Please help me understand my options. I bricked my Zenfone 2

I'm seriously stressed from thrawling through forums making posts and as of yet I've got no answers, hopefully someone here can help me or discuss my problems.
Yesterday I tried rooting the ZF2 Z00A , Originally a CN 2.20.40.63. It went into bootloop.
At this point ADB does not recognize the phone but fastboot does.
I tried installing a non rooted rom via SD Card but I got a signature verification error.
Now it looks like my only option is to flash a pre-rooted rom via Fastboot as that still recognizes the device. However I cannot find a CN 2.20.40.63 or newer pre rooted rom, I can only find CN 2.20.40.61 ....... am I right in believing that this would not work due to .61 being older than .63? Would it matter if I flashed a WW rom that was .63 or later? Even if it meant the phone was buggy but then allowed me to unroot and install a stock rom I wouldn't mind, I just would like my phone to work again (I only rooted because there was random webpages and apps opening and downloading the whole time).
Please somebody help. Also my brother who is in another country has a rooted CN 2.20.40.63 phone, is there anything he can do?

Cant run most roms after reinstalling stock

My A5 2017 is rooted and is semi working on hades rom 5. Big issue i have been having is when i try to use any other ROM that isnt Hades or stock i cant use cellular and maybe other things as well, I dont know why and its been since I had to reset back to stock which ended up being 8.0 as the only one i could go to. Please help as I want to use Lineage and other Rom's but cant.

Are you trying to downgrade to nougat? In order to do that, you need to install nougat modem and bootloader
I dont know, just trying to run android 7 based rom's

Question

I recently bought a Samsung A300FU with android 6.0.1 wanted to download nougat, but it seems I cannot because my OS has been obtained in a different way, my phone says.
Is there a way that I can get the original version and update like a normal phone? can't root the device and it has knox installed on it also. I'm afraid that I'll do something wrong and that I won't be able to use my phone anymore. Anyone that could help me by any chance?

downgrade 8.0 to 6.0 a520

hi, I'd like to know if there were any way I could revert back to marshmallow without bricking the device. I was thinking about rooting my phone, download the stock a520 6.0 rom zip file and flash it with the recovery menu. First I don't wanna brick it, second I'm not sure I can find some flashable zip file.
I did this with my old Motorola moto g 3 and never had any problems.
do you guys think it'll work and so where I could find those files? also if there's any other safe way to do it share it please!
Thanks in advance!

I don't think it will work because Samsung has anti rollback in its phones which prevents the bootloader from being downgraded. However, a system and boot flash might work. I don't know about the modem though.
Samsung is one of the few brands that implement it.
I don't really see the use though as it is quite possible to bootloop and if done incorrectly, could result in a hard brick.

that is what I thought... I think the only real solution would be to find a custom Rom of the Stock 6.0 but untouched. It would not need the bootloader to be downgraded would it?
I really like samsung phones but I hate the way the treat costumers, it feels like being fooled.
Thank you for your reply though !

When I bought my Moto g 2015 it was very fast and that was surprising. All the updates started to drain the battery and make the device work slower . I tried almost all the custom Rom possible and after flashing back the stock 5.1 out of the box version I have to admit they wanted the device to become slow with all the updates.
Now when I received my A5 it was already running nougat. I think the best you can get from your phone is with the outbox version because everything is planned to be running perfectly so people buy it. For me even though it brings new features and stuff, update wont get you device any better.
So ya that's the reason I'd like to downgrade.

You could extract the system and boot out of the stock firmware, but I don't know if it's worth the risk.

Motorola got in trouble for that. Others too. It's illegal now, so you should leave out that theory.
I've had only positive experiences with my last 5 smartphones. Upgrading does precisely that...makes it better. An OEM would not produce an upgrade without testing it. That's why we had a better experience with Nougat and even better with Oreo.
What do you do differently with Oreo than you did with Nougat?

Anyway to change Boot Screen?

I would like to change the bootscreen to something else like play the game "Mario" or change it to something cool? I know past Android phones from older Android versions I was able to do that after I unlocked bootloader and achieved root. Though I'm having difficulties doing it on my moto g fast (boost mobile)
On another note I'm also having trouble flashing custom roms, I end up in a boot loop and end up having to flash the stock firmware back onto the phone to get it back up and running. I Have Twrp recovery and Magisk. I am rooted it says.
