Yes, it's possible. Just follow the guide in guides section, even though it says for a specific android version, that's not true, it works on all the versions.

You don't need to. See here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1347377 or here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1347371 (depending on firmware version).

All the info you need should be available here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1318735.
So bar the T-Mobile variant of the G3. We don't have an unlocked bootloader on any other models. Now i know we have bump which works but its not what i mean.
I found this - https://www.change.org/p/lg-electro...lock-bootloader-in-lg-phones?lang=en-GB#share
And some stuff on the AT&T Forums but no where with updated information and whether or not its still being worked on.

Current state: locked. No, LG won't unlock it. Never.

How did you downgraded the device? Any recommended guide?
I think we will just have to wait for the official SEA bootloader unlock, I'm in the same situation as you. GODDAMMIT.

In terms of custom ROMs no. Your version of the phone can't be bootloader unlocked. Only the European version (g710em) can be unlocked.

Yeah but nothing is officially supported and roms require android 9. Once a phone gets updated to android 9 it loses fastboot.
There isnt a dev with ulm.. i have stopped any development myself since i dont have a computer to compile or even work with via ssh for remote
I see five different methods and I really don't know wich one could be better now in 2021. Tried some of them but I'm looking for something more easy than (if that exists):

You need to crossflash to android 8 kdz to use fastboot without problems using my guide to unlock bootloader. Once your unlock you can crossflash to other kdz. Android 8 kdz link is in my guide.

My method is more specific to G710VM Verizon. Could work on others. Really up to you.
