Instructions:
1 - Just reboot into recovery, do a full wipe (dalvik, cache, system, internal) and flash
2 - Flash the FTF
3 - Boot

If you have some lte/4g problem (without signal) just go to the "more" settings in the config menu under "Wireless & networks", and then click on "Internet settings" (thanks to@kennean for helping me with this stupid problem that was annoying me :highfive

you'll have to downgrade to kitkat via flashtool and install a pre rooted lollipop firmware again

yes, you just need to already have a recovery installed

You did the full wipe? flashed the zip file in recovery then after flash the FTF? 10min booting its not normal, you probably have missed some step, im using this rom and i have just followed exacly this steps on the post

disable magisk... if u want root flash magisk after phone booting...

I would like to know how to install this rom on Mi 8 SE with the Chinese rom? Or do you need to have the bootloader unlocked? As a Xiaomi is making life difficult for anyone who unlocks the bootloader, I am asking if there are any risks of bricking my Mi 8 SE.

Yes,you need to unlock the bootloader to install roms,DO NOT TRY TO FLASH ROMS/RECOVERY WITH A LOCKED BOOTLOADER,YOU CAN BRICK YOUR DEVICE.

[uncheck] root option before download mi-globe & manual flash magisk after boot miui setup wizard.
mi8se can use magisk 16.4
(16.3 can use [internal audio plugin + recme] worked, 16.4 can't)

Hi, i flashed this ROM, but now im stuck on bootloop and can't even get into recovery, only fastboot, i tried fastboot boot recovery.img but that does nothing, it only shuts down my phone. What can i do? please help, thank you

Não da pra fazer nada, está em loop infinito. Bootloader desbloqueado mas não sai disso. Só tela inicial "MI"

The story is: I installed an update via twrp and did not clean the folders covering the old installation. You are now in a loop. Vol Up or low + Power = Fastboot, never twrp recovery. Bootloader unlocked.

yep there's really not that much changes, just ui revamp and ****ty animations plus they messed up the ui size so I had to manually set it to 380 dpi in developer options

Is there a wat to go back to Miui 10? This update is a mess, and I lost the wireless display function.

if they haven't nerf the function of MIUI OTA, then you can downgrade by downloading MIUI 10 ROM then use OTA ota to install it (tap repeatedly on logo from system update to enable installation from local storage)

welp, guess they removed the function to downgrade using OTA, then you can only downgrade by flashing the ROM, and your data won't be safe
edit: by safe I mean, you need to format your internal storage

AFAIK, you can flash ROM with MiFlash even with locked bootloader, at least this works for older device, you need to search in this forum to make sure.

Why are you using the full recovery package? You didn't received the OTA update to MIUI11? It's already released for Global Redmi 7.

The beta tests are over days ago. Android 10 is now finished and with a February patch. It remains only to wait for her to be released, probably next week or early March

(How to make this update.)
1.) Download C.21 EU (3.99 GB) with Oxygen Updater
2.) Edit it with TotalCommander
on your phone or 7zip on your computer.
Inside the zip file: open "payload properties.text"
and change one line from:
oplus_update_engine_verify_disable=0
to:
oplus_update_engine_verify_disable=1
And save it.
3.) After that do C.21 EU update
with a local update application.
- Play Market certified.
- Everything works fine.

Something seem to have broken in C.20. I had to turn on advanced options in Oxygen updater to be able to download both C.21 and now C.33, else it would just show the notification that an update is available but it said Phone is up to date in the app. Turning that option on will always allow you to download the latest version.
Might be worth checking out anyway.

With advanced option dismissed (turned off) I got the update one day later anyhow. But thanks for your tip.
