Hello I've just installed the LinageOS 19.1 nightly release after the set up I opened YouTube and the sound was ok for a couple of seconds and then stopped for a second and then started again , the video was ok just the sound , I opened Spotify again the same problems , I opened TikTok also the same , has anyone else had the same issue and found a solution ?

Just recently I have experienced a strange issue that whenever I record the video, afterward, I get no audio when I play it back.
The mic works flawlessly when I make or receive a call no there's no issue with the mic.
Here's what I've tried so far:
1. Flashing Stock ROM and the LineageOS 14.1 .
2. Changing many camera apps on playstore to record the video.
I have never used a Bluetooth headset with my phone so that also eliminates the possibility.
Can anyone figure this issue out as I am kinda confused whats wrong with this device...

Just to know if anyone else is facing a bad sound using skype on A5 2017. Sound can be clear for a few seconds but I quicly have back a kind of stuttering/very short cuts. As this does not happen using the same version of skype on a Huawei on the same wifi network... it's an issue on my A5... and it was ok until 2-3 weeks ago. I made the test closing all running apps, same thing.

edit: exact same problem on an other A5 2017 (stuttering starts at 14s using skype test)

edit 3: again, no sound problem at all on my Huawei P8 lite 2017...

Seems to be a problem in the awfull v8 skype. Installing latest v7 version works fine on galaxy ...
In Youtube app,in any browser,reddit app, mp3 files and android system sounds (pad tones,ringtone) also startup sound starts after 3 second. for example any video starts playing without any problem but sound starts after 3 seconds. video and audio is not desynced just this 3 second problem.
i have all notifications without sound because of this.

I have recently installed this rom. Really thankful for this community and developer to create this of our Tissot.
I have been facing no audio issues in the rom. you ll get an idea by following details:
Recording a video - Microphone not working
Recording audio - Microphone not working
Voice call - Microphone Working
Video call - Microphone Working
Speakers - Working perfectly
Can anyone suggest how can I get this fixed?

Hi, I recently upgraded my op3 to 17.1. no audio in videos recorded by various apps. Mic works with other apps, though.
In my phone, the native camera record audio, but the othera apps can't. Help us ?
Same happening to me since Lineage OS 17. My device is Xiaomi Mi6.
I need to restart (which is funny because that doesn't work well either and it get stuck in loading animation, so I need to reinstall the lineage os image every time I need to restart the phone) to be able to have sound in video calls, video recording or audio recording. But after a while it just stops working.

My phone today is suddenly showing major problems after it had been working perfectly the night before - any video played from any source, the chrome browser, youtube app, file manager, shows extreme stuttering playback, with zero audio. It can no longer play audio files from music or podcasts either.
Playing games seems to work fine, as does the audio there. The phone otherwise seems fluid, I haven't changed or messed around with any setttings, the night before everything seemed perfect.

EDIT: Solved - for anyone randomly experiencing the same issue, this Magisk APTX module was the offender, removed it and problem disappeared.
