Is there a way to inspect element in browsers such as chrome or firefox on android?
I Googled your question. I'm not sure, but it looks like some of the search results might be helpful, particularly the search result at the lambdatest website.
There's an app for this, but it sucks. Definitely not worth the time, at least that was my experience.
The Kiwi Browser Chromium based browser support the Developer tools (inspect element).

Whats you favorite web browser? i have Dolphin, xscope, firefox and skyfire installed
That's overkill. lol I'm very happy with the Dolphin HD browser. I love the tabs, the tools, and the add-ons. I haven't even tried any other browser because I've been so happy with this one.
I use Stock Browser on Sense. I stopped using it because of the reflow crap, but someone on this board released a flashable version of the browser with that disabled, so now im loving it!
And sometimes I use the MIUI browser too, just because it has full screen support. Stock browser does too, but whenever loading different pages, it pulls the notification bar down while the MIUI browser keeps all of that up until you press the menu button.
I always preferred stock, but im diggin Firefox.
I read a review of Skyfire 2.0 that said it was the best browser out as far speed and proper page rendering. I have not tried it yet myself. Also Opera mobile 10.1 for android is supposed to be released tomorrow(9th). Ask me again on Wednesday and I will let you know then which is my favorite. Right now I am leaning towards Skyfire 2.x as it is supposed to allow you to view embedded video that the other browsers won't play.
Just tried Firefox, and I can't stand it. I like using Chrome and Firefox for Windows, but they got some work to do on that. Loading websites, pinchzoom, and ease of use are horrible.
I love the stock browser, and the MIUI Charming browser is growing on me. I like it more than anything at this point.
Skyfire FTW. Best browser hands down in my opinion. zooming and moving around through pages is much more fluent than Dolphin or Stock for that manner.. Mozilla is just garbage. Also skyfires quick access to the feature letting you choose between "desktop, android, or iphone" viewing modes makes browsing quicker and easier
my thoughts
I have tried skyfire, fennec, dolphin and dolphin HD, and opera. wanted to try xscope but im not paying for it no way! out of all of them i found the stock browser to work the best and opera came in second it was faster than all the other 3 party browsers and had nice easy to use tabs but after installing myn's i never re-downloaded it. happy with stock browser.
I do like the opera browser but one thing that bothered me is I had problems downloading from sites that were setup like megaupload, fileserve, rapidshare. These sites would be very buggy and acted weird not letting me download the files I was trying to get (roms, and movies). Usually the counter you had to wait for would bug out or the link would never appear/work. So until that is fixed I've been sticking with Stock.
Has anyone managed to get the stock ICS browser working on 2.3?
tried ICS for a while, and loved the system but had to give it up for the lack of app support so far. Really missing the integrated approach of the browser, and how it synced bookmarks etc.
I know about ChromeMarks but not really the same. Done a search and found some topics of people trying on different devices but wondering if anybody got it on S2?
Failing that, what browser do you recommend as best for syncing between mobile and desktop?
I use Opera on my desktop, and Opera Mobile on my phone, and I use the build on "Opera Link" to sync bookmarks it works well.
But I suppose you use Google Chrome on your desktop so Opera Mobile isn't an option for you.
fair comment as I do use chrome. however may start looking at other options seen as four years in and google still not bothered with this feature.
Any suggestions, please.
Dolphin HD
Chrome
Boat
Well this comes down to personal preference but how you want to view webpages will affect what browser you might choose. My personal OPINION is that the Chrome browser is overrated and a memory hog to top it off. The stock browser is OK in certain aspects but if you want to download files from webpages you might run in to issues running it "as is". One benefit of the stock browser though is the ability to render your web viewing in black and white.
If you don't mind simplistic web viewing (mobile view) than Opera Mini is a very good contender.
My one suggestion would be just find one YOU like by trying them out. Different people have different opinions so whatever works best for you. I use different browsers for different internet tasks ex: downloading files, writing on forums, watching videos etc.
Example browsers you could try: Dolphin, Opera, Firefox, Skyfire, Boat, UC, Amazon Silk, Chrome,
Yeah it just depends on your personal preference. I have tried a few browsers I like. Opera, Maxthon, and Chrome are pretty good. Personally my favorite is Dolphin. If you install Dolphin Browser + Dolphin Jetpack it makes browsing super fast!

Thanks for the input, I have been looking for new browsers as well. I have only tried Chrome and it works pretty well, will need to give Dophin a try.
Thank You all for responding, will try some of the browsers suggested.
I was just pondering this subject myself. :silly:
I've found the tab syncing in chrome very handy, other than that it seems over-rated I like the stock browser's look and it has a cool full screen mode with a pretty nifty quick controls option that replaces the address bar and controls with a side swipe thumb menu. sadly I haven't found a good option for flash compatibility.
Chrome is the best browser in my opinion. I really love the minimal/clean look that transitions well between the mobile and desktop versions of Chrome. And it's faster that all the other browsers I've tried. It does use a bit more RAM than other browsers but 512 mb is more than enough to multitask with it.
Hello friends. Just discovered this amazing browser, by far the most customizable browser for WP. Even more customizable than any android browser I've come across. If you search "browsers" in the marketplace it doesn't even show up!
It allows you to have your own homepage, fullscreen mode, 3 different UA modes and an exit button on the homepage or several other locations - quicker than closing all tabs then pressing the back button. Speed seems on a par with IE9, quicker on some sites. There's a trial version that unfortunately doesn't let you save bookmarks, but gives you a feel of the browser. The paid version is 79 pence.
I am only posting this thread because the app is so obscure - I only heard about this browser when somebody mentioned it on a thread on WP Central, and considering the work that has gone into this browser it deserves more attention I believe. Works great on my unlocked Titan.
Give it a go!
I googled and see that text reflow was removed in webkit of android etc etc...But HTC browsers still support it. So I am sure its not google who removed it. So is it at all possible to enable it in our Samsung Native Browser?
I am sure our great developers can definitely achieve it.
Maybe, but if its not a popular feature maybe not
Dolphin, chrome and the stock browser have it already?
