Official miui retail store - like real store listed on miui website.
Official miui repair center - also listed on their website.
Miui also sells them online , I'm lazy now so try searching for xiaomi web store and find charger in there - the 33W charger kit with brick + cable like 30$
Everything else don't even bother. I'm skeptical whether even official repair centers will sell you original charger or some knockoff of which there are plenty online.
You can't buy from anywhere else if you want original

[Q] Third party charger in a brand new HTC One X box? Is that normal?

Title says it all.
I've purchased the device about a week ago and I noticed it just now(after searching the web about the scrolling issue, which apparently caused by using a 3rd party charger).
Did someone else encounter this? Is that normal? If not, What should I do?
No it isn't. May of been imported from China (Hong Kong) for cheap, and sold to you and many others. Just google 'eCell', the fraudulent company selling on Ebay. Anyway, as they use different plugs they either give you no charge or one like you have. Any Chinese writing anywhere?
Okay I did some more Google research apparently a lot of retailers here(Israel) put a samsung charger for some reason.

All over the box and on some of the stuff inside. I didn't think it's strange because HTC is a Chinese company after all.

Sorry to tell you but Htc is not chinese

If it's all over the box, i think you've been had. Call HTC customer services, give them the imei and they'll tell you where it's from. Alternatively check your cid. Is it htc__622? Get cid checker from the store.
http://play.google.com/store/search?q=pname:org.tritonsoft.cidgetter
Install and check what ro.cid is.
@Op,
In the xda hox general section everything is possible.

It's a Taiwanese company, so the Chinese writing didn't come off as weird to me.
Anyway switching the HOX chargers seems like a common practice here. The only place that sells original HTC chargers is the official importer. I think I'll just buy it from them.
So in your country it's normal, 'your own question answered'. Well done!

Hong Kong has "British socket" and electronics are not much if any cheaper here. They're cheap in Shenzhen.
If you want to purchase on ebay, I recommend rose528400, as that is where I purchased my phone from. As far as I know, the phone is near flawless. Now that I checked it, the international version has become surprisingly cheap. Not trying to advertise here, thanks.

That is wrong. The touch screen bug is caused by a dirty power connection. My house power connection would work fine and the touch screen works very well but at my work (which is a very old building) I have tons of touch screen bugs because of the dirty power connection.

afaik its not the charger that filters, should be the phone (i base this on the fact my dhd doesn't have problems with both htc chargers), whereas the hox has problems with both .
after repair (and update to 2.17), the problem went away, but since i flashed viperx and faux kernel, the bloody problem came back! it hardly does it with my original charger, but really bad with the dhd charger (both original htc ones)

Would a OnePlus 3 USB Type-C OTG adapter work for OnePlus 2?

Been trying to get the damn OTG thing to work, but no luck. After a lot of searching around XDA forums, among other places, came to the realisation that only the official OnePlus MicroUSB to Type-C adapter supports OTG. Too bad they don't sell them anymore and I can't find any elsewhere online.
They do sell a newer version for the OP3 on their online store and I was wondering if that would work too. I ask because I've already got a thousand cables and adapters I've tried that didn't work, so I don't wanna drop any more cash on this.
Tried to contact OP support and they didn't really seem to understand what I wanted and just said it would work "because it's USB Type-C". Yeah, so were all the other damn cables I bought.
TL;DR: Would a OnePlus 3 USB Type-C OTG adapter work for OnePlus 2?
UPDATE: Original Xiaomi USB Type-C to Micro USB Adapter works.

Hi!
My bro had a 1+2, he bought an USB cable Type-C OTH from OnePlus store... he had tried to connect an USB several times, but it doesn't work :'(
OK awesome, so basically stay the f*** away from OP in the future is the lesson here.
Hi there, in my fourth purchase of OTG have purchased a fully compatabile one for my OP2. I am finally able to connect with out any issues. I have purchased it from Indian ebay for ₹68/- only. But works like a champ. The model or company name is MX in caps written on the OTG which is black in colour.
usb otg
When i bought my OnePlus 2 i purchased the microusb otg cable and the microusb to type c adapter and have no issues with it working. it could be a a possible compatibility issue or maybe the rom you're on doesn't support otg.
Hello. I'm from India too. I'm not finding any product branded as MX. I would really appreciate if you can share the link form where you bought it.
Thanks in advance

Little update, in case anyone else is looking for OTG support the Original Xiaomi USB Type-C to Micro USB Adapter works. They're a *bleep* to find in Europe, but you can get them on tinydeal (ships from China)
https://www.tinydeal.com/original-xiaomi-usb-type-to-micro-usb-adapter-p-156512.html
Came to the UK in less than 2 weeks with the cheapest shipping option (also free shipping available, but would've taken more than 2 weeks).
Thanksyou for letting me know. I am Happy that it is worked for you.

I have it, it works, but it is only more annoying since that part is large and straight under the phone
..
I use this with no issue as I can use any MicroUSB otg adapters with it and can charge the phone via MicroUSB cables in a pinch

lol! Can't you just buy a chromecast for that??
Ah, this is just oversea Chinese TaoBao site.
The UGreen Adapter is well sold in China here, with . And indeed,, I didn't buy it.
But I have read enough reviews so let's me show you the conclusion.
This adapter is worth buying. Of more than 2000+ Good reviews only one or two complain with bad display. I think this is normal quality. Most just said it did show a very low delay and very convenient for watching TV , playing Games or making a PPT show.
Anyway, if I really needed this adapter maybe for business or some other reason, I would buy it.
Here is the Chinese site, wish there is no redirect when you visit. https://detail.tmall.com/item.htm?spm=a230r.1.14.19.59906aa0WNaBhI&id=541131418539&ns=1&abbucket=2
AFAIK the OnePlus 5T doesn't support HDMI out on the USB-C port.

So, this website - https://www.electronicsforce.com/index.php?main_page=index - has a really good deal on the Mate 20 X and I was going to purchase from them. Just wondered if anyone knew anything about the site before I did?

There's nothing that can beat Aliexpress price. I got my 2 Units AL-00 directly from Official Huawei Store on Aliexpress back in January 2019. Both of them came Factory Sealed. Beat this !
Sealed Phone nowdays are very rare, unless you request this. Most of the 3rd party sellers Open the BOX to ensure ,,everything is working ".
That's the best joke to sell a used phone, refurbished unit or just a returned customer unit. Be aware of Open Box phone...
