I'm getting so sick of Samsung. All I want is a watch that can make/take calls away from the phone and has ECG and oximeter. I got a Galaxy Watch 4 LTE but couldn't find a carrier that would activate it. Now I bought the same watch with the required S21 FE. Neither watch nor phone included a charger. I know from previous experience how difficult it is to find the proper fast charger for a Samsung device. What wall charger should I get for these? What about a desktop wireless charger?
I'm also seeing lots of conflicting info about which CPU the S21 FE has. So which is it?
Download CPU Z and you know which CPU you got.
Buy a 25Watt charger.
I have the original Samsung ep-ta800n 25W fast charger (amazon) without problems.
When I leave something to recharge all the night I use an old charger 5V 500 mA that protect more batteries with his slow charge.
So is the S21 using Power Delivery instead of Adaptive Fast Charging?
S21 fe and other recent Samsung use the super fast charging.
A correct 25 watt charger is samsung ep-ta800X where X is various letters (I suppose for different colors, different plug…).
Well I bought a 25W Snug wall charger and get Super fast charging but weird thing is my phone now says it doesnt charge fast charging nor super fast charging... even thou it takes roughly 1h20min to fully charge

charger
The charger looks like an indian version of the one my daughter received with her galaxy s4. White is the colour of her phone and the colour of her charger, it also was 5v at 2A. To my knowledge the charging of the battery within the phone is controlled by the phone and as long as it is supplied with its minimum requirement of 5v. it will charge at whatever current it can within the control of the power management in the phone.
Hope this helps ? I did look at the samsung website in india and they had power units for sale. I dont know where you are ?
Samsung India has 700ma chargers listed..
And do u charge ur note with that one..? Us thr any problem.?
charger
No mine is a 5v 1A samsung charger. I also have an incar charger which is a standard usb charger for any make of phone and that supplies 5v at 1A. I also have a Yiboyaun unit from china which charges just the battery, I have 3 additional batteries I use and charge with this unit from china. I have had this setup for more than a year with no problems.
You can charge N700x with the Note 2 charger (which puts out max 2A). It charges slightly faster than the original Sammy 1A charger/cable. It's perfectly safe because the phone will not take in more current than it's configured.

If it charges faster than 1A its not limiting the input. The note 1 battery is made for 1A chargers. Using 2A will limit the life span of the battery.
I know the phone hasn't hit the streets yet, HOWEVER, does anyone know of any cheap 45W chargers that will be compatible with the Note 10+?? I know probably any 45W charger would do, but are any better than the others?
The is the one I was looking at...

I have one that i just got. But its a multi voltage one. Goes up to 15v.
I just dont know if it will do the super fast charging or jist fast charging.
I will find out when the phone comes
i need a 45w charging power bank.
Does 45W destroy the battery over time?
Personally, i'm looking for a charger with at least two and preferably three 45w+ Type-C PD ports, with a couple of 18w USB-A ports as well.
Anker have the Atom PD4, but it seems to be as rare as rocking horse poop at the moment.
I have the Huawei MateBook X Pro laptop and it has a 65w intelligent charger.
It fast charges my S10+ perfectly so I'm going to try it once I get my Note 10+ before buying a new one.

no.
Before I switched back to the iPhone, this is what I loved about my Note 9, being able to use my 87w Apple MacBook Pro charger to charge my Note.
Is the Samsung official 45w charger that will be coming out soon special in some way to trigger this fast charging mode? Or do any 45w or higher chargers work?
Also, does anybody know if the Note 10+ supports the smart charging logic that Apple has in iOS 13, where it doesn't top off the phone every time (to prolong overall battery health)?
I have a 40W charger from my old huawei mate20 pro however it outputs 10V 4A max which isn't a standard thing. Will the note10+ utilize that kind of rating or will I be stuck with the charger's lower rating which is 18W (9V, 2A).
Edit: Guess no one would actually be able to answer this right now, I'll just have to try it myself when the phone arrives.

As soon as I get my phone I'll try the power adaptater from my dual wireless charger. This is a 45w brick....
Update on the 45w power brick..

Can the 45w Samsung charger ep-ta845 be used for the s21 ultra with absolutely no difference at all compared to the 25w charger ep-ta800? I'm thinking about charging speed, heat, wear etc. It says on the 45w charger that it is compatible with super fast charging Gen 1 (25w) but it also has slightly different pps volt/amp ranges that aren't 100% aligned with those of the 25w charger.
Any knowledge on this here that goes beyond "it says that it works"? I know it will work, but will it be 100% equal to a 25w charger?
You can use it without any problems, but it will charge with a maximum power of 25W

Good to know. I was a bit concerned about the ranges being different but I guess they have it figured out.
Edit:wrong topic
reposted my comment in 3rd party chargers
I got two of these brand new yesterday from my pre-order and they worked yesterday but don't work today. Both phone, different cables, different outlets, different phones and still won't even charge at all. Pretty pissed off that BOTH went out already. Maybe 5 hrs of use.
I would like to know if the OnePlus 5T's charger will be able to charge the S22 or is it better to get the Samsung 45W charger or some other make with the future in mind?
There is also the Samsung Note 8's charger lying around but that seems to be a 15W compared to OnePlu's 20W and not sure the Note 8's charger will work.
All chargers will work. OnePlus' super fast charging won't work since that goes against your typical quick charging spec, but if it'll charge. The Note 8 charger will also work, but will charge at your typical 15w speeds.
Skip Samsung's 45w charger and just get a third party 25w or 30w charger since not even the 45w capable phones charge at 45w consistently and generally throttle down to roughly 30w.
25W charger is all you need. I have the Anker Power Port for my S22 Ultra and it charges from 20% to 100% in 80 minutes. A 45W charger is only slightly faster. Not worth the extra cost.
Im using the charger that came with my A20 to charge my s22 using fast charge. works well when not using the phone.
normally I charge my phone while sleeping. but today I didnt. when I went to bed it was at 95%, when I woke up it was 18%....
Thank you for responding.
I also have a OnePlus 5T 20W charger, wondering if I can use that.

But 20% to 100% in 80 mins is bad, when I'm in a hurry to go out I should have enough charge on my phone but with this 25W charger, it is not possible. So I'm going with a 45W charger because I used Redmi K20 pro with a 33W sonic charger, it charges 0-100% in just 40-45 mins!!!
I have the HyperGear wall charger works great.
Isnt the Samsung S22 (Base one) capped at 25W max capacity. Only 22+ and 22U support 45W charging.
I too upgraded from OnePlus5T, the S22 doesnt charge with it and shows 5 hrs to charge fully and for some reason, the battery was discharging while connected to the 20W OnePlus charger. I dont think its compatible, ideal and safe choice would be to go with 25W charger from samsung for 1299 if you do not have any previously owned ones.
Like the title says. I've tried 3 different charges, all 3 are oem samsung 45w chargers and they all activate super fast charging but about 5 minutes less or so it goes back to regular slow charging. 2 out of the 3 cables are 3rd party cables but are rated for up to 100w charging the third cable is the oem samsung 5A charging cable. I'm getting the same issue on all 3 of them. Is there a setting in missing maybe that's making it go back to slow charging? All 3 of these chargers work fine on my s22 ultra. Any recommendations?
Just get a 25w samsung charger plus samsung cable. Im always getting sfc
No problem here either, using the block and cable from my old Note 20.

Same here, block and cable Note 20 Ultra on ZFold4 works fine
Mine seems to love to drop charging speeds alot
Using battery charging monitor pro and ampere pro
I couldn't get past 5h of sot, installed b.c.m.p to watch what's up, after setting my refresh rates per app, I'm not hitting 7plus hours one charge
My one issue right now is what chargers i have(2 Samsung adaptive chargers) and a few other 25 to 65 watt chargers... It's always dipping and charging slow, the fast chargers will hit 2.8mah but not for long, and it's only pulling 15w for 2.8mah
When it slows it drops to 6w.
I'm getting a new Samsung super fast cord and brick to hopefully fix the charging issue, I have been using a dummy charger that hovers around 1.4 to 1.6mah with much less dipping.
B.c.m.p is a graph that shows me the dips...
any way to solve this?
