If it detects the same Mediatek device it may be a usb port problem on the phone.

I had no problems.
MiTools worked perfectly.
When my cell phone arrived it was with shop rom.
I activated USB debugging on Mi6 and connected to the computer (Windows 10, x64).
But in my Redmi2, MiTools did not work. I had to use MiFlash.

Hello everyone,
first of all I'd like to apologize if I've posted this to the wrong forum.
I'm running into a bit of an issue while trying to unlock the bootloader of my newly received Mi 9 SE:
During the unlocking process, the Mi Unlock tool throws an error when it reaches 50%:

Device is running MIUI 10.2.5.0.PFBEUXM, I've enabled Developer Options and have turned on "OEM Unlock" and USB Debugging and was successfully added to my Mi Account, I've checked on i.mi.com.
I've also tried multiple versions of Xiaomi's unlock tool but always keep running into the same error.
I'm running the latest update of Windows 10 and have tried rebooting the computer.
Do you guys have any ideas on how I could possibly fix this?
Cheers

did you connect it via usb 3.0 port? if it is, then try to connect it via usb 2.0 port. See if it's working.
If you were using pc, try using laptop (or another pc/laptop) and use usb 2.0 ...
I have this error when unlocking using my pc. When I tried using my sis laptop it's unlocked.
I'll give it a try at work on Monday, I don't have a computer with USB2.0 at home.

Did u use the phone with a sim card inserted and activated the mobile data?
Yes
my problem is that i flashed my RN8P with MIUI 12.0.5.0 manually using mi flash tool, and i accidentally checked on clean_all_lock for more security reasons. This led me to a bricked phone and stuck on the recovery with a message " this miui version can't be installed on this device".
Before flashing i didn't know that i have the chinese version of RN8P and the bootloader was already unlocked by the seller and flashed with a global ROM.
I didn't even know what bootloader is, but it's been a week since this happened and I never stopped searching for a solution. I removed the back cover to do the EDL method then I found that I must have an authorized account to flash it, this where I lost hope and became clueless. Note that my phone is bound to my mi account.
I wish that you can help me.
i'm also facing the same problem, i accidentally choose checked on clean_all_lock. is there any solution for this problem? thanks.

to unlock the bootloader again you need to use the same account that was used by the seller, which there is no way to get it.

ok ill try
older version did the flashing but unfortunately at the end it error not success, and now I cant enter fastboot, mi flash cant detect the device now, but adb can
i can't get the mi flash tool to detect my device no matter what i try. it always says device not connect or whatever.

- Using usb 2.0 port
- Intel laptop
- using mi flash unlock tool 6.5.406.31
