I am using a SPRINT TP2 with the cleanup CAB .. One of the things it does is set the bluetooth to battery friendly but good quality... anyway, I have been having an issue where the bluetooth will not hangup when I press the hangup button on the bluetooth device. I found "96k_96000hz_celogeek_bluetooth_improve.cab" in one of the discussions related to my issue and people said it helped with the hangup issue.. I installed it and YES it did solve my issue but NOW my battery seems to drain faster ... I leave bluetooth on on the phone but nut always connected to a device... Could installing this bluetooth fix make the battery drain faster??? is there a FIX?
also, if someone can tell me what setting were changed in the SPRINT cleanup package to adjust the bluetooth setting to battery friendly?
THanks...
Try changing Radio and/or ROM, my battery lasts almost 2 days with medium intensive usage
RADIO?
can I change Radio without hard resetting? what RADIO is recommended for SPRINT for best battery life and reception?
hi,
my gnote2 is new and I have a big issue with it.
I'm running android 4,1,1 all apps are stock.
With data enable everything is ok but with wifi a can clearly see a big battery drain. I read that it could be a router issue so I tried to change my network number I switched from 10 to 1. It fixed the problem !!! BUT unfortunately I switched of the wifi last night and switch it on this morning ... the battery drain re start like before.
Is there a way to solve this big issue ==,
thanks for your help
Hi, i am running cm12.1 with xceletate and I am facing a problem wirh the wifi. In battery usage wifi appears enabled all the time although it is disabled. I am also not using it when I turn gps on. What could be the problem?

Its a bug in lollipop/CM12.1. Lollipop is still has a few bug issues to work out.
It does not happen with CM11 r26 which I'm using. r27 is the latest.
Hi,
to make sure I have a "clean" system, I reset my KK to factory and flashed the full 6.0 image via adb.
Now after doing my peronal settings I experience serious problem with battery drain during sleep ~2%/h related to WiFi.
I tried "keep WiFi on during sleep" at "always", "only when connected" and "never" which makes no difference.
On the battery graph I can see that WiFi is constantly on, allthough it is reported with 2% only.
Only if I switch to flight mode I can see that WiFi is off and the battery drain comes to an expected low level.
I checked with GSam Battery Monitor that there are no wakelocks and in generall it looks like MM just ignores the WiFi setting, still I can't image what uses the WiFi so extensively during sleep. On my Lenovo I have to keep the WiFi active to not get extensive battery drain and still have only 6%/day battery drain in sleep.
Anyone with similar resuts? Hints? Tips?

Hey Guys,
for about a week now I am experiencing a huge battery drain which seems to be caused by Bluetooth (bluedroid_timer).
I got my OP3 since release and never turned off Bluetooth, was activated all day long without any issue and no battery drain. Then suddenly last week I noticed that my battery life went down way faster than before (it was almost 2 days before, then suddenly only about 20hrs if at all).
I checked recently installed apps but none caused that drain. Checking gsam + wakelock detector both say bluedroid_timer keeps the phone awake and is draining battery. As soon as I turn off bluetooth the battery life returns to normal, so for now I just keep it off which is of course not a real solution as I need bluetooth while driving or at home for music...
Was reading through a lot of threads and it seems to be a well known issue, but couldnt find a solution yet.
What I tried so far:
- uninstall all recent apps
- delete system + dalvic cache in recovery
- delete bluetooth data / removed all existing bluetooth connections
- some other stuff that didnt work...
Anyone knows a fix for this? I would love to prevent doing a fresh flash (or factory reset) and starting from scratch...
Thanks a lot!!
