If rooted and Xposed (or equivalent) available you can spoof the Android ID with XPL by @M66B:
[CLOSED][APP][XPOSED][6.0+] XPrivacyLua - Android privacy manager [UNSUPPORTED]
XPrivacyLua Really simple to use privacy manager for Android 6.0 Marshmallow and later (successor of XPrivacy). Revoking Android permissions from apps often let apps crash or malfunction. XPrivacyLua solves this by feeding apps fake data...

Thanks for the reply bro. But can you suggest me any root apps for same.
I don't think that you need any security app if you install your apps from play store. It will just work always in background and use some ram and cpu and actually do nothing. That is just my opinion

Actually im looking for an app which cleans out the junk. I flash lots of roms and install lots of apps and mods so most of the time junks lefts out and i have so many duplicate files. So in marshmallow clean master or any other app is not working as the xiaomi security app. Most apps showing that they have deleted the duplicate files but they still exists.
Well than just stop using mods because they can couse bugs whick you will not normally encounter. And talking about clean master and apps like that, they usually just clean ram which in android will not do anything good, it will just slow down the device while it starts all those apps again.

Hey guy, if you want security, which means that you need to prevent some apps getting your private data (Contacts, Storage, SMS, etc.) or you want to restrict apps to get online (for privacy purposes or to save mobile data), i can recommend you this:
- install AFWall+ from F-Droid. This is a firewall. Here you can allow or disallow apps to connect to internet. Root and Su binaries are necessary.
- flash Xposed Framework and then install Xprivacy. With Xprivacy you can exactly define all permissions for each app.
With this tools, you can get more and deeper security than with the MIUI in-built security app.

Ccleaner might be what you're looking for to remove leftover junk from uninstalled apps. Hopefully the android port is as good as the windows version.

MIUI uses clean master security app with its own theme thats it. so go for it.
the yellow and green color named 'Android Assistance' is the best for any custom rom.. just give the permission and see the magic

Only AEX and GApps but still "Microsoft Company Portal" app says Phone is Rooted

Only AEX and GApps but still "Microsoft Company Portal" app says Phone is Rooted
Dear All,
I have installed installed AEX 5.6 along with GApps. There is no Magisk installed. Basically the device in completely unrooted state from my perspective.
Still, when I open "Microsoft Company Portal" app, it says that the device is rooted.
There are threads which talks about scenario when Magisk is installed and then how to have Microsoft Company Portal in a way that it finds it unrooted.
But my scenario is completely different, just a plain AEX and GApps.
Is it something related to the "test-keys" , "release-keys" ?
If yes, then how can I get AEX with "release-keys" ?
Please help.
Regards,
Amit

Thank you faizauthar,
I understand that I need to use Magisk now. The reason for asking this question was earlier, just with AEX and GApps only, it used to work. Magisk was not needed.
May be, Microsoft updated the Root Detection algorithm in "Company Portal" app.

SU Addon or Magisk? [addonsu]

How do I decide whether to root with the "LineageOS SU Addon" or with Magisk?

For root only the addon is OK. If you wish to hide root from selected apps, play Pokémon go (as soon as safetynet is fixed) or use some fancy modules (like equaliser app viper4android) use magisk.
I am currently using addon su as I felt violated by the persistent & automatic module being installed by swift installer.
I must say it works seamlessly with privacy guard and with the help of an additional app available on xda labs
iSu
I'll be able to pass safetynet, once the selinux status becomes enforcing.
You can also set it to disable root when you run particular apps.. Such as pokenon

I thank you for sharing those good ideas. But there is a common misunderstanding regarding safetynet. Apps like Pokémon go refuse to work, if safetynet is triggered by your phone setup. As safetynet is closed source and regularly updated, it can be triggered by an arbitrary detail. Not only root like some apps show in their refus-to-work messages.

ISu does try to cover that aspect, change props, fingerprint etc
Change kernel to enforcing etc etc. But I agree, it's a Cat and mouse game

Question for Danish (nordic?) users - SafetyNet

Hi all,
Does anyone know how the 5T behaves with Android 10/11 in regards to SafetyNet? I am thinking of replacing the ageing Android 9 install with the new android 10 or maybe even android 11 - but I'd like to find out if I will be having problems with mobile banking software (nordea, danske bank, jyske bank etc) - Mobilepay - and maybe the national ID solutions as well.
Does anyone of you have experience with that? are you having issues? I suppose its not really specific for the 5T...
I can still pass SafetyNet using Magisk on Android 10.
EvalType is basic on the OnePlus 5T at the moment, so Google are not checking for an unlocked bootloader.
I'm in the UK, however if your banking software works on Android 9, it still should on Android 10. No problems with my UK banks, Android Pay or Pokemon Go.

I have read a little about it - thanks! But I've also read posts with people saying that its not working on A11 with SafetyNet? Are you on A11 with banking apps etc? I suppose the Pokemon app is a valid test as well..

Question Cannot use Google Pay on rooted Poco F3

Hey I have a question that really bothers me that I cannot use Google pay on my rooted poco f3 with stock Redmi K40 MIUI ROM.
I already hide all my google apps with Magisk hide and tried multiple times.
I also read something about changing my device fingerprint using `props` command in terminal but I failed to find Redmi K40 or Poco F3 on the list.
Is there anyone who can help me ? Thank you ^^
You can try the package "MagiskHide Props Config" from the built-in Magisk repos.
There is a lot which can be configured with that package, but there should be no need.
The documentation is (thankfully, for an Android project) quite extensive.
I already installed it and I don't actually know what to do other than change the device fingerprint from there, which I can't find poco f3 in the certified device list.
So my question is actually: Is there a device fingerprint of POCO F3 that I can directly replace on my ROM and use?
I'm not an expert for this topic, but are you sure all the Google Play apps (Play Store, Play Framework etc) are working correctly?
The only time I had a similar sounding issue was when I played around with microG and Nandroid.
I might look more deeply into it if i find the time.
What rom are you using? Im on rooted miui .eu 12.5.2 and all works as normal.

I'm using MIUI 12.5.2 CN Version on my POCO F3, so my device isn't "recognized" by Google
Have selected magisk hide ,not hiding apps but Magisk itself? What version of magisk are you using? Are you using v23?

Can you pass safety net test? If not, try universal safetynet fix module by kdragon, it works for me. You should be able to use Google pay service if you pass safety net.
i can't even use DBS apps, no matter how i tried to hide it (via magisk) somehome it's still detect root...therefore no mbile apps for rooted F3... (in my poco f3)

how did you root your china rom?
flash gpay sqlite fix
Have you checked both options for hiding Google pay? Also, have you hidden the magisk app itself by renaming it in the magisk settings?
Once you done those things, if they weren't done before, you may need to clear cache/data from Gpay in order for the app start a 'fresh' and not be 'aware' of root - but that's just a guess... i don't use Gpay, but i've just tried it on ArrowOS with root, all i did was hide magisk app itself and hide Google pay from root as per image
