Hi, I've been trying to downgrade to Android 11 from OneUI 4.1 and it doesn't work.
Odin fails after idfw and I've tried everything, from different cables, PCs, etc.
Any way to downgrade?
Thanks!

I've read up in a lot of places about my issue of downgrading from 4.4.2 to 4.3. I'm looking to downgrade back to 4.3 because rooting 4.4.2 isn't available yet for my model but for 4.3 it is. Also flash doesn't seem to work in 4.4.2 either. It seems that KNOX has something to do with preventing you flashing older Samsung official versions of Android or something. I tried flashing 4.3 via Odin 3.07 without sucess, but mysteriously the 4.1.1 rom I got from Stockroms.net works but it appears as custom instead of "Samsung Offical". Anyways looking for away to unlock KNOX to allow downgrades.
PS My note 2 is a Canadian Note 2 (SGH-i317M) from Bell(BMC) I posted here under AT&T Due the similar version number and no Bell Note 2 forum.
Hello,
I have a Galaxy A5 2016 (SM-A510F, CSC:ITV) which i recently upgraded from Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow to Nougat (with the latest upgrade). However, my phone runs a bit slower with Nougat and I don't like the new user interface, so I decided to downgrade back to Marshmallow. The problem is while I have downloaded the lateset 6.0.1 firmware for my device, Odin fails (SW_REV_CHECK_FAIL). I have tried removing the .bin files from the tar file and flash it that way, but it still failed with the same error code.
Is there something I can do to downgrade it? I don't currently mind tripping Knox because the phone is out of warranty.
Thank you a lot
So my S20 U.S. factory unlocked from Samsung had to be factory reset for warranty work. Before I reset the phone, it had UI 2.5 with Android 11 on it. Now, after reset it has UI 2.5 and Android 10.. When I go to check for updates in software update, it tells me to update to UI 3.0 and Android 11.. I originally upgraded to android 11 on 2.5 before they released official UI 3.0 and I like UI 2.5 for various reasons and don't want to upgrade to that, but I do want Android 11 back on my phone. How can I accomplish that? There has to be a way, no? Maybe through flashing?
I used my unlocked S20 on Tmobile network, so it loaded the Tmo firmware on there once I put my sim card in and those were the upgrades that I was getting throughout the time.
Thanks in advance!
Hello,
I tried to downgrade from G981U1UEU1DUB7 to G981U1UEU1CTKJ (both Android 11).
After odin it failed to get pass bootloader. It gave me the option of factory reset. I didn't want to lose my settings.
Flashing back to DUB7 revived the phone. I really want to get back to CTKJ because Samsung disabled third party fast chargers.
Any idea guys?

Back everything up and wipe data/factory reset when it boots to stock recovery and it'll boot..if not you're stuck i suppose
Were you ever able to downgrade from DUB7? I'm currently on DUB7 on my S20 and want to downgrade to a firmware with UI 3.0 so I can root my phone.

Did you find a way??
I am currently on UI 2.5 and want to upgrade to 3.0 but want to find the correct firmware that is rootable..
I had used ccswe to disable software updates and keep my US t-mobile note 10+ on android 10, but my niece was messing with my phone and I have no idea what she did except that she triggered the update (handed the phone back to me with the blue update running screen already at 46%).
Is there any way to downgrade? I'm familiar with Odin and flashing firmware, or was a couple years ago anyway. But I've been searching the forums here (is it just me or did the search get less useful?) and can't find a link to download the firmware to downgrade.
Um no since usually the kernel changes in Samsung phones from a10 to a11
If you try to flash an older kernel your phone will brick.
You must see if the kernel has been changed. If not then it is possible. If it is, I'm not sure if you can downgrade.
