Try if with the phone turn off quick charge works.
using tesla right now.. very very nice thanks chief whyorean!!
@WhyOrean i have two problems with this rom though: one is that offline charging seems bugged, it says "Charging! ???/100" and the other one is that hide clock in homescreen feature of Nova launcher (requires root) doesn't work clock is always shown anyway ;( but other root features like screen off gesture works fine..!
ps. in validus hide clock feature works fine!

AICP
Android Ice Cold Project( updated to December security patches)
Collaborative build by "woods" legends @iykeDROID & @vache bringing new life to us
AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

It probably won't have those issues going forward. Those issues are only on certain devices. The exact reason is still unclear, but if you have wifi and bt from the start, you're most probably fine.

Probably not. Stock and AOSP. Android Pie and Q. Make a backup and try if you want, but my bet is it won't work and you will have issues.

Op updated to include where I got full device sources.
I have some doubts before installing ...
- Are the Gapps included or do you have to download them separately? If so, which ones do you recommend?
- Are all Bugs described here present?
especially that Bug "Static sound on loudspeaker on video calls, PUBG etc." Is it also present in the rom? If so, is there any solution?
- Gcam works well with the ROM?
Thanks!

Yes. It's across all LOS-based ROMs.
Whenever they are fixed, they'll be fixed on all ROMs.
So will this ROM only work on H930? Is there a way to get it to work on LS998? I am about to root/unlock this phone for the first time. I've always heard great things about Havoc and if I can get it on this phone I'd be so happy. Even if I can't get ROMs working correctly on the LS998 would it be worth it to unlock/root and so I can manually upgrade to Pie with the official LG update?

Yes, this same ROM section you're in. You just scroll down the various ROMs and find either the India H93ODS Pie KDZ thread or EU H930 Pie KDZ.
All the KDZ threads I maintain (EU H930, India H930DS, US998, Canada H933, Verizon VS996, T-Mobile H932) also have accompanying TWRP-flashable zips, created by talented Devs who donate their time and effort.
Besides visually finding the KDZ/TWRP flashable zip threads, there's links in the Section 9 of the WTF INSTRUCTIONS. (See screenshot.)
Here's the link to the India Pie H930 KDZ thread:
