Hello, I would like to ask if anyone has attempted to root their Samsung S20 and have come across this issue.
I have rooted a Samsung S8 with no issues, alongside an M62, but after rooting and granting SU acces to Gameguardian, the Speedhack function is broken, attempting to turn it on just causes the game to stutter extremely bad, and setting the game to higher speeds makes it go faster momentarily, but stutters as if it were running in one frame every few seconds
With all other phones, even 10/15x speed was possible smoothly.
I would appreciate if anyone had an explanation for this, and if it is fixable.

I've had this S3 for over a year now and I've been trying almost all new roms and tried overclocking but none seems to help the lag. I know it's there because my S2 is smoother in everything other than internet browser speed. I can play same game in full detail smoothly on S2 but I have lags even with low detail in S3. Any normal use seems to be okay but here are the annoying issues and I'm hoping someone has advice. Below are the list of issues that occur in every ROM I've tried.
- BT constantly drops connection and sometimes reboots phone. (I've tried turning off PBAP. This does not help. I've also tried raising min Mhz)
- Some games lag a lot. Reinstall/download does not help. Sometimes turning off WiFi helps with lag. Receiving SMS alert during game causes massive lag
I've been trying to install 4.3 knoxless version but gets stuck in Samsung screen so I gave that up. I might try CM11 next although I didn't have good luck with CM builds (seems to worsen the issue).
Any advise before I put this on CL?

If you're getting the same issues on various roms then it is definitely a problem with the phone.

Excuse me but let me get straight to the point: I really need a solution. I upgraded my Tab 3 from JB 4.1.2 to KitKat 4.4.2 yesterday, and one and the sole problem for me is now I'm always experiencing lag in a certain rhythm game. I'm not sure about overall device performance as I don't pay much heed and for me no extreme differences apparent for me to notice. Even if it's slower on KitKat 4.4.2, I wouldn't really mind it. But the problem is, the only thing I care is the one experiencing problem from the OS upgrade.
The game is called School Idol Festival. You can see the example of the gameplay in youtube. (can't post any link since this is a new account)
The problem is now the game lag heavily causing the notes to move shakily, especially when there are more notes appearing on screen at the same time. It's like when you move your cursor when the pc is lag heavily, the cursor would look like it's shaking a lot while on the move. It's disturbing my timing on playing the game. Previously on JB 4.1.2, the notes rarely move so shakily like that even in far more intense songs. I have tried to turn off many stock apps. My internal storage is still 8 GBs free. I already tried to close all other applications before launching the game. I never limit my CPU performance. I already tried turning off power saving. Already tried to tick force GPU rendering in Dev option. Already tried to play after I cooled down my Tab 3. But none helps.
Is there any solution for me, preferably without the need of rooting and without any good risk of breaking my device?

There's an article reported by Android Authority about freezing problems twisted to opening Contacts, but that's not the issue I'm having here. I just want to share some minor issues I've encountered in my Note 8 after a month and a half of obtaining the best mobile of 2017.
1. Launching the camera app from lock screen. I don't know why it's doing it all of a sudden now, but when I open it from there, the camera opens, but then it restarts itself a second or so later as if I unlocking the phone. I narrowed it down to seeing it's something related to the Bluetooth Smart Lock function for doing that, so disabling that won't have that problem again. Don't know why it comes down to being this since I actually don't want to wear out double pressing my power button.
2. I've been addicted to a music rhythm game and I notice some incredibly minor lag hiccups that appear when I just open the game after a while. It's not an insufferable problem unlike the lags I experienced in the S7 Edge, but it's just a very minor issue I would like to point out.
Any other issues you guys run into with performance and UI experiences and have any solutions?

get a samsung rep at a service center to reflash firmware, or ask carrier for exchange, or contact samsung and file a RMA repair, or get desperate and use ODIN to flash firmware, or simply do a FDR master reset and setup as NEW DEVICE without restoration of backups.

I have had the Galaxy S20 Ultra for a few months now, and it's buggy as hell. Chrome frequently doesn't work, and will often have to be force stopped. I'm using SwiftKey as my default keyboard, and often times when I'm working on typing something out, the predictive text ribbon will stay shaking. When i have a video from YouTube or Twitch playing in the popoit player, it will glitch or straight up stop playing when i try go back into the app. Now I'm noticing that videos i play on YouTube are randomly freezing. What is going on with my phone?

Which variant, SD or exynos?

I've had Galaxy S devices for years. The only qualms were screenburn on the S7 and S8 but going forward since the S9 that's been resolved. The S20 seems to have more issues besides heat and battery issues with Exynos variants. The camera problems are known as well but I can't recall previous Galaxy's with so many software conflicts. Not sure if it's certain updates or UI's but Sammy needs to get it's act together, especially at today's pricing, it's inexcusable! FYI - S20 sales are way down compared to S9's and S10's. Covid-19 has a role in the declining numbers but reading the comments here you see a good number of users are looking for better options beyond Galaxy devices.
If i didn't still owe $1200 on it, i would totally trade it in for a Note 20

As a test to make sure it's not the apps at fault, switch from the ones causing problems temporarily to alternative.
Chrome → Samsung Internet
YouTube → YouTube Vanced
SwiftKey → GBoard
If it still does it with those, factory reset but do not restore any backups, start fresh and test it like that, if it still does it then I'd see about getting it replaced, make sure your screen is clean and if you are using a 3rd party screen protector take it off as that could be causing phantom screen touches
Have had my S20U Exy for a few weeks now and besides the over processed IQ from camera I've had no issues with Chrome or anything else, phone has been rock solid, no glitches or hands at all, around 8 hrs SoT and 2 to 3 days between charges.

So I play a lot of games on my phone, whether it's an emulator, xCloud, Minecraft, or something else, I usually prefer to connect my device to my TV to more comfortably play. However recently I've been running into a bug on my OnePlus 9 Pro. (T-Mobile Version unfortunately). Here is where I'm at, every time I plug my phone into a TV, it freezes and crashes. Just like that. It worked for a while and then randomly stopped (I hadn't downloaded anything new or updated anything yet). I did download the newest firmware and still experienced the crash. I have switched the resolution, adjusted the frame rate, turned off Desktop Mode, and even did a factory reset. Still crashing at this point. Has anyone experienced this and figured out a cause or a fix? I am already on my second device from T-Mobile for this issue (exact same experience) so any help is appreciated.
