While using the Google charging block with supplied cable the Battery Share function turns on while charging. Is this supposed to happen? It does it with or without adaptive charge on/off or with or without an alarm set.
The Battery Share does turn off once unplugged though. Just wondering if anyone else has seen this...
I'm not using the Google charging block, I rarely if ever use faster charging, I have Adaptive Battery and Adaptive Charging turned on, and my Battery Share is still disabled as I've always had it set.
Hmm, maybe it's the "faster" Google charger and this is their way of not blowing the battery up. It doesn't do it on any other charger and obviously not while charging wirelessly.

I had the same problem, it ended up being a cable problem.

So Ive been having an issue with galaxy nexus charging, like sometimes this thing charges so slowly that it doesn't actually even charge it just maintains the same charge than before i plugged it in, if it does go up it's often about 1% every 5 minutes or more unless I'm fully not using it and it is just sleeping..
anybody else experiencing this? charging it in my car with the lower voltage has no chance at all of raising the % unless my phone is fully left alone for a lot of time.
Are you talking about using the AC adapter that it comes with or USB? USB puts out 500mA - the AC adapter puts out twice that.

CNA 1.6 + franco milestone2 kernel .
i was 15% when i plugged it in over night, then 9hs later on charge its 90% !!
it had happened before, not sure how i resolved it.. now its back the issue :S
enable fast usb charging mode (franco.kernel) and try charging through usb ..... how long your battery last once its recharged ....
I have had this problem in all of the 5 or 6 roms I have tried. It charges fine but only when screen is off. If I turn the screen on the charging stops..... sort of.... sometimes it comes back on but then off again after a few seconds. If it is in fact charging and just not charging it.... it doesn't seem this way but maybe believable. Anything I should try/change or just the way it is. The good thing is that I only use this at night for a couple hours but on long trips it would be nice to plug it into a car charger of some type and charge and use at the same time. Thanks in advance.

What type of charger are you using? The original kindle charger or something else?
Reason i ask is that the kindle requires more than the "average" amperage charger to charge properly.
Also, have you checked your settings option? Go into settings and to the battery option. See if it's indicating charging there.
Lastly, I have noticed that if my kindle fire is about 50% I can use almost any charger to charge it. If it dips below that percent, I need to use the original factory charger.

I use the original and another charger and the same thing happens. This is at any percentage.
Seems as though as long as I am on the usb wall charger I can charge and use at the same time but no other charging methods will allow that.

HI can anyone tell me if there is any way to resolve this. I think is has started since doing the upgrade to Android 10 earlier this week.
I normally put my phone onto the wireless charger before going to bed and I have noticed recently that when I grab it in the morning the battery percentage is sitting around the 90% mark. I initially thought the charger was not able to charge to 100% but on further examination I see that it indeed charged to 100% after I placed it on the charger and then the charging stopped and the phone ran on battery until I removed it in the morning.
I confirmed this this morning by replacing it on the charger and watching it charge (like watching paint dry ). The charger light was blue while charging, when the phone hit 100% the charger light turned to green but after about 30s it completely switched off and so too did the indication on the lock screen that a charger is connected. Removing and reseating the phone started charging again.
It definitely looks to be software related as I did not have this problem last week. I just wanted to ask if anyone here has noticed this and knows of any workaround?
For the record I am running fast wireless charging with the samsung wireless charger that came with my wifes S8, that charger works perfectly with my older Note8. I have also tried switching to normal wireless charging speed with no success.

Unplug the charger from its power source and plug it in again, causing it to 'reboot'. Let us know the results. Note, there is an option to set the wireless charging to NOT be fast during certain hours of the day. I set mine so it charges slowly while I am sleeping - to put less stress on the battery. Your charger may be a little old as well if you got it with a note 8 or S8 - ?

IMO this is a good feature to stop the wireless charger cooking your battery.
Maybe turn down your AOD brightness or something, to use 10% within a couple of hours of being idle is pretty high. Maybe turning off fast wireless charging would extend the charge time so it finishes nearer to when you wake up could help too.
Thanks for the feedback however it does sound like workarounds for an issue that should not be present (apart from rebooting the charger which I will try when I get home).
For me wireless charging should act just like wired charging in that when it reaches 100% the phone should essentially run off the charger now and not use battery at all. Every other phone with wireless charging that I have had worked that way, this is just plain stupid.
Willhemmens its not a couple hours, looking at the battery graph if I go to bed at 10pm and put the phone on the charger it pretty much hits 100% around 11:30 and then is at 90% at 7am, so it is 10% over 7 hours which is ok in my books, but reality is that during this time the phone has another source of power that it can and should use. It did before I applied the Android 10 update.
I have had this issue every now and again, and I found that rebooting it takes care of the issue.
An update. This morning I tried my wife's wireless charger and when the phone reaches 100% it continues to show the charge icon. Put my wife's note 8 into the wireless charger and it exhibited my problem.
So it looks like this is a problem with the wireless charger and not the phone.
Thanks for the answers guys I am of to try buy a new wireless charger
edit - New charger solved the problem.
As the title mention, once the P6P achieves 60% on the pixel stand 2, charging becomes intermittent. There are no issues with charging speed as it's able to reach as high as 28W. I tried removing the phone, restarting the phone, changing charging speed preference, changing the USB cord, unplugging/replugging the charger, with no difference.
When I place my Pixel 4xl on the stand, no issues reaching 80%, my assigned charging limit. I'm not sure if it's software or hardware issue with my Pixel 6 Pro. Can anyone provide suggestions how to resolve the issue? Thanks
EDIT: It appears that Morgrain was correct, the issue disappears once I disabled ACC module. Will reach out to dev about the issue. Thanks Morgrain.
Do you have the adaptive charging setting on? If so try turning it off.
Is it heat? My P6P will charge until it gets warm then stops charging. It's really annoying as on my car holder wireless charger it hardly ever charges. This is the only phone I've had this happen to but it's to do with overheating.

The phone is not warm. It's cool to touch plus the stand has a fan to prevent it from overheating.

Did you tinker with the charging limit on your P6 aswell (in the past)? Maybe it's AccuBattery/whatever app with a similar feature set that might run in the background, preventing your phone to charge fully. You might want to deactivate/deinstall all those apps to see if one is the culprit.
I can say from personal experience (got the P6 Pro and the Stand 2) that both work (at least for me) without issue, the phone charged to 100% no problem. Of course that still leaves hardware or software issues that might be the cause of your issue.

I use Advanced Charging Controller to stop charging at 80%. I don't mess with the voltage or current. My pixel 4xl operate under the same condition, limiting the charge to 80%.
The next time I recharge my phone I will disable the module to see if it makes a difference. Thanks for the suggestion.
Hello
I have noticed my A52s 5G if left overnight wont start quick charging when i plug in the stock charger. Only if i start browsing the internet, restart phone or do something else to consume power will it begin quick charging. I have tried changing charger and cable, changing power outlet, turning off battery saving mode, factory reset, clearing cache and data in the USBSettings system app but i cant find a solution. I have only two more things to try: change battery and charging port. The problem started with android 12 and i upgraded to 13 but it didnt fix the problem. I have been using the phone for 8 months and this issue started about a week ago.

If you leave it on charge overnight, it won’t fast charge. It will charge slowly because there is plenty of time available to fully charge the phone.
Have you tried charging it in the morning? Does it fast charge?
Thats my problem. It will not fast charge in the morning after being unused for several hours.

I had the same issue.
If your device is still under warranty, go to your dealer and request changing USB port.
Change cable
Test another cable
There is a high probability of the cable. Please be sure to use a valid and reliable cable for testing to determine your problem !
I found out if i open a battery measurer app like 'Ampere' and then connect charger it would quick charge immediately.
This morning i tried quick charging without opening the app and it worked as it should!
Seems like the app fixed my quick charge issue somehow.
