as per my information, Doogee S96 GT has the same design as the Doogee S96 pro with improvements in its memory, chipset, selfie camera, and OS. Talking about the appearance, the S96 GT will have a special limited edition yellow gold variant.
Improvements:
Talking of improvements, the new S96 GT will use the MediaTek Helio G95 chipset with improvements over the Helio G90 the S96 Pro used. With this chipset, this newer model will be faster, smoother, and more reliable. The base storage also saw a sizable increment from 128GB in the Pro model to 256GB in the newer S96 GT model. Even better, the S96 GT has an SD card slot that will allow you to expand up to 1TB.
Doogee S96 Pro was the first device to launch with a night vision camera. The S96 GT will also carry this feature but with a new improved capability to capture anything within a 15m range.
Another area the S96 GT improves over the S96 Pro is with the selfie camera. The newer model sports a 32MP selfie clicker instead of a 16MP front camera on the older model. Also, the new Doogee S96 GT will run the latest Android 12 OS out of the box.
As mentioned earlier, the company kept many things the same in the newer model. This includes the 6.22” display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, the 6320mAh battery, and the 48MP + 20MP + 8MP camera setup on the back.

Other similarities are IP68 and IP69K ratings which makes both the S96 Pro and S96 GT water-resistant. They are also MIL-STD-810H certified which means they are usable in extreme weather without any problem. Doogee S96 GT will also run Android 12 out of the box instead of the Android 10 the Pro model ship with.

I'm also loving the design, although they look like early renders. If that price is confirmed I might really think about getting one.
I'd love such a unique design! Also I expect many things from the new Helio X20 processor! Hope it's even more successful than it's predecessor X10

After their pretty innovative devices such as the CUBOT H2 and others, today CUBOT is going to launch a high-end model after being quiet for more than one year since cooperating with Cheetah Mobile.
The above picture is a preview of the S9 design artwork leaked by CUBOT engineer. A very interesting feature is the semi-circular design of fingerprint module, which can shorten the phone’s chin and make it bezel-less. Watching from the side, we can see that CUBOT S9 back is thick on the top, and thin at the bottom. Since Huawei and Leica collaborated and launched the Huawei P9, Dual Camera may become a major trend in mobile phone industry. It seems that the CUBOT S9 will also take this design.
Currently, the CUBOT S9 is in development and seems to be the most beautiful and best configurated high-end flagship phone in the history of CUBOT.
Specs:
- CPU: Snapdragon 823
- RAM & ROM: 6GB+128GB
- Semi-circular Touch ID modular
- 5.5 inches SHARP screen
- Body Size: 139mm * 70mm * 6.5 mm
- 2800mAh Battery, Quick-Charge
- Dual 16 MP Back Camera + 8 MP Front Camera
- USB Type-C, instead of 3.5mm headphone jack
- Android 6.0 OS
Wow. I'm guessing this is bezelless?
Yes, i hope that they do not switch the CPU from the Snapdragon 823 to the Helio P10 as UMI did...

REVIEW
Review of Leagoo M8
DESIGN
The new LEAGOO M8 comes with a 5.7″ display, 2.5D IPS screen with 1280 x 720 screen resolution (HD) and Gorilla Glass 4 to protect it. The M8 comes in three cool color variants namely, Titanium gray, Galaxy Silver and Champagne Gold.
HARDWARE
The hardware is similar to the M5, so under the hood we will find the well known Quad Core MTK6580A clocked at 1.3GHz. With the SoC, the M8 has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The internal storage can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD.
FEATURES
In the camera department, there are a F2.2 13MP on the back with AF and LED flash. The front camera hosts an F2.0 8MP sensor. Under the rear camera, there is the 0.19s fast fingerprint reader. In addition, the Leagoo M8 comes with Freeme OS 6.0, based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Lastly, the M8 adopts Awinic K7 chip which features Hi-Fi standard sound and Box Speaker to elevate your listening to music experience. 8 MP (SW 13 MP) main camera 5 MP + (SW 8 MP) front camera. Supports Dual SIM and supports only 2 G & 3 G network.
BATTERY
The Leagoo M8 comes with a 3.500mAh battery. The big batter, with the low-power MTK6580A SoC in combination with the 720p resolution, should give an excellent performance and more than one dasy of normal use.
CONCLUSION
The Leagoo M8, the new creation of Leagoo, comes with some good specs. For sure the battery will last for about two days.
Cheapest smartphone
Leagoo M8 have many reason to buy, like a cheapest, bigger screen, huge memory, great battery capacity and Excellent camera.
Looks great!!! Also the Leagoo M8 Pro just got released so might be interesting how that one performs and how much better it really is.

Hi

The AGM X1 is one of the latest smartphones to be released from AGM and if the recent information is correct, it is about to be joined by two new X-series variants. These are the AGM X2 and the AGM X2 Pro. Generally speaking, both smartphones do seem poised to be high-end smartphones and are generally alike in a number of departments. Although based on the current details, the Pro version is looking to offer an even more premium experience, thanks to the inclusion of better battery life and a greater degree of RAM and internal storage.
According to the information coming through, the AGM X2 and Z2 Pro come equipped with a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display, along with an FHD resolution. Inside is where you will find the most notably differences between the AGM X2 and the X2 Pro – as the AGM X2 will come equipped with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, while the Pro version is said to come packing 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Both versions are said to come powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800-series processor, although which specific 800 processors have yet to be confirmed. In terms of the cameras, the AGM X2 and the X2 Pro are said to make use of a dual rear camera setup which comprises of two 16-megapixel rear cameras and this is in addition to a 13-megapixel front-facing camera. Battery capacity is another defining difference between the two variants, with the AGM X2 expected to come boasting a 6,000 mAh battery and the X2 Pro version coming loaded with a 10,000 mAh battery. Additionally, both variants are expected to come running on Android 7.0 (Nougat) out of the box.
Unfortunately, details on the exact availability or pricing have yet to be confirmed for either the AGM X2 or the AGM X2 Pro. Although. It is being reported that the AGM X2 is likely to make its debut at MWC 2017 in Barcelona next month.

And then what? Have another phone which won't have custom roms or drivers or kernel sources? I bought an AGM A8 a couple of months ago and now it is nothing but an expensive paper-weight due to the manufacturer not releasing any sources or drivers for this piece of crap. AGM is even worse than others like Oukitel or Doogee, and that's saying a lot.
@jadephyre they released source code for X1: http://www.agmmobile.com/en/news/AGM-X1-released-source-code and i think there is two custom ROM for A8 LOS 14.1 and RR: http://www.gizchina.com/2017/04/14/agm-custom-roms-remix-os-agm-a8/ http://www.agmmobile.com/en/news/now-AGM-A8-gets-Lineage-OS

I know about these ROMs, and they were never updated to include security patches and features in more recent versions of Lineage and RR. THAT is why I want the source-code for the phone.
At the moment it is just lying around, catching dust, being a rather expensive paper-weight.
Last time I ever buy a ****ty china-phone...

But does it root?
Can this be rooted??
Doogee S70 / Doogee S80
I know some of you aren't too enthusiastic about Doogee's products but after 1 year using the Y7 Plus, I can't complain about my device, except for the camera quality - especially at low-light it's a real pain in the "bottom". However, never having to worry about low battery levels during the day, is a luxury I'd never do without anymore.
The Doogee S80 - and the S70 - have got a camera sensor and a chipset which are both well above average. (and I'm not even talking about the huge battery)
Camera sensor: IMX363
Chipset: Helio P23
What do I need to do to get the best out of it? Is there any dedicated ROM? Any dedicated gcam or some other camera app?
I hope there's enough devoted Doogee devs and users left, to help us out!
Doogee S70 / Doogee S80
No reactions yet? Are these phones that impopular?
I've been spending every second of my spare time in the last weeks, reading as much as I could find about these (and several other) phones. FYI, it seems that installing Open Camera improves the photo quality a lot. I hope that this info could maybe be useful to some of the users. Too bad Doogee didn't put more attention into its camera software.
I'm still not convinced enough to buy them tho, so is there still no-one who has some good news about any GCAM port for the Doogee IMX363 camera phones?
My main concerns for a new phone are a large battery (for professional reasons, I'm using my phone's GPS constantly) and quality (very) low-light pictures - again for the job.

I know it's been awhile but I'll answer you. Does it root? Barely. I got one about a year and a half ago, maybe two years. Long story short after loads of research, (once I unlocked the bootloader as always in fastboot) I finally found there was a magisk method that required using specific releases only along with a custom magisk update channel. (For mtk devices) this method still doesn't technically root it either I have to use another script before the su manager is functional (luckily someone packaged it into an apk later, but originality it was an init setup) there is no official custom recovery. There are some unofficial twrp but only one of them work and it can't decrypt the storage no matter what .. so .. it sort of Roots? Also like any and every rugged phone I've ever had, it didn't take long before the protective rubber started peeling off ..
Yup,
