I have a 491 MB update available but it gives me an error asking me to reboot. I restart the phone and the error continues.

Hi - I continually receive this error when trying to download applications: "An unexpected error has occurred in CRCinAU.exe" When I choose Details on the error, I get a list of errors starting with "CRCinAU.exe NotSupportedException at System.Net.WebRequest.Create....."
I have tried to use the updater with a couple of different CRC ROM versions, including 13 and 14.1 and I get the same results. I have also tried selecting different applications from the list singly and in combination with the same result.
I am running a Hermes100 (Cingular 8525) with HardSPL.
I get the error regardless of whether I am trying to access Device Update via WiFi or ActiveSync.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks,
austinsmartie

Done. Thx.
Dear All!
I have reported already that I have some problems with my phone to install new apps and to update certain others. First of all, I set back the command installLocation to "0" - this has apparently helped to install new apps. However, this did not solve the update issue. Apps which have been shifted to the SD card need to be moved back to the internal storage before an update can be led successfully. Today, for the first time, I got a failure notice: "Installation failure -18". Does this information help in order to resolve the issue? Any ideas?
Kind regards,
Glumardok
Market installation problems
I am also having market installation problems I am receiving the following error when trying to install apps "Installation unsuccessful"
I have done a hard reset and installed most of my previous apps but when I try to load new apps I get the "Installation Unsuccessful error"
I have also tried many soft restarts with little success
Can anyone tell me why this is happening
Hey guys,
i know you won´t like to hear that question, but I am trying to fix that issue for 2 days now but nothing works.
At first, I don´t know too much about all that stuff, but I tried to flash another ROM on my GT540 anyway. Obviously that didn´t work out to good.
The last ROM i flashed on my phone was V20B_00.kdz. I also reset it numerous times. I tried to use different usernames to log in to my google account at the phone. However, when I start the phone I get the fault
"System UIDs Inconsistent: UIDs on the system are inconsistent, you need to wipe your data partition or your device will be unstable. >> I´m feeling lucky"
When I click "I´m feeling lucky" I get the next fault
"Sorry! The application Market (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. >> Force close"
I get the second fault every time I try to start the Market. A market update didn´t work. I installed an alternative Market, still get the same fault. When I try to download the apps at my Laptop and put it on my SD card of the phone to install it, I get the fault
"Parse Error. There is a problem parsing the package. >> OK"
I tried to install an App to fix that first fault. I think it was ROM_Manager_5.0.0.1. But I get that Parse fault.
I might have changed the memory space for the system with one ROM that I had flashed to the phone. I am not sure about it. I have seen that this might be an issue for some system apps when the system partition would be too small.
I also updated my phone with LG Mobile Support Tool. So I flashed it, reset it, updated it, and now have no idea what do to, as I am not the biggest expert in that.
Help would be great. Thank you.
I succesfully rooted MM but I cannot get rid of the "Your device has failed verification and may not work propperly" warning screen when booting, is there a .img file I missed flashing?
Another reason not to install MM !
As it said in the rooting guide you used, it will do that. And just ignore. Its the price we pay to be early adopters.
When you modify some system files in stock MM like rooting or unlocking, that warning message will appear each time you boot your phone. It's normal, just ignore it
Its nothing to worry about, it's the new bootloader's security warning feature. didn't you vist http://g.co/abh its self explanatory if you changed the system software yourself, then you have nothing to worry about.
is there any way to remove this advertising ?
It seems this is the only message I found across google search for my device Asus Zoom ZX551ML.
Just installed a modified ROM and getting the same message.
Device verification failed on boot.. Everything is stable and working fine.
Hi I tried to install few treble roms and every time I flash it it boots, but says "your device was corupted, contact your device manufacturer" or something like that and after that it says "system ui has stopped" this message can't go off.
Only rom that worked for me was android P pixelexperience. All other oreo-based roms does not work.
Any idea how to fix it? (fastboot -w does not work, it causes bootloop for me)
