Its been a while using the redmi 1s..
The problem i am facing is that i can't send sms from my BSNL sim ..
When i send a message the error reads " Message not sent "
.
Other sims work just fine on this device..
I have updated to the latest version of MIUI and still not able to send any messages..
also the sim works fine on my other devices so no problem related to sim is there..
Any work around ..??

p.s. :- I would prefer being unrooted (as my father uses the device)

I'm fun of xiaomi mi max serie (mi max, mi max 2, and mi max 3), and love nice large screen!
My last order from china (mi max 3) was received with locked mi account, sent many emails to xiaomi support with no reply. SO no way to install mui rom. Then i turned to others rom via Orange fox.
My only problem, is all tested roms (A10-11-12) are working, i have only big issue with network mobile : mobile signal is not stable at all (connecting-disconnecting) , and data not working (LTE+ : but no way to connect any webpage), made a lot of tests and installed many things (flashed persist.img, flashed new modem file NON-HLOS.bin, firmware 3.9.9, etc ... ) but no way to get this device working properly ....
My current mi max 2 is working really better !
I remarked that on the box the 2 IMEI are the same number ! ?
mi max 3 model : M1804E4A (basicaly first produced model?)
Any help ?
Hello Everyone currently I'm living in china and using a redmi note 8 . Currently I am not able to use google service in my phone with VPN. So I decide to change my phone Global Rom. But I'm confused If I change into Global, is there have any problem will arise to use chinese apps Lilke Wechat Alipay Taobao. And After I have change my phone into Global Can I use chinese Sim card in my phone? And after changing into global Rom, will I be able to use google service with VPN in my phone?

I don't have the Volte and vowifi options in the settings menu. So i tried the *#*#.... and nothing happen.
Otherwise i fond this phone to have a bad reception and difficult to phone with, so vowifi is a solution for me
when i'm at home.

Already tried codes but i don't have the Miui dialer ont the global version and don't find a way to install it.
Open Modem test tools by using *#*#663368378#*#* code in dialer > Open MBN config loading and activating tool > select mbn_eea.txt for SW MBN > tap on validate > wait some secs for update then reboot phone

Does this solution require root? For me it says "Please apply to modem staff to get control rights." I am also facing constant disconnects, poor mobile reception etc. since the latest updates. It is really driving me crazy and I already tried resetting APN, mobile connections, full download of update etc. The only thing I have not tried yet is a full wipe as this will take a lot of time to reconfigure all the apps. But might be a further solution...

Sorry i don't understant what you mean, it's the default dialer for miui global. So it's already installed.
go to settings -> sim cards and mobile networks -> (click on sim card 1)
VoLTE and VoWIFI should be there
nope, this is the problem. When i dial the codes nothing happen and no vo*** options in settings.
I think those settings have been removed from MIUI, but phone codes still works if you enable them.
Try this: go to settings / system info / all specifications / click 5 times on internal memory
This will open a services option for sim 1 and sim 2
Check if volte and/or wowifi are enabled.
Then use the codes provide few messages above via phone app and go back to this service screen and re-check if volte and/or wowifi status are changed.
It worked for me.

Hi there. Same problems here. The manual activation with *#*#VOLTE#*#*, which overrides the network settings, worked with MIUI 12.5, but since MIUI 13 the command does not work anymore.
So now you only get VoLTE if your network provider gives it to you.
I see you have a french language selected, so you might be using Orange or Sosh network. They don't support VoLTE on the F3... I contacted support, and they activated a switch on my phone line. And I had VoLTE on the F3 with MIUI 13 with Sosh for a few days, before it went away again...
I'm using Bouygues network and volte is activated on the network. My problem is VoWIFI, since i have a very bas reception at home. Otherwise the network connection is very bad and i always have blanks in phone calls.
Anyway, if you enable Volte or vowifi but your carrier doesn't support it or didn't enable it for Poco F3 the services, them simply couldn't work
It's true but they're activated by the carrier. VoLTE works sometimes and VoWIFI doesn't work.
I think i have to change this phone cause i can't use it. Too many network lost ...
Sad but true.. Poco is simply a mess..
My carrier said that Poco F3 is not supported by it's network (that needs a specific firmware update to support any single device), but it came out my F3 can connect to volte and vowifi
Just want to share my experiences before I am using poco x3 and I enable vowifi in the setting, when making call via wifi I can hear the other person but they cannot hear me, it turns out that poco x3 is not officially supported by my network provider... Months later I changed phone to poco f3 as it's supported by network provider and the vowifi work flawlessly since then..

Like title mention, i trying to change my model from Xiaomi 13 pro to xiaomi 12 pro.
Reason its that my telco only support VOLTE and VOWIFI for Xiaomi 12 pro.
I try to edit buildprob with "adb shell settings put global device_name "Xiaomi 12 Pro"
But seems like doesnt work, when i use "get" method, it return xiaomi 12 pro, but the telco still detects as a "Xiaomi 13 Pro". This phone is imported from china. But i need VOWIFI badly as my condo have weak signal.
Hope any expert can help.

I don't think changing the name will change anything. The mobile providers transmit the necessary information to the brands so that the updates include this information.

You can rename it Samsung, Lg whatever, these parameters are included in the rom system.

Did you enable volte and vowifi through the phone dialer with the codes?
