Custom launcher like Nova, Lawnchair, Hyperion, etc.. May also be some Pixel Launcher or other mods that do it.

I would think, in that case, only magisk would solve your issue. Try hidemyapplist. I cant vouch for it working, Ive never tried it on A13. Only A12 and A11

If you have a rooted phone, try to use "Translucent Style" module for xposed.

Ok. So it's strange, i don't have. Maybe it's coming from the fact that i have nova launcher ?

Yes. If you have a different launcher running, viper theme won't change the icons. Only the stock launchers icons will change. ?
Ok, so i have to remove nova launcher to move to stock launcher. If i do that, i loose cube effect for my dock? Can i get it later or it will be definitly loose ?

Yes, you'll lose it.
Or, just use icon themes from play store and change Nova's icons.
I move to stock launcher and i said goodby to my cube effect. Thanks for your help, i find in my venom tweak how to change icone.
So before LinOS I had a old ROM for my Samsung galaxy s4(can't remember the name) that I could without a launcher what so ever change my boot animation and icon via my settings. But it doesn't seems to be there in LinOS I wanted to change my icon with LinOS (latest nightly ) but I can't without using a launcher. that bother me a little bit, since I want to stay with all the perks and fluidity of LinOS.
Yes I know I can change my icon individually (I read that on a forums) but it take times and not really practical for a "on the go" type of guy. Anyone know if I didn't look up correctly ? Thank you!

There probably is a way which uses root and changes the icons. Not sure if there is an app developed for it.

I think you canĀ“t do it without a launcher.
You can get good results with a simple launcher like Nova, for example.

You'll have to word that a little better. What icons do you mean? The Quick Settings? The Launcer app icons? The settings menu icons?

Try installing a 3rd party launcher like Lawnchair 2 or Nova Launcher. Nova in particular has settings for just about everything, even how icons look and if they can be adaptive or not. You can even change all of the icons' shapes.

To change recent apps, you'll need lawnchair, or you can do a substratum overlay

I was wrong about lawnchair. Hyperion won't do it either.
I know gravija and 19 will let you theme the system and recent icons.

I think you mean the navigation bar? Any theme will let you change the navigation bar. And there are quite a few custom navigation bar apps on xda labs.
If you don't like substratum, you can try Swift installer as well

Actually aosip, and descendant work very well on this phone. You can change icons in descendant to whatever you want. Just need an icon pack

In /system/priv-app you can delete the "quickstep" launcher, and replace it with the stock Launcher3 from Oreo. This will give you the ability to change the icon shapes, and give you back the older recents menu too.
Just make a folder in /system/priv-app named Launcher3 and set permissions on the folder to, 0755 or rwxr-xr-x. Then put the APK in the attachments into that folder, and set permissions for the app to, 0644 or rw-r--r--. Then delete the quickstep launcher and reboot.
Edit: This also works on GSIs too.

Well, that's the stock launcher, so it isn't a custom launcher. And you can change the icons to whatever shape you want by long pressing the home screen.
Hey there,
Wanted to know if is it possible to flash icon pack somehow without any 3rd party launcher, with my stock pixel launcher with root through Magisk/TWRP/Xposed?
Thank you very much.

Yep! Just install the app from the below link. From there, download whatever icon packs you like, then apply it in the app. Note that not all packs will actually apply. Some will only work on a few apps, some not at all. If you pay for a pack you can get a refund if it doesn't work though.
It also has a built in system tuner.
