I just bought my Poco F3 2 months ago and instilled PE+ 2 weeks ago. But recently, It drains 30~40% of the battery overnight and I have no idea why. I've turned off AOD and do not have apps or programs running in the background. Although I've not enabled the battery saving mode. Still, it shouldn't drain that much better since it's a new phone. And I cannot find any youtube video talking about this particular issue. Please help me if anyone knows how to fix this issue. Thanks for your listening.
From my experience it's a kernel issue.
If you used the stock kernel , which is no where except in the stock rom, overnight drain will be like 4%
I used stock rom with custom kernel , and the result is 20% overnight drain.
So finally i had to stick with stock rom with magsik only.

Before flashing a custom rom i had no problems with my p2 at all. Last week I installed the lineage 14.1 rom and now suddenly the bluetooth function drains my battery a crazy amount. It can go up to 88% of the total battery usage, i think on the stock rom it was about 5 or 10%. I searched everywhere but couldn't find a fix for me. Any help?

I don't know the sot exactly. But it has been a big difference since then. I used to charge my phone every 3 days and now i have to charge it almost every day. It has become a pretty big inconvenience for me
hi
i have a MI5s For almost 2 years?? and since some weeks ago my phone start to drain really fast like in 5 minutes 10% or more already drained. i was on lineage 15.1. and go back for the global version and the problem persists.
then i ordered a new battery but infortunately it has the same problem. i even installed the new developer version 8.11.15 and install again the newest version of lineage. i notice the aproximation sensor was not working and i removed it. and the fingerprint not working too. using keys on screen.
any solution for this?
best regards
Try flash to latest miui 10 global beta. Im on beta 10 8.10.25 and the battery life is really impressive compared to previous stock rom.

Go back to 7.0 firmware, reboot to system then flash oreo firmware again.
This above, or you might actually have an App installed which is causing this problem. Check in the settings -> battery -> power usage if there is some app sucking up all the power.

the problem was 2 things:
- the battery. when they replace the screen they damage the battery. the battery had a small cut that was coming out some smelly gas.
- the aproximation sensor was dead. maybe caught sweat from running.
replace the battery and remove the sensor appear to fix the drain. now my phone after charge at night, at the end of next day it still at 40%. if i am going to see a episode online with phone data and not wifi it consume 20% for 40min episode.
Ok yeah, if the battery is damaged , then it's clear
Hello. Ever since I updated to stock pie, I noticed my battery life is always just about 3 hours SOT where I used to get at least 4 hours SOT. I was wondering if the new setting "Sleep Standby Optimization" has anything to do with it. I turned it off, because when it's on I would get late notifications for some apps, which would never happen in previous versions of OOS. But with it off, my notifications seem to be the same well working behavior as old OOS but the battery life sucks now for me. Anyone else having battery issues with stock OOS 9.0.5?
i have the same issue i used to get around 2 days on my battery and now i only get just around 6 hours

Just curious. Is there any custom kernel you're using? I was using stock but if I underclock the CPU I can get a similar SOT that I used to get in the past, but it still sucks I needed to underclock the CPU just to do that. I guess I'm wondering if any custom kernel may help maybe.
I am on complete stock of everything
I have flashed my moto g5+ with pixel experience plus custom rom android 11 coming from oreo. I am experiencing battery life issues with the screen on time just 4hrs instead of 6-7hrs on my previous version. I have not rooted my phone and this SOT is with Wifi On and usage of social media apps. Is there a solution for this as everything else is perfect in this rom?
Hello
I recivied 3 days ago a new update to Miui 14, before update the battery work for 24 hours good (40-50%), now afrer 12 i'ts 20%.
does anyone have this problem?
I am using Miui 14 (xiaomi.eu stable edition), and I also experience battery drainage. I am looking for any updates, but they seem to have dropped their weekly updates for Lisa (the 5G NE). Let's see now, because I ended up liking Miui and not like the UI of any other roms...
yes have the aforementioned problem of battery drain. Since I kept this phone as stock I cannot even revert version
Yes, I've faced the same problem. I was getting 10% overnight battery drain. Then I flashed custom rom(AOSP), and now the overnight battery drain is 4%. MIUI su*ks

PixelOS latest build. The battery backup is way better than MIUI, also it feels smoother than MIUI

On my Mi11 used to get 2-4% battery drain overnight on MiUI13, since i updated to MiUI14 i get 8-14% battery drain, counting i usually sleep 7-5 hours, it's not an issue since i can change fast, but it's goddam annoying that now i consume 15% insted of 10% per Youtube watching hour
One thing could be done is unintall Carrier Services updates.
Any custom rom > stock miui
I've noticed that "com.android.bluetooth" is draining battery. Is there some fix?
