Flashing Instructions:
With PixelOS Recovery:
1 - Reboot your phone to fastboot mode
2 - On fastboot, flash the recovery & dtbo using

3 - Reboot to recovery using fastboot reboot, then hold Power + Vol Up
4 - Put ROM package into your platform-tools folder
5 - On recovery, go to Factory reset, select Wipe data/factory reset & confirm
6 - Go to Apply Update > Apply from ADB to get into ADB sideload & flash the ROM package using

7 (EXTRA, not required if you already have the required firmware on your phone) - Use the same ADB sideload method above to flash the FW (required in the Notes or Post or on XDA)
8 - Reboot & enjoy
Alternate way:
1 - Make sure to have ROM package in ur phone
2 - Boot to TWRP
3 - Wipe Data, Cache, Metadata & Dalvik
4 - Flash the FW (required in the Notes or Post or on XDA, if you already have the required firmware on your phone then no need), then flash the ROM (if you want to keep the custom recovery, tick the reflash TWRP/OFOX option before flashing, else you will NOT BE ABLE TO go into other custom recovery in anyway)
5 - Reboot recovery, Format Data, then Reboot & enjoy
To update (please carefully read what steps to do):
+ PixelOS recovery: Reboot to recovery, then do step 4, 6, 7 (if there is a new fw update) then 8.
+ Alternate way: Do step 2 & 4, wipe Dalvik (recommended) then reboot

As what I check, the maximum charging watt here is 45W
Battery life is fairly good
And Haptics is still there, but I didn't update the latest QTI effects configuration. They will be imported in the next update

You get around 540000 in this rom while on stock it is around 700000.
I understand that this is a hobby for you guys and we not entitled to get anything, I am just stating maybe this is not a rom for gamers.
Waited for this ROM to unlock my POCO F4 because of Pixel Rom on my mothers Note 10 pro was perfect. Every things working and stable on POCO f4 for now. Battery drain is high though. Without AOD it is little better but i want to use AOD.
Is there anyway this gets the kind of battery Mi 11x got? I mean I dont mind a hit to performance either.

In latest Run got 3hrs SOT with AOD off, will attach the screenshots.
Also, tested charging speed, drained it totally so it died and powered ON itself, Not sure if it fast charged while it is dead but in around 30 min it charged 60% and total charging time is around 1hr 10min but overall it is fast enough that I did not feel like i needed faster charging. But GSMArena got 100% in 38min so not 65W charging.
Also, video recording not working in the GCam at 1080p and 4k at both 30 and 60fps It used to work in MIUI though.
QR scanner in lock screen is fine(would prefer camera since there is no decent camera shortcut since this phone power button is fingerprint sensor) but in AOD that icon has too much white color which is distracting.
Another question, Does the display's color accurate profile get ported or not because right now I am using adaptive color profile and rest are all saturated to my eyes.
Dolby vision aside HDR 10+ support is also not present for now in Netflix, only HDR 10.

1 - There was an issue related to deep sleep test & it was now fixed in the official build
2 - BSG Gcam works very fine for me, did u set Hardware Level to Level 3+? reduce to Level 3 vs 3+ doesn't work
3 - Dolby Vision with HDR10+ won't be supported here due to some very special modification on the actual MIUI that we aren't supposed to do it here as it would heavily affect our system base framework & also some more problems around it

Just had problems with the setup wizard and couldn't restore so I had to setup as new.
Beside that, it's really good, smooth as butter, battery has been good so far and no bugs found.

MiAtoll is an unified source for all of Xiaomi's Sanapdragon 720G Devices!
Meaning, Redmi Note 9S(Curtana) , Redmi Note 9Pro(Joyeuse), Redmi Note 9Pro Max(Excalibur) & POCO M2 Pro(Gram) have the same processor so our Lineage dev unified them into one tree..
Technically ROMs built on MiAtoll trees should work on all these 4 phones!

im getting a vendor error when installing a custom kernel.
I tried two other roms and was getting either a vendor mount error or system error. Will it happen with this one?
What about fast charging? Does 30W charge for joyeuse working?

CTS Fails because i didn;t include a custom fp.. the stock fp is included for all the devices... maybe in future i can try switching to pixel fp to make CTS work!

Go to recovery mod connect to pc , copy everything from sd to desktop , format sd card with the rom , copy back

I have been using this for 4 days. Really appreciate this. Great one. But I have been facing a issue. Don't know if it's for the rom or not. I have flashed magisk through twrp. Flashing was successful. But magisk manager app shows nothing but home tab. You can see the sa. Even I tried to check root access. Root checker says no root access is there. Can anyone help?

It worked! Thank you enjoying the ROM very much
Happen to be enjoying very much. There aren't any noticable big to me. Battery backup is way too better. But charging seems to be taking too much time. I am using default charger of redmi s2. Still it takes 3.5 - 4 hours to charge fully! Is there any way to fix that?
First let me say I really like this ROM, it is smooth and pleasant
Bugs so far:
- Fingerprint is not working in most apps. Probably the classes work but the function to check for its presence is not working... (If I cant fix this with say a magisk mod etc this is a dealbreaker for me unfortunetly)
- When battery is very low the device sometimes starts bootlooping (reboots instantly after completing boot anim), happened 2 times so far no idea what causes it.

Tested with stock charger several times, it was charging for 1 hour and 50 minutes, sometimes for 2 hours
Did you flash any custom kernel? Maybe some apps using resources too much?

It was tested too, at banking apps and a Yandex Browser it was working fine, I think your apps doesn't support unlockings by fp

Revolut and Keepass2Android, both have fp unlock and both work on stock rom...
However, Authy fp unlock works. But hardware testing app that checks fp (found on playstore) says "device does not have fingerprint sensor"

Messenger and facebook freezes often. Nothing works that time. Only I can do is press power button for a moment until the phone restarts

Can you tell me how to flash without data lose?
When I set for auto brightness, it get fixed at one point in almost middle of the bar. Going in dark or light has no affect on brightness level. It is fixed at the point.
Thank you hope this freezing problem will be solved soon.

If coming from other AOSP ROM then clean flash is mandatory
Otherwise dirty flash (without wiping data) may be proceed, but clean flash recommended

No brother no charging issues may be its your charger or battery fault ot a bad battery stats so just try resetting your battery stats

1.-in facebook or instagram status random checking, phone freezes completely, so have to reboot manually
2.-and it takes more than 5 hours to charge, never full just to 9x%, could be because of waiting time , tried original samsung fast 2amp charger, motorola and original xiaomi charger, different cables, same out come, as well usb
3.-nice to have pixel apps but some are not used like digital wellbeing, uninstall not possible remains to update
4.-changed camera app, not easy to select video after camera selection disapears.
5.-google gallery, not able to select "sort by" order, so changed gallery app.
6.- my rookie mistake, but haven't found the option for twin apps or work profile

Welcome, but that's Redmi S2 (ysl) group, you need to go at M1803E6H group

Nothing wrong with SultanXDA LMK..I had a OnePlus One with his amazing development on and his knowledge is second to none. Yes LMKD is more current, but is a lot more aggressive and kills processes that are needed. I do understand your frustration but I also know the work that Ad!thya does (he was also a developer of Bacon and was responsible for bring-ups on a device that everyone thought would never see life beyond Marshmallow).
I also agree with your statement here about asking daft questions, although some people aren't as well 'versed' with Custom ROM as I think you are.

This is like miui and oxygen had a baby, its great for every day use. but the camera bug on some apps like telegram and messenger etc is bothering. i wish the next update will fix it

A ROM that has what it takes
I found a bug, when recording the screen, the device's internal audio recording does not work

LMKD uses PSI to determine memory pressure and CANNOT kill needed processes or even relevant ones in the system, the "pinned" stuff is respected by LMKD but not by LMK or SLMK.
Oh and I forgot, the entire "android personalization services" thingy that they all include anyway is designed to use LMKD, if you don't, it won't work right and things will conflict. Most ROM devs don't get how this work yet either and most don't care either for some reason. that is WHY PE is my choice of supported ROM, becacause while they **** up all the time, at least it's AOSP and I can fix it before release.

What rom do you recommend for the redmi note 8?
Does this Rom have the functionality of being able to disable notifications for a set time? own the smart lock?
Strange problem with fonts here and Ukrainian language, most letters are ok with the default font, but some of them is Times New Roman for some reason

According to one of my users, it does. In case it doesn't, you can flash android 10 firmware.
Thank you for your effort, smooth rom with great ui, only thing is I'm having slow charging issue (china variant). Hope you fix it, rather than changing kernel (have no choice) honestly, no custom kernel is at par with your QS. Cheers & Best regards!

First Time Install / Clean Flash [From Another AOSP Rom or Oxygen OS 11]Pre-requisites : Latest Oxygen OS 11 Firmware!
Steps :
- Download lineageos recovery image for your variant.
- Boot to Bootloader by either using the command adb reboot bootloader or by manually turning off the device and pressing and holding Vol Up and Vol Down while pressing the Power Button to turn it on.
- Flash the Recovery Image by using the command: fastboot flash boot lineageos-recovery.img [Replace lineageos-recovery.img with proper name of the downloaded img file]
- Reboot to Recovery Mode directly by using the command fastboot reboot recovery or by manually selecting the option “Reboot to Recovery” using the Power and Volume buttons while still being in Bootloader
- Once in Recovery Mode, Choose “Factory Reset” and accordingly choose “Format Data / Factory Reset” [Note: This will wipe your data!]
- Once Format Data is done, go to “Apply Update” and select “Apply from ADB”
- Now on your system, write the command adb sideload evo.zip to start sideloading. _[Replace evo.zip with proper name of the downloaded ROM Zip]_
- Once done, Reboot to System.
From ColorOS 12 / Oxygen OS 12
- Flashing on top of ColorsOS / Oxygen OS 12 is not yet supported, so consider rolling back to Android 11
- The easiest way to do it is to use MSM Tool
- Once back in OxygenOS 11, follow the instructions for Flashing from Oxygen OS 11 / Another AOSP Custom ROM
From existing Evolution-X Builds
- Reboot to Recovery
- Press Volume Up + Power Button to display options
- Use Volume Buttons to navigate to “Update via ADB” option
- Select it using Power Button
- On PC use the command : adb sideload evo.zip to start install
- Reboot once done

i must be wrong, as you've already stated. I just jumped the boat onto A12 AOSP rom from another A12 AOSP rom. I'm just curious if there's any chance? (i can't msm since i have no windows atm)

You can try jumping from ASOP rom 12 to another ASOP rom 12. I done that myself before. But then again, you don't have Windows machine to flash rom.
In all honest I like custom rom more then OOS. But due to some additional functionality and features like change screen resolution from UHD to Full HD, Dolby Atoms and most importantly OOS camera functionality make's me go back to OOS 11. Rapid charging is available only. The rest is not. If you want all the features you describe in your question you better off staying away from custom roms and stay with OOS.

Warp charge works on most ROMs. Its a hardware/kernel feature not ROM feature. I tested on both ROMs StagOS and EvolutionX, both work. Warp charge 50W wireless aswell as warp charger 65W wired. It just shows Rapid Charging instead of warp charging and wrong time "Full in 1hr, 24 min". I hope the time will either be removed or patched in coming updates. I also would love to see it say warp charge with warp charge animation preferably,

Double tap to wake not working
been using this for 1 week, here is my experience (READ FULL):- safetynet passes by default.
- comes with juice bengal kernel pre-installed.
- DT2W doesnt work, could be a kernel thing, but i flashed moonbase and it still doesnt work.
- i've had one instance where the rom kept restarting, but i fixed it by wiping cache and dalvik in recovery.
- there's no app lock.
- theres no way you'll realise you're using a custom rom, it's that smooth.
- dynamic theming works perfectly, but sometimes the clock widget doesn't update to the current wallpaper. fixed it by removing the widget and adding it again, hasn't happened again since then.
yes i'm nitpicking but tbh this is genuinely one of the most stable and bug free roms i've tried. still waiting for may security patch
EDIT: updated to may security patch, fingerprint sensor is now more accurate
OP has added DT2W enabler in the post but the telegram link isn't working for me.
the rebooting issue is fixed.

1. Microphone can't work as well as the previous version.
2. Bluetooth headset work so bad for this version. Music stuck again and again.

What's the matter? When I try to install the OS using Twrp, It says this :

PS: I tried to move the zip file inside my internal storage but have the same issue.
PS 2: I installed the Orangefox recovery and then the problem no longer existed.

i had this issue too after dirty flashing from april security patch, i just clean flashed the may security patch by flashing fastboot version of miui to reset partitions (error 1) first, then reflashing ofox then pixelos.
i guess its because of kernel being changed from juice bengal to guuji.

this rom has good battery life, not exceptionally efficient but better than miui.
doze works perfectly, but if you want to tweak doze behaviour, try naptime on play store
Good day guys. I tried installing. I keep getting the POCO sign then screen goes black.. When I reboot into recovery. There are no errors. any help please? Using OFOX recovery. Im really frustrated already no other custom rom besides one other rom....Please HELP!!! I follow each installation guide to the Tee.
help, im flashing this rom from pixel extended and i did this step, boot into twrp -> factory reset -> install pixelos + dfev3. but after boot i cant access the storage there is nothing in here and i open storage in setting its always force close and i cannot boot in to twrp again its blinking when the twrp screen comes up its blinking black and twrp screen shows again and black again. sorry guys can you help me? im confused cause ive never face this issuem sorry for my bad english

Hi guys, just installed. ROM is working great except that my quick settings panel is permanently stuck in dark mode regardless of theme setting. Anyone know of a fix?

I am using the PixelOS 12.1 with the build number 20220708. These are my experiences.
- No performance penalties
- Launcher is good but not the best (few lacking feature)
- Lacks some features on the 3-button navigation (e.g. quickly double tap home button to turn on the flashlight, hold back button to kill the app)
- Audio modification + ViPER4Android works well with this custom ROM
- Dynamic theming is kinda wonky right now (the setting icon has magenta color on the menu but it changes into blue after tapping it)
Things that are broken, so far...
- Microphone (some apps cannot access the microphone even though 'Mic access' is available, in Recorder you need to force to use the phone microphone instead of auto on the settings)
- Camera (built-in camera has a bug when taking pictures but not videos, custom GCam builds partially fixes this but can be fixed by turning on Google AWB, Open Camera fixes this if you want easy way of taking pictures)
- Vibration (navigation presses, notifications, calls doesn't send a haptic feedback. it has very weak motor power for the feedback)
The touch is not working on my M3.
Edit: I fixed just installing another kernel.

..hey dev..i started experiencing this issue today...it was fine before but now screen freezes after one minute of rebooting..have to reboot every minute..i m sick of this..whats th solve
The ROM is very good, the performance is great, but the game panel is basically useless, there's no way to config a game library and the DSU loader is not working.
this rom deserves an up here, because it shows you to be a great rom, with great performance and battery life.
