Question Is there a A12 ROM with Oos camera preinstalled? - OnePlus 9 Pro

Currently using nameless os with systemless derplauncher (Pretty good combo imo)and LMC8.4 gcam... everything works exept for the 60 fps video on main sensor. So as the title says i' m looking for a rom with the oxygen os camera ported

OOS stock camera is not ported to custom ROM's.

No. There are those attempting to port the official camera to custom ROMs, which has been going on for some time, but nothing has come to fruition.
Apparently, it has all sorts of different dependencies which are hard to untangle. I think the chances of getting a working version are slim.

Oxygen OS Camera - which custom rom?

Hey!
is it true that the only (custom) rom with perfectly working Oxygen OS Camera App is freedom OS?
I would like to try a new rom like RR but want to make sure the camera is working as best as possible.
Cheers,
Brt

it is true. but for me, camera quality on other roms is still good enough
freedom os is not really a proper custom rom, it's just oxygen os with some tweaks and an aroma installer
I use Snapshot release of the official CM13 with http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/themes/port-oxygenos-stock-camera-cm-t3451721
You might give it a try
every ROM based on OxygenOS (like FreedomOS) will have camera performance/quality equivalent to OxygenOS.
every other ROM will have decreased camera performance/quality, which can be improved to a certain extent by flashing the ported OxygenOS camera
Thanks guys!
I think I´m going to stick with OxygenOS based Roms then

Best custom Rom?

Hi all,
Thinking of dipping my toe in the water with a custom rom. I'm still on stock H815v20L or something and whilst P is apparently being released I thought I'd check out the alternatives.. Unless P is out, rootable and stable?
Any recommendations for a custom Rom with Nougat 7.1+ pkease?
Any to avoid?
Cheers,
H

I think there is only 3 Nougat roms which are LinageOS/AOSP based which are being activily developed for LG g4. Resurrection Remix, Linage OS and Dirty Unicorns. I personaly use Resurrection Remix, more stable build for my taste for stable daily driver, DU probably also pretty stable but Linage OS releases are pretty much nightlys.
Only thing with these roms that camera performance is pretty bad to stock, doesnt matter what camera application you use. You can get pretty decent pictures with really good sun/day light and maybe small color editing but the noise and grain from like google camera is terrible in darker photos.
Nougat actually doesnt bring anything new for me, I personaly flashed RR and got theme engine on to get different settings menu cuz I hate the blue theme on lg stock.
If you got TWRP and unlocked bootloader , just flash and try
I use LineageOS on a daily use since mid May. I prefer not to update the ROM every week but every month.
So far, LOS is very stable. I change the camera for the Google Camera and works properly for now.
But as Diddymies says, flash and try

Camera on custom ROMs?

I am new to op3 and haven't unlocked my bootloader and i just need to know how is the camera on custom ROMs?is it upto stock?
Most custom roms today have photo quality almost equal to stock, as many have ported the OOS camera, polished the in built snapdragon camera (Sultan's Lineage, definitely worth a try), or a custom camera HAL (AOSPA/Paranoid Android)

Should I try Custom Rom ?

I have always used custom roms on my Samsung and other phones.. But on my 5T , I have stayed on Stock rom.. I like the rom as it is,..
But....
I cant stop wonder if I should try one of the OREO roms here,,.. Just to see if things can get even better than on stock..
If i wanna try out a OREO rom... What rom shoul I try... ?? I need one as close to stock as possible.
Try... The camera kind of sucks tho... plus you will face some bugs here and there. Like... If your not into taking pictures and videos go for it, Codename Phoenix nice rom.
Yea, until the OOS camera somehow makes it into custom ROMs, I'm stuck on OOS ROMs.
Why is there a difference between OOS camera and custom rom cameras?
I am open to a new rom, but a great camera/video is mandatory. Are there any non-Oreo ROMs for OP5T that have a better camera, or at least just as good?
I generally do not shift to custom ROMs until the Stock ROMs keep getting updates
Custom ROMs are generally free from bloatware with some extra UI enhancements (using substratum). So, if you aren't happy with the stock or you don't like the UI, then only shift to other ROMs
you get faster help and bugs are resolved faster in custom ROMs
If you just want Oreo, then you can flash the Beta Builds of OxygenOS.

Question I love Arrow OS but miss the selfie panorama. Any suggestions?

The only thing that I miss about the stock OS is the camera app. Is there a similar one that isn't the gcam?
Alternatively is there a pre debloated version of the stock?

Yeah. There's MIUI EU. A debloated and optimized version of stock MIUI
I don't want to push you away from ArrowOS, because it's a nice and simple AOSP ROM, but there are other AOSP ROMs which *do* have a almost fully functional MIUI Cam. Check the Global Poco F3 TG Group-chat, which posts various ROMs.
The problem is, there hasn't been a working Magisk Module for most AOSP v13 ROMs. Has to be baked into the ROM, for some technical reasons I guess..
