Question HDR photos issue - Vivo X80 Pro

Hello everybody. Im using this phone for about 2 weeks now and I have notice there are problems taking HDR photos. Almost every time taking photos while driving it looks like this:

Sometimes there are also same issues in portrait mode (look at water on right).
When HDR is turned off everything is ok.

Delete the data from the camera app in the app settings from the system.
If that doesn't help reset the phone to factory settings.
Is it still the phone exchange. Then it is a hardware defect that may come from the ISP that calculates the images.

It is possible that something has been damaged after puting phone into water for few seconds? (10 cm for 10-15 seconds). It is ip68 certified.

it has an IP certification that says it can be submerged in water up to 1m for 30 minutes.
If something broke, this is a warranty case.

Deleting app data doesnt help. Still same issue. Sometimes also sky is burned (all photos taken in same time and same direction).

So this is not only my unit fault. Another user send me photos he take while driving and he have same issue. Can you check yours phones?

You guy should understand how HDR works in real life. It takes multiple photos at the same scene and stacks them up together to get a better result compared to a single shot. Therefore, while you are driving at hight speed, the phone cannot take multiple photos at the same scene anymore, and the result when stacking up those photos is what you got with your pics above.

I know how HDR works. I have been using many phones and this one is my first that make crap with HDR on while driving. I have take plenty photos when driving with other phones and never have almost every photo with that issues. Maybe 1/50 was with bugs but not every one.
This is the worst i can find fron OP 7T

Portrait mode
(Yes i know first is not focus correctly)
These were not dynamic (fast moving) shots but still.

Another one with HDR problem. Static photo, not in move. I takie photos. One on normal mode and secondein night mode. Night mode is ok but normal have bugs.

Disabling autofocus

Hello all,
I have an issue with the autofocus on my brand new phone. The camera work fine in video but when I take au picture, the app freeze and I have to reboot the phone. I've noticed that when i switch the setting of the camera app to infinite (i.e. no autofocus) it work well.
so the issue definitively comes from the autofocus.
I cannot bring back the camera to the shop now (I'm away for several weeks), so i was wondering if there is a possibility to disable globally the autofocus, allowing me to use the apps which do not have this setup in their parameters.
By the way, if you have any link to give which may help me to solve my problem myself, i would be grateful.
I have little hope though.... Just in case,, it may be worthwhile to know that, at the beginning, this problem happened only after charging, and was resolved after letting the phone switch off for several hours.

Slow picture taking? Edit: Fixed!

When I take a photo on my N3, set to 13MP and auto mode, every time after I snap a photo I have to wait 2-3 seconds while it's "Processing" before it let's me take another photo. This has to be some kind of bug right? Burst mode is never going to work if it has to spend so much time processing a photo before shooting the next one. Anyone else have this issue?
Edit: Seems the slowness is due to using the Smart Stabilization option. Turning that off fixed the issue.

Issues with focusing the camera

I just got this phone 2 weeks ago (this Wednesday) and I noticed this issue right from the start. But then it started working fine and now it's not working again tonight.
Basically when I open the camera app, it will not focus on anything other than extremely up close. No matter where I tap, it's all blurry outside of like 3-4 inches from the camera.
I did some searching and found a link on androidcentral but nothing stating for sure if this issue has been fully resolved now. Clearly it hasn't for mine. Has anyone experienced this and found an actual fix or do I need to swap this out with the hope that it doesn't happen again? Any advice or info would be greatly appreciated.
BTW, I searched for 'focus' so if there's a thread already about this that I didn't see, please direct me there and close this up!
Thanks!
My gf got a note 4 (white) abt a week ago. And she coulnbt take pictures at all initially because it wouldnt focus on anything. (Never tried macro type pic to see if would focus on something close)
She ended up handing it to me to figure out and after i changed picture modes. And switched back to auto then the issue resolved itself and hasnt returned.
Fwiw my note 4 (black, purchased 10-16-14) never had this issue.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using XDA Free mobile app
Oddly enough I think I'm having the same issue. Just got my Note 4 a few days ago, and I've found that when I launch the camera app, it either doesn't focus at all, or takes extra long to get into focus. I can see the little target image progress as it tries to focus, but it just keeps trying and fails. Every once in a while though, it will correctly focus. So the camera certainly is capable of properly focusing, but I'm not sure if its a software thing (my first conclusion) or a hardware thing (probably not).
same here
same issue i noticed if you put your hand up to the lense then slowly remove it and point it somewhere in the distance it will focus
im gonna try that solution though thank you!
Same issue hereon my wife's phone. Noticed it from day 1 but wasn't able to go back to the att store until day 17 after purchase. They would not budge on swapping the device since I was past 14 days. My only option is a warranty replacement, but I will hold out for now to see if a software update fixes the issue as I would rather not have a refurbished device. A quick shake of the device and it focuses. If you exit the camera app after it initially focuses and go back to the app it works fine. It only seems to be an issue when the camera app is not used for a while.
Its weird because I use another camera app (like the Google Camera one) and it will focus just fine, but the default Samsung-installed Camera app will sometimes fail to focus or sometimes will work just fine. So it seems like it may be a software issue.

Camera stuter/lag

Hi!...really need some help!
Had phone for 1 year. Generally no performance issues. Over the last month or so, the camera app has started to play up.
1. It takes ages to load
2. The picture stuters/freezes when moving phone in pictures or videos causing delays in snapping and/or jumps in recordings
3. It can no longer focus on things at near distance.
I did a factory restore and think it was okay right after (didn't test it properly). Have since reinstalled most of the same apps and went to use camera today and same issue.
I installed adobe camera app and it works phone so don't think it's a hardware issue. Seems more like something is interfering or maybe a bad update.
Don't want to have to use a seperate app for videos too. Saw some others mention similar issues in the forum though not exactly the same and no resolution (no pun intended). Anyone experienced this and fixed it?

Question Inverted images from Pixel 6 Pro cameras

All of the images taken today shows inverted (upside down).
I am not even able to troubleshoot as I even went as far as factory resetting the device. The camera app losing it was only observed today but then again, I have not take any photos in a few days, all the previous ones were great.
Anyone else facing this issue? I have contacted support but they don't seem to have an answer, so I am guessing this is n ew issue.
Some posts on Reddit are saying the accelerometer and or gyroscope sensors are broken.
Every photo taken on pixel 6 is upside down. - Google Photos Community
The last comment from your linked Community thread
"Bought Pixel 6 today, taken photos was fine.
The phone fell to the floor from a small height, after which the accelerometer stuck — the photos are turned over after shooting and autorotation in applications does not work.
After that I found this post...
So I put a protective case on the phone, hit the back of the chair on the opposite side of the buttons, not very hard, but not weakly — and it worked. Accelerometer now fine, photos properly rotated."
