i have got redmi note 8 (ginkgo) stuck on fastboot mode. the device didnt get flashed in edl or fastboot then i removed emmc and fixed gpt partitions and installed emmc again.
it will get flash right now but it just turn on with eng firmware and flashing with other stable firmwares like globale,china,indonasia(variant that i have tried to flash them already) makes it brick
what should i do to bring it back to life with a stable rom?
when i checked device imei in imei checker websites the country of device is Papua New Cuinea
any suggestion will be appreciated.

So I took my phone to service centre and they said warrenty voids as u unlocked bootloader
So I thought to lock bootloader via commands as miflash didn't work
So I flashed mi recovery.....:crying:
It gone to bootloop:crying:
Even thought to flash a recovery but bootloader is not recognised by the pc
Flashed ADB drivers...
Please help me

First I think you should flash TWRP of some sort and flash AOSP based custom ROM to at least be able to boot your phone. If that's done then you can lock your bootloader (if you still want to).

did you lock it or not ?
can you vol - and power to enter bunny screen fastboot ?
did you allowed usb debugging on device before bootloop ?
if still unlock with fastboot, try miflash tool with another version, seems that 1 second result is when tool do not know the phone model.
I used miflashsetupbeta
if relock than i guess it becomes very tricky if am not wrong (edl, testpin,...)here link

Hey you can still fix it if it's relocked. Just flash the proper recovery rom for your device.

Or you can try to unlock the bootloader again with Miflash Unlock Tool.
So I just got my Redmi Note 5 today and....it never booted. Bootloop all the way, with locked bootloader. Since I bought it online (from gear best) and there's no Xiaomi Help Center here in Portugal, I really dont want to waste more than a month sending the phone back to warranty...what are my solutionsin this case?
In my point of view, this happened because of Shop wanting to upgrade the rom and then bricking it due to Anti rollback policy...

I need help, i flashed global rom on my Redmi note 5 china version with miflash and didn't see that clean and lock was checked.
My phone refuse to start now because of globlal rom with locked bootloader with the message in recovery mode : this miui version can't be installed on this device.
What can i do? i read i need to flash MIUI china version, but i can't flash it because of the locked bootloader

Welp, sorry mate, there are no help for hardbrick rn (AFAIK), the only solution is visiting your nearest xiaomi service center or use online tool for buck (due to forum rules I can't reveal it)

I wanted to report something strange that happened today
2 weeks ago I buyed the Xiaomi pad 5 (nabu) to replace my mother's one (galaxy tab 3) getting very old anyway
After receiving it and setting it up I discovered that I wasn't able to install Netflix because the bootloader was unlocked
And the ROM installed was the golbal version
So the stuuuuuupid me just relocked the bootloader through fastboot and ended up with a bricked device unable to boot the system and rebooting to on recovery to say that's it can't boot on this miui version
Couldn't flash with mi flashtool can't unlock the bootloader as mi account wasn't binded on the tablet
The only solution I've found is to pay someone with edl authorised account to flash China ROM or unlock bootloader
After trying a bunch of softwares I decided to give up and wait to get payed so I can afford a service to unlock the tablet
Doing so I have let the tablet booted in fastboot (can't find a way to turn it off)
And miraculously today I have found the tablet booted in the system like nothing happend
All data where erased and frp lock was on i've set up the tablet binded mi account and now I have to wait for the 168h cool down to unlock
So was that a bug ? How did the tablet boot into the system with locked bootloader on global ROM ?
And why now it won't boot on system again ?
I think the original ROM was 13.0.5.0
But when it booted it was on version 13.0.3.0
What do you think about it ?

Not sure, but it probably decided it was somehow stuck and automatically rebooted to the other partition.
