Finding the correct CSC - Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Questions & Answers

From what I can find two countries offer native call recording and still works with SPay for USA users, which are Vietnam (XXV) and Thailand (CAM/MYM/THL)
Now when I go to Samobile, samfirms etc the CSC version is OXM which does not have the call recording.
What am I missing?
How do I find the correct ones?
Thanks for all your help

Try using samsung-firmware-downloader and put the desired region code in when you search. Should be able to download the one you want straight from Samsung.

Problems in LTE activation (different regions)

Hello friends,
I'm from Brazil and I bought a LTE Galaxy Watch in Germany, exactly the same version (Sm-R805F) used in Brazil. However when I went to my mobile company to activate the e-sim it was not possible. When the system ask to read a QR code, in the mobile networks' activation process, a message of error appears ("It's not possible to conect this mobile"). Does anyone know why and how to fix it?
Can you check this Code...
Code:
*#1234#
Seems DIFFERENT Software crap exists... so different Profiles...
Code:
OXX
OXA
Check your CSC ...
OXA could be inside German Version... and OXX is maybe for Brazil...
Best Regards

Thank you very much!
I did it and the CSC is OXA (German version).
How can I change it to OXX?
PS: I did as they recomended here (https://forum.xda-developers.com/smartwatch/gear-s3/guide-how-to-change-gear-s3-r760-csc-t3784226 ) but theres no Brazilian code nor OXX.
OXX and OXA are """group"""
OXA contains minimum DBT CSC... for Germany
You can NOT change from OXA to OXX... because the config files not inside...
Your Link shows only way to change existing CSC inside flashed CSC file...
Example...
I have Firmware files... from OXX region...
Code:
CSC_[B]OXX[/B]_R805FOXX1BRI4_usr.tar.md5
You can unpack and extract with 7Zip... csc.img file.
Folder preconfig have 8 folderS with 7 CSC... DEF means Default IMHO...
Code:
BRI
TGY
VAU
XNZ
XSA
XSG
XSP
XSP is Singapore...
For the others I am tooo lazy... forgotten... use Google...
I have NO idea if it is an good idea to try to flash with netOdin such CSC files... or complete Firmware of OXX region.
Samsungs funny Security...
Best Regards
Edit 1.
I have tried to identify Brzil via Google search...
For me it looks no CSC inside for Brazil...
I have NO idea if SM-R805F is for Brazil market...
Edit 2.
Okidoki... Google search leads to this:
https://www.samsung.com/br/support/model/SM-R805FZSAZVV/
So looks like exists for Brazil... and you can see Sales Code ZVV it is in Product Code...
Code:
SM-R805FZSA[B]ZVV[/B]
IMHO 3 region groups... OXX OXA and ?
Firmware for Brazil seems not leaked... with ZVV inside...
Edit 3.
Firmware for SM-R805F for Brazil looks like this:
Code:
R805FXXU1CRK7/R805F[B]OWO[/B]1CRK7/R805FXXU1CRK7
So OWO is Region Code... for Brazil...
IMHO OWO package have ZVV Sales Code/CSC inside... for Brazil.
Edit 4.
My fault...
Code:
R805FXXU1DSC7_Tizen_4File_Multi CSC ([B]OWO[/B]).rar
Leaked and available...
But still no idea if this helps you... because dangerous to flash... Sams..g Security could prevent success...

Hi,
Can you list the available CSC's within the OWO version ?
I wasn't able to find it for download to check by myself..

ZTA
ZTO
ZVV

I've been reading the post, but I'm a little lost. I do not know what to do. I have a R815 Vodafone Germany version, and I want to activate it for movistar Spain, but I receive the error "It's not possible to conect this mobile". The data of my watch are the following:
AP: R815FXXU1ARH5
CP: R815FXXU1ARH5
CSC: R815FOXA1ARH5
With the SDB utility I have accessed a hidden menu on the watch and I changed the original CSC VD2 to XEC, or at least I thought so ... I think VD2 is Vodafone Germany, and XEC is Movistar Spain (the company that I have on my mobile phone). Samsung Pay works, but LTE is impossible to configure ("It's not possible to conect this mobile")
It is possible to get a different firmware and flash it?... or how can I get to configure an esim (lte) from movistar españa?

Is not to you to do'it...
You need to call the operatório, in this case, Movistar and subscribe for the service and they activate the eSim...

Hello mate
I bought Samsung Galaxy watch when I was on holidays in Greece as in UK the LTE version was only with contract on EE. As I'm using Vodafone UK, I got the Qr Code for the esim but Samsung neither Vodafone could help me to make it work. Finally I make It work but my self, because my Samsung Galaxy watch is from Greek region I try to activate my Vodafone uk esim with a Greek sim network in my mobile device and it's worked perfectly, even when I put back my Vodafone uk sin on my mobile.
Hope that helps you.

Hi, could you elaborate on how you did that? I want to buy the silver LTE version from Hong Kong because that colour is not sold in Singapore, and it would be great if I could get the LTE working.

Change Samsung Members and Galaxy Store language while keeping my CSC

I'm using an Israeli SIM so my CSC is ILO.
But I don't want any of the offers/menus to be in Hebrew I want them in English while keeping my ILO CSC for the native recording option on the dialer.
Is there any way to trick those apps ?
TnxAlot
No there isn't, apps such as these use the phones firmware to determine region, it cannot be changed manually, hence why people who import Samsung devices often cannot use Samsung Pay, your only option is to flash a firmware from your region, however keep in mind you can't flash Exynos firmware to Snapdragon or vice versa

What do you mean by "your only option is to flash a firmware from your region"?
I flashed a DBT (germany) OXM (multi-csc) ROM.
It took the CSC automatically from my SIM carrier I can't do anything about that or can I?

OXM takes the information from the SIM to determine CSC however if you flash a specific firmware that isn't Multi then I think your CSC ignores this, I'm not 100% certain however so I'd do a little research first, sorry I couldn't be of further assistance

Question How to change Firmware for SM-F926B

Hi! I would like to change the firmware for SM-F926B to have call recording and to unlock ESIM. My current phone is registered to region Mexico. Any information on the process will help.
Thanks!
Hi Put up the indonesia XID rom Odin, and it works.
Israel (ILO) roms have call recording enabled and support for dual sim + esim.
Can you just Flash with another country ROM like before? I don't think it will work by just flashing. I have SM-F9260 I would like to have the Native call recording too.

Question S22 Exynos Call Recording

Hello all!
As we know from S20 and S21 threads, the only eonly viable option to enable clear call recording is to flash XID, Indonesia firmware on our Exynos smartphones. This year the XID version is Snapdragon, so it won''t be a good decision to flash software meant from another hardware.
Is there any other region with native call recording and Exynos so we can flash that firmware instead? None of the call recording works if not enabled from the firmware as well since you will only hear you talking.
Thanks in advance!
Samsung announced that the new S22 will have 5 yeasr software updates, thanks to the new policy to reduce the number of firmwares for the different countries

SD Native call recording & CSC (without rooting)
Hi everyone, Looking for some insight and more educated projections. I'm in Canada, and our phones (SD) typically didn't get native call recording (or any recording allowed as a matter of fact after Pie was rolled out). I had to purchase a...

I'll be happy if you let me know if it works, I'm considering exchanging S22ultra for S22.
You can change CSC to SEK (Ukraine). It has native call recording function. but you can't use Samsung Pay.
Can SEK firmware be flashed directly to the device without SAMkey? When XID was on Exynos I could flash directly since my terminal is not branded.
No, change possible only via Samkey, because both regions present in one Europe FW.

Enabling Native Call Recorder through CSC
Hello, Thanks to this XDA thread and some other sources I was able to compile a list of CSC codes that enable native call recording on Samsung ROMs. This is the list: Indonesia (XID) Vietnam (XXV) Ukraine (SEK) Israel (ILO) India (INS) Thailand...
forum.xda-developers.com
I recommend using the autoSync app for automatic backup of recordings. Works very well
i understand that CSC cannot be changed to Ukraine since both regions use same FW and multi CSC file. But will it work if i simply buy ukranian sim card off of ebay and put in phone? will phone change CSC from EUX to SEK then?
I read, if you change CSC to SEK, Samsung Health not work properly.
(Or Samsung Pay? And credits on Samkey a little bit expensive.
I lost the guarantee, when i change the CSC?)
Call Recorder - Cube ACR app seems to be work, but the caller voice is very weak
Hi,
If you change CSC to SEK, will wipe all data?
If YES, is there a posibility to write HOME_CSC only, instead of CSC?
