In that case, the question is: Is there any recent MM rom? All I've seen are from August 2016 (more or less). I thought they had taken all the sources from CyanogenMod to continue with LineageOS

Just got an unused v500 . What should I do, leave it with Android 4? Or install ASOP 7.1? Whats best for normal usage? Is it fast enough for the newest Android version? Any disadvantages?
I have v500 since past two years, so far AOSP 7.1 and LineageOS official latest nightly are the best , though I prefer Lineage since AOSP 7.1 has some performance issues.

Anyone know if LineageOS will built a ROM for the Lg E975?
Doubt there will be an official build, as the device was already "dead" for quite a while in the Cyanogenmod project.
Unofficially, who knows... nowadays we have less and less people wiling to build for our device, so I'm not holding my breath.
Well, at least we have one properly supported ROM, the NitrogenOS.
I have read a list with the devices that Lineage OS will start to work. All indicates that we will have Lineage OS. Use Translator, its in spanish
Given when Cyanogenmod was at "full swing" we haven't had CM13 neither CM14.1, I wouldn't hold my breath for LOS 14.1...
If anything, we *may* get LOS 12.1, which is where our CM support died.

There has never been an official build of lineageos for this device
There are currently no official builds of lineageos 16 for any device as far as I'm aware as its still a work in progress
Of course anyone can build unofficial versions
Hi. I want to try to build lineage os 17/18 for my old phone. I have env and I already build package for other phone. For Nexus 4 there and only some old lineage os 15 builds. How to prepare lineage os 18 based on lineage os 15? Is it possible or maybe it needs to be done from scratch. Is there any instruction how to do this?
Porting a ROM means there's a similar device with a working LineageOS on it. Which means it's already built, and only small modifications to make it stable for you.
Porting doesn't work the way you described. You can't build Android 12 on top of Android 8, every new major Android update, Google releases a new source code.
Then, manufacturers/developers modify it to their sweets. What you want to do is to build LineageOS 18/17 for an unsupported device. There's a lot of guides online about it. The context matters.
Can you share some links about building lineage os for unsupported devices? Will it help somehow when there are some old versions builds?
