I struggled to find how to change network type, as I don't need 5g and I'd prefair less radiation and more battery to, so yeah if your phone does not display "preferred network type" then open up your dialler and copy this in *#*#4636#*#*, and change it to your preferred network type, it actually works, now I'm not sure if this only works with my network EE, but give it a try or look up your own there should be threads on some forums

I just flashed a new rom and when I went into phone settings, the at&t bands are not showing. I like to set my phone to pick up only on those bands instead of auto. What is the registry hack to display all available bands? See picture to see what I mean. See how the 850/1900 GSM and UMTS bands are not showing? I still am able to get 3G on at&t.

I'm trying to perform what almost all 4G toggle apps do: retrieve "Mobile Networks" screen from Settings. Do you guys know which activity is, so I can call it from the "Activity Launcher" or "Nova Launcher"?

Come on! There must be someone that have this level of knowledge. I tried different approaches, but I can't get any of these...
So I'm from Australia and just go this phone. I'm currently with Vrigin and I can't seem to connect to the internet.
I've checked/changed the VPN settings that Virgin have on their website.
The thing is when I change the settings to what's on their website the "4G" does not show up and nothing loads. When I set it to default the "4G" shows up but still nothing loads.

Good night, I have a problem, my computer is a Note 10 plus sprint but I used it with telcel, after the update I stop recognizing the sim and it does not activate the sim and this appears to me, and then it no longer gives a signal or anything I already tried looking for manual networks and it says error and does not change to gsm it stays in cdma I already did a Hard Reset and nothing, someone could help me

The guy at the AT&T Store told me that since the 7T detects 2G & 3G, it'll automatically prefer those networks. Even after trying to manually register the network operator as AT&T 4G and trying to the "LTE Only" (pictured below) selection, I'm still stuck without and cell service. Any ideas?
