Possible for Honor 8 pro to get honor v9 firmware?

Hi fellas , I was wondering is that possible for Honor 8 pro to get honor v9 firmware which is the same phone in china ?

Is there any provided method or guide to do so? In China honor V9 is more functional than the international honor 8 pro.

Well you can re-brand your honor 8 pro to V9 firmware but you'll loss the google play since china V9 don't use google play. I saw someone in honor 8 thread able to use the 3D camera before but not working after certain firmware update. I personally don't care about the 3D camera function since the effect only will display in honor gallery. Once you send the photo to others, it's only a 2D photo.

I think is not worth the risk since the google isnt working any more, but thanks any way.

Actually im not looking for 3D camera, but 60fps in gaming. Because for some game in china V9 are able to get 60fps but not the international honor 8 pro version.

The game actually read the phone model in order to get that kind of option. Do you know any app that can cheat the game with changing the model of phone ?

I think changing the firmware to china v9 firmware and get the google app to work is the way to go maybe.

No I'm in the US I register for the beta and now this is the second update for the beta. It looks like a security patch and better battery life that's it.
