I'm experiencing a problem with Google Wallet since the PE 12 v2022-08-13
I've already tried with stock from Google Play Services and with the app Wallet from Google Play but always have same problem, which shows me the message:
Can't complete setup for contactless pay. To resolve this, you'll need to contact your bank. You can still pay with this card on Google and across other apps and sites, just like before
The bank say there's no problem and I still waiting the Google feedback answer.
There's no one problem with bank's app with all working great
I've setup the credit card in Samsung S10 with Google Wallet without any problems, so the problem is with my phone

try to search manually, maybe 4G in your zone is not working temporarily

I followed the steps on the article until booting from the recovery IMG, but I can't
So I installed TWRP Recovery and did the rest then installed PE 13
after wiping all data and formatted.
Then I found the PE can't detect the mobile network from to 2 SIM slots even the wifi.
Please any thoughts on how I can solve it?

[How it work?]
There are some difficulties at enabling NFC SWP feature.
Firstly, the default security element of NFC is eSE(embedded Secure Element), you need change it from eSE to UICC(Universal Integrated Circuit Card).
So you should modify the NFC config file at /system/libnfc-nxp.conf

Secondly, mobile app can't grant NFC permission (org.simalliance.openmobileapi.SMARTCARD) from stock Oxygen rom.
App needs this permission to access NFC Sim, however it got security exception.
In order to fix it, we need replaces SmartcardService.apk with "normal" version.

Certain countries use a different standard for NFCs. China uses SWP. They are able to swipe their phones at train stations and different credit card apps. Unneeded if you don't use it. Tested it in USA, it works but disables internet..

Thanks,It's better, I can activate NFC, I added the autorisation to my mobile payment app but my it still says my phone is not compatible, I don't know how to test if it's an issue with the app I use or if the mod doesn't work.

The problem:
The LEX720 is a dual-sim phone, and so the (banking) apps could read SIM-cards from either SIM1 or SIM2 slot (I tested, SmartcardService works with both). But if you also want to use NFC for payment it has to be inserted into SIM1 (as it seems that only the SIM1 slot ist connected over an SWP line to the NFC chipset). Unfortunately the Austrian banking apps don't seem to handle the dual-SIM situation correctly and only try to read SIM2 (which is empty for me) and therefore don't work.

I have flashed the magisk version of mod through twrp, and tried to set permission using "pm grant xxxxxxx org.simalliance.openmobileapi.SMARTCARD", but it seems that this permission does not exist now.
I tried to download the OP5 version of mod to find the difference between normal version and oreo version. I looked into the /dev folder on my device, found pn544 exists, but I can't understand what's the meaning of changed numbers in libnfc-nxp.conf...
May I know how to fix the module to make it works on oreo? Thanks!
Sorry to trouble you, it does work on OP3T running H2OS android 8.0.
I don't know what's the point, but after a factory reset, and reinstall the app which using nfc-sim, it can works perfectly. Just wipe the data of the app is not useful, a reinstall is needed
I upgraded to 8.0 from 7.0 by a dirty flash, it may be the cause.

Safety net pass confirmed Google pay and anything else. The only issue I have is trying to get games full screen. Does anyone know how to force full screen at the top instead of a black bar in games?
Edit: There seems to be a way in developer options. Since changing it though the game I want crashes. I think it's more to do with the game than the ROM though as I've been unable to run the game without issues on any android 11 rom.

It works fine on Samsung ROMs where I tap the app icon and change the ratio to make it full screen but there doesn't seem to be any way without issues on any non Samsung ROM. There is a black bar at the side with the camera notch. If I figure it out I'll let you know. It only happens on the apps that need tweaking on Samsung ROMs too.

Would the magisk patched lineage recovery remain untouched? Or will it be necessary to re-flash it via Odin after flashing PE OS?
Better than that, is it possible to flash the .img recovery file via Lineage Recovery, like in TWRP? I'm unable to find an answer to this question by googling (and in the Lineage Recovery I can only find the option to flash .zip files).

I dirty flashed over the [20211111-1914] 'Alpha' build, to this [20211123-1553] 'Beta' build, no problem.
- Doesn't require repartition process.
A few concerns:
- Camera app doesn't work after updating it from Google Play Store, so don't update it
- Live Caption feature doesn't work, let me know if there is a workaround
Rest seems to work all good, no major issues so far, let me know if I was suppose to install this clean.

These are not major issues, I didn't find any major issues so far, this a daily driver build!

I think it would be better to clean install this [20211123-1553] 'Beta' build. and not dirty flash over 'Alpha' builds.
'System UI' started crashing, while playing YouTube videos. And, had sign-in issues with Google Apps, probably because I dirty flashed over 'Alpha' build.
Edit: Yup!
- Google Play Store is now certified.
- Concerns are the same as shared above post, nothing major.
Clean install is recommended for the best.

Yes, banking apps seems to be working.
But, hold on, there seems to be an issue with video playback. 'System UI' crashes when I play video on YouTube, YouTube Music, Amazon Prime Video & MX Player Pro.

Got the same issue.
Wiping data seems to give an error 1.
EDIT:
Got it working by using TWRP en following instructions found in another thread:
Steps by 73sydney:
1) backup anything you love/need on internal storage (not joking)
2) enable usb debugging via developer options
3) adb reboot bootloader
4) fastboot format userdata
5) fastboot boot twrp-xxxxx.img
6) (In TWRP) enable sideload: Advanced -> ADB Sideload, then Swipe
7) adb sideload PixelExperience_xxxxx.zip
8) (In TWRP) Factory reset: Wipe, then Swipe
9) (In TWRP) Reboot to System: Reboot -> System

Can confirm there is a serious stability issue with System UI.
Even when not watching videos I get a crash around every 2 minutes max.
The ROM is unusable this way.

I tried But i couldn't, anyway is beautiful rom, only problem is crashing system ui some times
Do banking apps and similar apps that require noroot work on this rom (safetynet)? I've been out of this scene since Google Nexus so I have no idea anymore. Apologize if it's a dumb question.

Safety net work fine, my Google pay work fine. But still is beta version ,
Bug:
System ui crashed every 2/3 min. And has problem with every multimedia apps like YouTube and Spotify, you can't watch video because system ui crashed
Edit screen shot from screen not work.
Aod work only one minute،
Glans weather not work.
I can't remember more.

Everything now working great
Followed instructions as per this, stuck at Google logo. Kindly help
First of all, thanks to the developer team.
I faced a couple of issues. The indicated recovery fails when wiping data. I had to use the A11 build recovery to wipe data. Then flashed the A12 recovery and sideloaded the ROM. Booted fine but it now fails when wiping data after configuration.
Thanks, the A12 beta recovery failed to wipe data. I used the A11 stable recovery to wipe and sideload the A12 beta rom.

Just a quick question since i just bought the pixel 2 and installed my first rom (pixelexperience A12 beta) on it.
Is it possible to have the unlimited photo storage in these custom roms just like the stock rom?
Missed in beta build:
1: Glance weather on home screen
2: home icone on lock screen
3: face recognition on rotate screen ( i have on my pixel 5) maybe it's not support for pixel 2
4: every single time i can see GPS small icons over status bar ( i don't know is normal or not, on my pixel 5 i don't have it)
5 : wife calling and volte ( we didn't have it on A11 maybe we didn't get to on A12)

Same here. I can't format anymore, it returns error. I can't do anything, actually,just see the Google logo. ADB not working anymore, even if in Advanced Config it says it's on. Guess I bricked the phone. Anything I can try? Other softwares to try and restore the phone?

I'm sorry for my English. The ROM seems excellent in daily use, now I have had two problems, first my computer does not recognize my phone, do I need exclusive drivers? Second Pubg New State does not open, takes the custom ROM has tricks, is there any solution?

Been using this since last night. Running really smoothly. Couple of things..
Settings forced closed a couple of times and NFC doesn't seem to work. Tried to pay for something with my card and didn't work.

Is it possible to relock the bootloader?
I ask becouse I tried locking it and it gives me this message "Your device is corrupt. It can't be trusted and will not boot", I tired flashing p.e avb_custom_key but no luck, so I had to unlock it again for it to boot up.
PS: NFC doesn't seem to work

Rom is ultra smooth.. but it lags when I play genshin impact
Everything works for now, only thing I can't get to I wide camera... Neither front or back work.. I try'd with stock and gcam.

Can you please confirm the following 3 points?
1. Is google photos offering unlimited backup?
2. Is SELinus state enforcing or permissive (check in settings>>about phone>>Android Version).
3. Does Gpay and other banking apps work? I dont use NFC so it doesnt matter if payments using nfc are not working.
PS. I dont want to root the phone due to my work profile.
