Question [CLOSED] Which GCam+conf are you using w/ A12? - Xiaomi Poco F3 / Xiaomi Mi 11X / Redmi K40

Question is as simple as it gets.
I could test them all, but maybe your suggestion can save me some time. ;-)
I am not interested into selfies but more in main cameras, especially 1x and macro.
I am currently with PE v12+ 20220527 (FWIM).
Thanks in advance.

Hi @Uqbar,
There's a GCam thread in this section: [GCAM] Perfect GCAM for main camera - less for ultrawide, which may be a better place to ask about this or otherwise find your answer already. To easily find the thread in the future you can click the Orange [Themes / Apps / Mods] Quick Filter at the top of the list of threads in this section.
Thanks,
@roirraW "edor" ehT

Finest Google Camera

After messing around with so many Gcams and trying different configs and settings,
I have finally found one that is simple and perfect. Pretty much every feature is working and it takes lovely photos.

This doesn't have as many settings and toggles as,say tigercam, but it does an excellent job at taking photos and is the gcam I was looking for all along.

[XML] Configs for various GCam mods

Configs for various Google Camera mods for Mi 9/9T/9TPro
Main focus is to get the photo as sharp as possible while keeping noise levels low.

This is not my work. Am just sharing from a Telegram channel MOD EDIT: Link Removed
I recommend that you try BurialSLR b8XF with the modded app provided in the channel.
These are two photos taken with ultrawide camera. One with normal hdr++ and the other with xhdr provided by the app and BurialSLR b8XF xml.
GCam ultrawide has horrible distortion near the edges, any solution to that?

Question Forum Organization

Hey guys, not sure if this is the right way to ask this, but when should we expect this forum to have grouped threads (i.e development and roms in one section, Q&A in another section, etc)? We are starting to build up a pretty good number of custom roms/kernels, and a few of them are getting lost in the pages as other questions and general posts come up.
Thanks Excited to see this community grow so fast so soon.
Hi, for now you can tap the color coded section at the top. IE. Development
I'm not sure of any other changes on the horizon...

I agree with us 100%. We need this so bad. Important questions are getting bumped out of view
@Burt Squirtz Are they important questions or dumb questions or posts about stuff that's been asked before but made a whole new post about? Like how many posts do we need stating that 11.2.7.7 is out? Or questions that simply require a quick Google search that will possibly yield a faster answer rather than waiting for someone to on here to post a response?

There's no way to filter by category in the mobile app (that I can find).

Your probably correct, I don't use the mobile app, but check the mobile app thread for verification...

Question [CLOSED] Current state of Gcam for the Poco F3

I've had the pocophone f1 for a few years and it had amazing gcam compatibility, I've tried a few smartphones since then and I would like to know how's gcam for the poco f3?
Is it stable? Does it drastically improve camera performance? Can we use face retouching on it?
Yes it's stable. Picture quality is not drastically better but Gcam photos are more vibrant and the 'painting' effect of the stock camera is reduced in Gcam. The resolution is limited to 12 megapixels.
If stock camera is 6/10 the Gcam takes it to 7/10. Nothing too drastic.
Don't know about face retouching.
If you're looking for a good camera phone, Poco F3 is not one of them.
