too long to wait...
Yes but you must to wait. :/ It's a very stupid unlock method.
Try to find someone working higher up @XiaoMi, get some money ready...
Just kidding, we all would like this to change.

Like the titles says,
Is there any way to speed up the waiting time to unlock my bootloader? Do i really need to wait the 72 hours.....
Its really sad that a company like xiaomi do this, they make great devices but the rom is just not what i want.....
Unfortunately, you have to wait.
there is no idea why they did such a bad event
The wait is something I'm very great full for.
Imagine if your device was stolen with locked bootloader and then the thief was able to unlock and flash custom firmware onto the device to disable the location services like mi locator.
It's definitely more secure to have this wait as it gives people time to locate their device.
Only take wait, on 72 hours has unlock my bootloader yesterday

The wait doesn't prevent thief from flashing stock ROM and unlocking the bootloader. You have no chance to locate the device then.
me 360 hours :')
I applied for unlocking bootloader and after eagerly waited for 720h (30 days), they are saying I have to wait for another 360h, I said ok and after waited for 360h, they are now saying I have to wait for another 360h (15 days)!!!

Yes, or you must have a account where you unlocked a device before. Most of the times you need to wait 720/360 hours or so.

Oh NO i had to unlock for change imei... i dont know anything about redmi phones.. this is very interesting...
Hello guys,
My problem is that I do not want to wait to unlock bootloader 168 hours... I know the easiest way is just to wait, but who knows if after waiting 168 hours it will put more hours. It happened to some users. Also another reason is that if xiaomi's server will be down you will not be able to unlock bootloader anymore so due to the owner has the right to do whatever it wants with the device via software I think this question may fit with some of you.
I know that most of the ways are currently locked and they are not working right now. On the other hand the hours is just a message recieved by the server by JSON in APIRest with a GET so it could be some way to decompile the dlls and bypass the security of checking this validation in the code by altering the methods for example?
Greetings and thanks to everyone!
You're lucky you dont own a Huawei or any other device which could not be unlocked in any way.
Just wait, a week wont kill you.

Well I got my Mi 10T Pro 5G two hours ago. I set myself a reminder next friday at 6pm to install xiaomi.eu Rom as usual when I'm using Xiaomi. In the meantime I'm not really using it as everything will be wiped when unlocking. Even this waiting time is super annoying and I still don't get the reason why but It's worth waiting. Be patient!
It's because sellers would install their ****ty full of malware ROMs and then sell it. That's why it's asking you for a SIM in order to unlock
