No . I don`t , my story with this phone is long, first time the phone has android 4.0.1 , i wanted to upgrade it to 4.3 OTA i just followed the instruction on YouTube how to upgrade
once the operation of upgrading is finished the phone rebooted and no signal nothing appear on lcd no vibration so i thought after searching that phone is hard bricked
what i did then looking for brick image to make phone up and then flash another one , i found my self in trouble unlocked phone became locked i lost everything on phone
baseband and IMEi is null and unknown ,
i bought the phone as unlocked sim phone and now nothing success with me
what i should do to fix this problem?
If you can get into download mode, flash a custom recovery to your phone and then flash an old cm11 ROM to see if you can get the phone booted.
which one to use

How to lock bootloader a week after flashing china 9.12.6.0

It seems a china hardware phone will not be able to flash to a global rom with a locked bootloader, i had a fake rom 9.6.4.0 so i flashed a china stable rom by fastboot to 9.6.11.0 and it updated to 9.6.12.0, i might have got 2 numbers in the wrong place. I was waiting for the official global rom with a higher number to be released, because my update has an anti-rollback. When i flashed to the china rom, i selected clean all, as that was the advice at the time, so i have an unlocked bootloader.
So my question is, can i lock the bootloader now, without flashing the phone again, If i can not lock the bootloader by flashing a official global rom, which it seems at this time, i can not, i may as well keep my stable china rom for good, but i would like to have the bootloader locked. is their any simple way of doing this, by not having to re flash it.
In fastboot run:
Code:
fastboot oem lock
So i put the phone in fastboot mode, power button and volume down button together until it goes to fastboot mode, is that correct, if it is, how do you get to the screen to enter fastboot oem lock.
Correct.
Open Command prompt in Windows or Terminal in Linux.
Search Google for more info...
will be watching this thread. i just ordered china version global rom, not sure what rom i will get / lock / unlock BL.
should arrive next week.
i have to lock my BL because people said banking apps will not work otherwise. and i need banking apps
but i also like flashing and installing custom rom
long time ago i remember i re-flash my galaxy note 3 almost every month with different roms. and no problem running banking apps. why we cant now? is it because of that safety net thingie?

Questions about downgrade and bootloader locks

Hi,
My A2 Lite updated to Pie and I didn't like some changes but my main problem is I can't connect to my home wifi. I tried all kind of tricks and nothing so I want to downgrade to Oreo. Is my first time doing this and I read a lot so I think I can do it but got some questions.
With miflash clean all and clean all and lock. If I set the bootloader unlock I can flash any rom but if I lock I can have ota updates? Even if I change the modem.img from pie to avoid the 2 sim problem? Or can't be possible have the ota option for the future.
Thanks

CustomROM possible without root and (re)locked bootloader?

Hi,
Long story short:
is it possible to install customROM without root and to (re)lock the bootloader, and are there experiences with a similar situation where Apps check for closed bootloader and root (and stop working if detected)?
=> Goal: activate WiFi-Calling as my provider tuned down 2G-transmitpower due to the 5G-advances (without having enough 3G-coverage to make calls on UMTS-net)... BUT: I'm using two banks; one uses a PhotoTAN-App, that stops working if it detects an open Bootloader, the other Bank-App checks for Root & open Bootloader, and likewise stops working if detected. I have no idea about the PhotoTAN and Magisk, but the 2nd bank confirmed they checked rooted devices with Magisk, and that it does not work with it....
Thus, if I go for a CustomROM, I need to be sure that I can run it unrooted and with a locked bootloader....
Is there a way to install a CustomROM on the 5X with (re)locked bootloader and without root?
(or, if not possible: is there a way I can activate WiFi-Calling on StockROM if said one does not have the Carrier-Entitlements?)
Thanks for the help
@theunlucky: you don't need root to flash a custom ROM, only an unlocked bootloader. IMO you can lock it after flashing ROM.

Are you sure about locking the bootloader after flashing a CustomROM? I've read several threads now, and it seems a locked BL only works with StockROM?
Not sure, therefore IMO IMO a locked BL prevents flashing CustomROM, not running. Try. If it doesn't work, you unlock BL again (triggers factory reset). In the worst case you've to flash latest firmware for a clean base..

Firstly, you shouldn't re-lock your device while you are running something "custom" on it.
And in case you switched from Chinese to Global, no matter that it is a stock one, neither.
You should completely return to stock and re-lock device either through fastboot commands or using the option "Flash all and lock" through Mi Flash tool.
technically it is possible to relock the bl on some phones and some roms (graphene os for example)
the process is ... let's say complicated. and risky.
as subway said, no do not try to relock if you want to run a custom rom.
Thanx Dear,
i found the problem, its in Magisk, i disable it and every thing goes normal
