About 2 months ago I started getting phantom touches on my screen, always on the right side. In the app Dotty, I could create the touches by moving my finger near the right edge until a circle would appear and start barely moving up and down really fast. This would be the primary touch point and other touch points would show on the screen in Dotty but in any other program all secondary touches were ignored(keyboard, homescreen). This created the illusion of the touchscreen simply not working. To fix it I had to sleep/wake the phone a couple times until it went away. This issue would come and go and seem to be really bad for a day then there wouldn't be a problem for a week. As of now, the phantom touch point problem seems to have gone away. However, the right 1/4" of the screen no longer registers touch. This mainly only affects the P key but is quite annoying. The strip that doesn't work runs from x:287-320(edge) in Dotty. I've flashed, re-flashed several roms and can't seem to fix the problem. Any ideas? Is this a digitizer gone bad? Should I contact HTC/is it covered by the warranty?
Does anyone know of a way to adjust the display position? I recently noticed that I have a black edge along the top and right side of my screen about 1mm - 1.5mm thick. It looks as if the display has shifted down and left.
The touch sensors work correctly, pressing where expected. nothing seems to disappear off screen, except for one line of text in ROM Toolbox's menu.
Display density is at 240 default, R800i, stock SE ROM, 2.3.4.
Anyone else have this problem, or can suggest a fix?

when i touch in the middle left side of the screen i see a liquid type spot on the top left side, why is that? is it that i play games too much?

I have a problem that whenever i try to swipe from outside the screen, it doesn't detect my swipe, for ex. whenever i try to pull the notification panel down it doesn't register any touch.
Now the next problem which i believe it's related to the first one, is the buttons doesn't light up, i found out that the Hall-sensor registers there's an ice view cover on, so when i placed a magnetic close to the hall sensor the buttons worked !
and after couple hours the light gone again and the hall-sensor is stuck again.
any ideas about the first and the second issues ?

Anyone familiar with adjusting the screen so that it is centered? Mine is justified too fast right and isn't centered. When i do *#0*# and select "touch" the X on the screen is too far to the right. I can't see the border all the way around. The border is only visible on the left side of the screen not on the right at all.
The screen calibration tool app does NOT work.
I don't see any settings unless there is a hidden phone menu.
Do i need to get another phone?
Even my fingerprint scanner icon isn't centered in the screen.
