Hi everyone,
I need help to fix this problem: Stuck On Fastboot and SECURE BOOT -yes
I use LG G8 with firmware G820N20v Korean Open, the details how it ended up like this was:
1. I did unlock bootloader + magisk root after doin crossflash, it ended up well.
2. then i try to write my IMEI using this methods: https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-38608.html but didn't succes, the imei didnt change and my magisk been lost.
3. someone on my local group told me to try disable dm-verity first before write my IMEI. So i search for methods and found this one: https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-32719.html yes i flashed that empty vbmeta, and when i restart my phone it ended with white screen sayin that i need to insert pasword with 30x attemps (now still had about 10-15 attempts because it decrease everytime phone restart) because my phone is encrypted but i cannot touch any of my screen.
4. i can u enter EDL mode though, so i tried to restore everything that i backuped before like FTM, BOOT_A, BOOT_B, ABL_A, ABL_B and it ended Stuck On Fastboot with SECURE BOOT -yes. Heres the pic:

I have two G3 D855 phones and what i did was exactly the same as my primary one, and it's not working
For the secondary phone
1) everything was perfect after I changed 32GB chips (ROM, my friend flashed something wrong and hard bricked the device) from repair shop, but I just lost the IMEI, so it's showing 0 currently (i know i can repair but don't bother yet)
2) phone is normal in 6.0MM nor I use LGUP to downgrade to 5.0 LP
3) used "newest root method v03" from there to root the phone
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/guide-root-method-lg-devices-t3129197
4) go to playstore, download AutoRec D855 to install TWRP
5) problem starts here
once i reboot to TWRP using reboot widget, or adb command, i can go into TWRP, but phone stuck in LG logo after another reboot
To boot up the OS again, I have to take out the battery for 10+ min, then insert it again and it will boot up, and i can also go into TWRP from the OS
or if i turn off device, I cannot boot up, not until i take out the battery for 10+ min
I have flashed the phone using KDZ twice and same problem, after install TWRP from AutoRec, I have this bootup problem.
Any help please?

when i try to put it into download mode (holding vol up and plug in USB) or using "ADB reboot download" command
that's what i see, i think i messed up my download mode?
when I follow this guide, it said "failed to erase" in first step
http://mybaseisrace.blogspot.hk/2016/02/how-to-fix-lg-g3-download-mode-not.html
Well I screwed up.
I was having issues flashing TRWP and someone from Reddit had offered to help me. I was following his direct instructions which led to the phone being bricked and him blocking me....b******d....
What happened?
When flashing TWRP and going straight to recovery, the stock recovery would still load. This guy told me to flash TWRP, then to run the command to relock the boot loader.
What happens now?
The phone will only load to this screen, and will reload it every time I try to turn the phone off. I can't get into fastboot or recovery mode. If I drain the battery, then plug it back in, the phone will turn on as soon as it has enough power and boot into the OS fine, then will die from low battery and go back to the error screen. The phone does not appear when using ADB devices or Fastboot devices.
What I've tried
Getting into Fastboot
Getting into Recovery
Loading the phone
Forcing an update from SD card.
All of these just give me the same error screen
If anyone can help me to recover this phone it would be great appreciated.

I want to root sm-a505fn, I already rooted some phone so I am familiar with TWRP and Odin.
First thing, why isn't the A50 listed on the TWRP page? there are only Samsung Galaxy A5 2016 (Exynos) (a5xelte) and Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 (a5y17lte).
I have read about the OEM unlock, however didn't understand if I have to disable (grayed out) it or not, since some tutorial say different things.
At the end I tried with this fw, but it doesn't work. W or w/o OEM Lock, I get blocked by oem lock . Odin does not complete, it is stuck on VBMETA RQT_CLOSE !!.
Maybe because of the locked bootloader? I was wandering why in each tutorial I find press volume up to unlock the bootloader but when I restart the phone in recovery mode, I don't find that screen, but the following one. After I select Reboot to bootloader I get in download mode:

Other tutorials say to power the phone with VOL UP + VOL DOWN, but does not power on at all...

Need explain please.
Thx
At the end I have been able to unlock the bootloader and install the TWRP from this guide, but:
- no-verity-opt-encrypt-6.1 fails to install
- multidisabler-samsung-2.2 gets installed but don't know how to check it...
- Magisk-21.2(21200).zip gets installed from TWRP but does not result to be installed on the phone
- MagiskManager-v8.0.4 from phone get installed, but even if the installed version results to be last available, it proposes to install it. Furthermore i do not have the option to direct install Magisk (the third option)...
Could the problem be the wrong version of TWRP?
Hi dears
Really happy o be a part of this great community..
I am working in jeddah, KSA . I am not a developer. I have an issue with my redmi device. Can someone help to solve this please..
I tried to flash my Mi Note 5A (China MDT6S) 4GB 64 GB version in fast boot mode. The phone was not bootable fro 1 year, was stuck with mi logo (showed on bottom 'unlocked'). I searched internet and found firmware and tried to flash using that firmaware in fast boot mode using MiFlash tool.
File name : Xiaomi_Redmi_Note_5A_V11.0.3.0.NDFMIXM_20191022.0000.00_Global_7.1_XFT. It took 300+ seconds for many steps and then showed 'rebooting' status. I waited again, for some minutes. but then showed me timeout!!!!
Then when tried to start the device i shows penguin screen. I am trapped from there
Then i searched again over internet. Got some ideas to open the device and short the two points. I did it and connected usb cable at same time. Got my device in COM05 and tried to flash again in MiFlash tool. But cannot recieve helium packet. Also it tries to reset status and shows 'object reference not set to an instance of an object'.
I have tried different versions of flash tool.
A help from someone to solve this will be highly appreciated.
I have tried all below firmwares

Reboot
I've been successfully running LineageOS 18.1 on my (Magisk-rooted) Pixel 3. The unlocked bootloader screen at bootup became annoying and so I decided to relock the phone. Without reading all of my HowTo notes (because I thought I remembered).
I sent "adb reboot bootloader" and then "fastboot flashing lock" and got the notice on the phone to press POWER if I wanted to re-lock and so I did. But the next screen said it couldn't find an operating system !!
I turned the phone off and then manually booted into Fastboot where I was able to unlock the phone again at which point it remembered where the operating system was and I was able to boot back into it. (And since I had forgotten that locking OR unlocking does a hard reset - for which I hadn't prepared for AT ALL - I spent the next 2 day rebuilding my phone from scratch. Yes, it serves me right.)
So what did I do wrong? how can I re-lock the bootloader without losing LineageOS?

Dunno, I am afraid you can't... but I vaguely remember that this message annoyed me as well and there are ways to turn it off.
In the end, I decided this annoying message is not worth my time and nowadays I think of it more like this:

Yes, you! And me! Both of us! That's who! The other 99.9% are idiots and wouldn't even know how to begin to unlock a phone
