Hi, i am using SM-A325FZKGEUC and i live in switzerland. You can't call an emergency if you don't have sim here. so as you can see i can't call. But the strange thing is that signal nar suddenly changes to very low. The phone is receiving UMTS in default so normally the signal bar shoudn't change if you call in UMTS. Does anybody have an idea?

Are you sure you cant call emergency without sim? because i live in Switzerland too and i can

Honor 6X supports only dual card dual standby single pass, which means you cannot use both SIM cards for calls or data services simultaneously.
When you are on a call using SIM card 1, SIM card 2 cannot be used to make or answer calls. If someone calls SIM card 2, the caller will hear a voice message
similar to "The subscriber you dialed is out of the service area" or simlar to that depending on your service provider.
Similarly when you are using SIM card 1's data service, SIM card 2's data service will be disabled.

That is working fine..If I am on Jio sim for outgoing, I am getting incoming calls on my idea sim and can receive/reject as well.

As you have mentioned JIO, I would like to confirm once whether you are using JIO voice app for outgoing call (LTE voice Call) ?
Bcos, while we are having outgoing call from JIO voice app, If we get any incoming call in 2nd SIM, the JIO data is disconnected which disconnects the call through it.
If we reject the call in that other SIM, then JIO network gets connected and JIO calls gets re-connected (If the intermediate time is less)

Agreed. just tested this..havent came across such situation earlier and got call only once when I was on call on Jio sim. Yes, I use jio4voice app as this is VOLTE phone but doesnt support the jio Volte yet (Chinese variant)

The same happens with my Honor 5X too. That's why confirmed.
Also, I need to know one thing. VoLTE is different for different networks or regions?

should be regions as bands are mostly the same in one region across different network.

Seems that the chinese variant supports B3 and B40 LTE. So now LTE is getting connected in JIO. But VoLTE doesn't work?

VOLTE work with Jio app only and not regular dialer...seems because its Chinese version and not compatible. heard that Letv also has same issue but was resolved with software update. once we have Indian version binaries out, we will try to upgrade and see.

I just lost Airtel network completely out of nowhere. I am on PE with PureCAFX3 kernel.

After MIUI 12 update my phone started showing VoLTE on calls history for 1 carrier (not in the notification bar near signal) but phone is really connected to 3G UMTS during those calls.

may be issue is related to google dialer or having some bug in global stable flash any other custom rom if u can based on miui 12.
I am using eu rom 12.0.3 stable. I have no issue like this.
Hello, I bought an S7A on eBay. I unlocked it with the GSM unlock code provided. Everything works fine, except ... I can't make or receive calls. When I make a call, no ringing tone, and it hangs up 20 seconds later. When someone calls me, the same, then they come across my answering machine.
I'm on the latest version of Oero available, no root or whatever. From what I saw (on GSMArena), the phone uses compatible frequencies in France.
I am at carrier Bouygues Teelcom.

Same problem, this phone does not work in China
Since then I have understood the real problem: the phone cannot switch from the 4G network to the 2G network for calls on its own.
I don't know how I did it, but now I can make calls without any problem, but switching to 2G is very long (15 s).
I specify that it is impossible to use VoLTE to circumvent this problem.
For receiving calls, the phone does not switch to 2G and the incoming call still fails.
But I can force the 2G network (With the Samsung Band Selection app). And there, incoming calls work, but we only have 2G to surf.
When connected to WIFI, the phone automatically forces the mobile network to 2G, so incoming calls work without the application mentioned before.
I used to fix ims with phh settings,and the phone call is working,also can send message.but cant receive the message.......

Not related to gsi, but i had this issue on the regular Chinese Rom. The thing that fixed it for me was switching the sim back to old phone and then back into the Motorola phone. It used to be very frequent in the past so i would send a message to myself to check if things were working. Doesn't happen anymore. You said the lte calls work. What is your career and country?
