and what is the deffrince between does models?
Good question.
I want to know too, if I flash the Nougat rom (A320F) on my A320FL, will it work?
If it does, does it void the warranty, and prohibid the use of Knox apps like Secure Folder?

Switching models will Trip KNOX!
You can't switch from models Odin won't let you do that, even if it's the Official Samsung Firmware
Only by Unlocking OEM Odin will let you (Cross)Flash the Official Frimware, and yes tripping KNOX!
No more Secure Folder & Samsung Pay
I don't have my phone rooted and I'd like to upgrade it to 5.0.0 lollipop. I see Samsung only put out the update to other countries and not the US, how nice of them.
Would I even notice a difference using it or would putting the Aussie version of lollipop on my US t-mobile phone be a no no?
Thank you
You cannot flash an Australian stock LP ROM to the USA T-Mobile phone via Odin.
There is a T-MOBILE Australian lollipop upgrade on Samsungs website for the m919. For verification, It won't work on my m919? Would u mind to help me understand why?
Thank you
The bootloader in the rom will be compared to the hardware being flashed. If it's a match, it will flash but not necessarily function properly.
If the Australian m919 is the same as the hardware as the USA variant, it will probably flash but I don't know if it will work n properly.
Ok thank you for the explanation
Why don't you install Lineage which will put you into >7.0

Awful quiet around here guess everyone bought the tab s6!
I noticed an update available this August 2019. Has anyone flashed their tab s4 with Odin? And then rooted once again? I'm using a t835n and plan to get the t835 international version. But I want to be sure I can root after.
Another question - on sammobile they have so many different country options for the t835 international model. What is the actual difference? I use my device in USA so what would be the best version to flash so that I have the most bands for my carrier (TMobile). Or does flashing firmware not have the effect I am thinking on bands?
Thanks!

That's a very good question.
Are you on Oreo or Pie?
My guess, based on the rooting guides I've been reading is the one for the country that you bought the device from. I think you are on the Korean version, so I would think that would be the ideal update to use on the device and then just use it in English.
As for the S6, I'm inclined to buy another (3rd) S4 because the lack of the headphone jack is intolerable for me.
I will ask in the Note 9 forum, but do you happen to know the international version of the Note 9 that is the equivalent of the Korean 6GB Tab S4? They dropped the headphone jack on that one too. I use it to get radio on my phone.
So I rooted the Korean 6GB versions that was factory shipped with the most recent and up to date Oreo firmware and it rooted just fine. I'm missing a few apps but I'm not sure why that is (weird like missing email, internet, calculator, some google crap...). I'm trying to figure out why, but I NEVER let it connect to the internet for any reason yet. I sideloaded some of the apps and it seems fine. I'm going to check with my other Tab S4 6GB that is on the original stock firmware from the beginning to see if those apps were ever there in the first place tonight and post in the TWRP thread.
Root is fine. So I think you will be fine with the most recent firmware for Oreo. I suggest getting the Korean (region specific) firmware for your specific device.
https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-tab-s4/firmware/SM-T835N/KOO/
It took me a little googling but it did turn up. Sammobile site didn't fine it for me, I had to google to get it, even thought it was still the samobile site where I found it. I didn't download any successfully yet.
i've been trying to buy a s9 locally but most of it are really sketchy or have a cracked display. so i checked ebay for one and a Korean seller is selling a SM-G960N for 280$. its the same price locally but i says its a really good condition one. the questions i have are,
1. Korean version seems to have a lot of bloatware but i can hopefully root or use cmd to remove them. i want to know if that's possible?
2. found of google that korean version phones don't have Lte or cant use it a country besides Korean that's what i read at least. is that real? it seams weird if it is.
3.could i re flash a international version firmware to it so that samsung pay will work?
that's all the questions i have hope they get answered soon.
thanks!!

You can flash G965F rom on G965N by using TWRP recovery. I changed my phone to S10 5G recently so i do not have One UI 2.5 for S9+. With One UI 2.1, you can try it https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=8889791610682934101
