Hi, XDA!
i have a problem on my Note 2 SHV-E250S running MawS5-V3 rom with Widzard Kernel for TW
Heres the problem, signal will drop slowly until there is no signal at all, after a few seconds it will go back up again. this happens continuously. this only happened yesterday, i tried to install different roms but no luck, ( havent try MIUI though). i also tried disabling Fast dormancy and DVFS nothing seems to work,
if anyone can help please !
Update: 2
I tried flashing via ODIN latest stock firmware. No luck signal still gradually decreases and then goes back again. anyone out there ~
Signal drops doesnt occur when downloading files or torrenting big files. I think its a software fault and not a hardware one. ill try flasing latest SHV-e250s form sammobile. if anyone is following, that is.
Can you try another sim card ? Maybe your sim is faulty.

Did you find a solution for this? I have similar issues.
Ok, so I've had this phone for a couple of years and I kept running into the same problem: videos not working in Snapchat.
Yesterday I decided to get B709 to see if the problem still persists and it still does.
So now I want to try out another stock firmware to see if it solves the problem (and many other, battery drain etc) and I can't seem to install any UPDATE.APP, it always fails at the VERLIST. I've tried everything I found in these forums, extracting the .app and editing the verlist, but nothing. It doesn't work
Any help guys?
So i've already searched for this problem but i couldn't find anything. This tablet belongs to my grand parents. They only do simple things on this tablet such as solitaire, browse internet or watch the weater. Since 11 days they have a problem with random restarts of the tablet. I don't know if it is related to the battery connector on the mobo but i haven't seen the issue yet because it occurs randomly. I am experienced with installing roms and rooting but couldn't find a way on how to downgrade this tablet to lollipop. Is this a possible hardware failure or do i need to downgrade?
Greetings from the Netherlands.

Ok, i will Factory reset it and then Flash the Stock rom with Odin and post my results when i have time. Thank you.
I have just reinstalled touchwiz via kies 3's firmware upgrade. First time went bad because of the cable. Second time went good and i will be giving the tablet to my grand parents as soon as i can. Will reply when fixed or still occuring.
and if everything fail, check the battery connections
works fine during setup then vanishes and the wifi button doesn't do anything afterwards. is it hardware or software related?
weird thing i noticed is that any wifi related setting, will make the settings crash and not respond...

Hi, today I received the EU update to MIUI 12.5 - 12.5.1.0(RFAEUXM) . However, now my Mi 9 can't connect to wireless networks. I already tried restore the network defaults and then the factory reset without success. Any ideas? The behavior is - I...

edit: seems like i have to unlock the bootloader to install a different rom, will update in a week
Sounds like a major issue , after watching the video, 2 things I would try remove sim reboot then try, of still fails the ROM must be corrupt , I would reinstall/flash sounds like you tried a factory reset so thats what I would do
thank you for your response. I did remove the sim and factory reset but no change. Can I reeinstall without having the phone unlocked? or is that only possible with an unlocked phone and the fastboot thing?
edit: found out how to local update rom, going to that and see how it goes.
edit2: installed a new rom but the issue still persist.

you meant to say you just did a update? you will need unlocked bootloader I do believe but not positive if your going from stock to stock
I installed MIUI 13.0.3 with this method https://c.mi.com/oc/miuidownload/detail?guide=1 but the same problem with the WIFI persist. If it was an software issue it should have fixed it right? so I'm thinking that it might be a hardware issue instead.

alioth_global_images_V13.0.2.0.SKHMIXM_20220314.0000.00_12.0_global: same problem
alioth_eea_global_images_V12.5.8.0.RKHEUXM_20220210.0000.00_11.0_eea: put WiFi settings on static

after a second restart, the wifi is compeltly gone now.
alioth_global_images_V12.5.6.0.RKHMIXM_20220210.0000.00_11.0_global: WiFi didn't work at all
alioth_eea_global_images_V12.5.3.0.RKHEUXM_20210706.0000.00_11.0_eea: WiFi worked for 2 minutes
I don't think i have any more roms to test out so maybe i will try a custom rom xd

Hi. I hope someone can help me with a problem with GPS locking.
I have a Chinese LE2120 that has been imported into the Uk. The phone shipped with the international version of Oxygen OS 11.2.10.10.LE15AA. This is on Android 11 and works perfectly. There are no issues with obtaining good satellite lock when using GNSS even when indoors.
The problems started when I accepted a system upgrade to Android 12. On Android 12 I am unable to get a satellite lock when using GNSS even when outdoors. The phone will sometimes lock onto 1 satellite, but that's about it. Restarting the phone will sometimes allow GNSS to obtain a good lock, but it never lasts long. This issues makes using any navigation/mapping apps impossible.
To date I have tried multiple factory resets and tried all versions of the Android 12 system updates that have been offered right up to C61, but the problem still persists. Downgrading back to Oxygen OS 11.2.10.10.LE15AA fixes the problem so I don't believe it to be hardware related.
OnePlus technical support in the UK are unable to help as my phone is a Chinese import. I have been able to find one other report of this issue on the OnePlus forums, but it was never resolved.
I would be very grateful if anyone who has the LE2120 and has successfully upgraded to Android 12 without GNSS/GPS issues could share their gps.conf file in vendor/etc so that I can compare my version to a known working version to try to determine if it is a config issue. Alternative if anyone has had similar issues and managed to resolve them then I would be keen to know what the fix involves.
For now I am back on Android 11 with no issues, but it would be good to be able to obtain the latest security patches.
Thanks in anticipation, Dave.
Hello
I vave the same problem please how can i back to Android 11
Ôv
Hi.
Sorry to hear that you are having problems after upgrading to OOS12. I never did managed to to GPS/GNSS working reliably on OOS12.
There are a couple of things to try before downgrading to OOS11. First of all you have to know that downgrading to OOS11 will wipe your phone. All data and self installed apps will be gone so please make sure that you have a good backup of anything important!
First thing I would try is to wipe the cache partition of the phone. It may work and it certainly won't do any harm and you won't lose any data. The thing is I'm not sure how relevant the cache partition is on Android 12, but worth a try. Instrustions here ... https://www.hardreset.info/devices/oneplus/oneplus-9-pro/wipe-cache/ Be certain to only wipe the cache partition and NOT the data partition. If this works for you then great and please post back to let me know.
If there are still GPS/GNSS problems then next I would update the phone to OOS13 (Android 13) and see if the problems are resolved. When you are on OOS12 you should automatically get offered the OOS13 update in the System Update menu option. If not then install the Oxygen Updater App from the Play Store and get the OOS13 update from there. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.arjanvlek.oxygenupdater Again, with this option you should not lose any data or apps, but please back anything important up first.
If you still have GPS/GNSS problems then to downgrade to OOS11 please follow these instructions ... https://community.oneplus.com/thread/1534473 Please do remember that this process WILL wipe the phone so backup important data first!
Any problems then please post back here and I'll try to help.
Good luck!
