lol. no. rosie rotation is to enable a landscape mode for rosie. the 270 rotation is believe is worked into the regular rotation toggle in android. to my understanding it is a 270 rotation or no rotation option only.
yes, you can just turn off rotation in the settings, but you cant go back to 180, idk why you would want to anyway.

Because some of us prefer 170 rotation, like when i'm laying on the bed and i want it portrait i just roll on my right side. I actually switched roms because of this.
Same. I HATE 270 rotation, main reason im avoiding fresh.
This really should be an option for the next

Main problem is MMS.. Sometimes i recieve images that have been taken rotated clockwise.. So when i rotate the phone clockwise to right-side-up the image, it just rotates the image to bottom.. So i have to turn the phone upside down to actually see what the image is... Techincally it is the same thing if the camera was rotated counter-clockwise, but i can deal with it in 1 direction.. it is annoying when i have to deal with it in 2 directions...
I agree, the 270 degree rotation is less than optimal for my use. The annoying part for me is when I'm carring the phone in my hand in portrait mode, perpendicular to the ground, and as I set it down it auto rotates because I did not place it down perfectly straight, and thinks I'm trying to rotate.
Would love the option to set it standard.
is there any way to get this option in another rom, I want the 270 rotation. And would there be any way for a 360 degree rotation, which seems like it would be ridiculous, but sometimes is quite useful.
Is there any way to disable camera orientation on the EVO? I'm currently running a Sense ROM (Calkulins 1.7.7) but would like to do this for AOSP as well since sometimes I run CM.
Basically, I always want my camera in portrait mode. However, just the slightest tilt of my phone rotates my camera - annoying. Regardless if screen orientation is on or off, the camera always rotates even at the smallest degree of rotation..
Thanks!
Personally, I don't think you can stop it from rotating. You wana search in themes and apps, MAYBE a mod there, but unlikely, I think. Sorry man.
Is there any way to change this? It defaults to landscape, and portrait Apps display "sideways" instead of showing up in portrait on the screen like other devices....
anyone? its pretty annoying to have portrait apps appear sideways on a TV...
Hey guys,
I like to lock my screen orientation to portrait for mostly everything. Games and landscape apps override this which is fine.
The youtube app for some reason is stuck in portrait (it used to switch easily in CM9 on my old i9000m).
So I have to disable orientation lock for videos.
Is there anyway to force certain apps to disregard the orientation lock? I know CM9 has it, but I'm quite happy with the touchwiz features and don't want to switch.
I also want to know about this. My GS1 does it with orientation locked. Wish I could here too

I am still trying to figure out how to play in full screen portrait mode - somewhat like the full screen zoom option native in IOS -
Thought I could do anything I wanted the phone to do with Android.. lol maybe not -
Anyone knows how to fix orientation sensor? On my tablet autorotate works not right. It rotates screen in vertical, when device lies horizontally and vice versa.
I'm not sure if this helps as I don't know your Android version...
But in the hopes that it's helpful to you (and to others), Android 12 added new rotate features which many find non intuitive, such as the rotate working differently under various circumstances.
How to use Android 12’s clever new auto-rotate system
Note: If you're not on Android 12, then these changes aren't the problem.
