Hello, today i installed AccentOS because i hate the stock colors on OOS but i can't install it without rooot (magisk) so now i have 2 of 3 checks (green arrows) on magisk and i can't login in pokemon GO what can i do? because i want the custom rom and TWRP with Pokemon GO. Thanks for your help.
Try using the MagiskHide option. This will hide root from the app.

Just disable OEM unlocking from developer options
This won't lock bootloader but it would let magisk work and safety new would show green
Tried on my AccentOS
Maybe you can try Riga ROM by danieldm ... He have magosk support too.

Just downloaded the game not a fan tho, Wanted to try. I'm on RR 7.1.1 Unified builds and magisk enabled. The game seem to be force closing all the time. A red Nintendo screen splashes and fades away. I'm not t=sure the problem is with the ROM or app itself. I tried clearing cache,Rebooting and all.
Anyone facing the same issue?
Anyone knows how to fix?
app is good. i got it on my op3 stock and it works fine. looks like its an rom related problem.

had the same issue , turns out it's failing a safetynet issue .
install magisk SU to pass safetynet issue and it should work fine.
See my sig, works with that system.

Yes did that too. My magisk passed safetynet also i tired hiding magisk for mario. Didn't help tho

its a problem with supersu root, if you use Magisk (you can hide it inside official app) won't have problems. I can play to Pokemon GO and SM Run without problem using it

Same with that, doesn't work..
I think it would be interesting to kow if ppl who say it fails to work use OxygenOS or something else. My configuration works for PKMN Go and Mario Run without ANY problems at all.

are you using custom rom? because some roms have root included and you manage it in developer options.
With Magisk configurated and included root turn off, you should play without problems

I use latest BJRR RR from Eliminater, wich includes by default magisk
Rooted systemless with magisk, safetyCheck pass, magisk hide enabled !

How to install Magisk on RR 7.1.1?
Hi! I have a one plus one and I am running Lineage OS 14.1-20170130 (7.1.1) and I can't play aswell.
I get the red Nintendo splash screen and it closes.
Running latest lineage weekly with zenith EAS 004 kernel and magisk and no issues whatsoever, I was able to start up the game and make a profile and play without any craziness
Update the magisk to latest version11.6 ! It helped me....

Yep, just tried with magisk and it worked. I found it on this reddit just after my previous post. At the r/LineageOS subreddit (the name of the post is "Super Mario Run came out about minutes ago, but crashes on start (Kenzo)" ). (I can't post urls yet)
Doesn't work on latest RR with latest magisk, safetyCheck pass and hide too.
I was on my previous install with latest RR AND superSU
I dirty flashed the ROM to remove superSU and work root with magisk
Is dirty flash is enough to remove superSU ?

Here's how you can play Fortnite with Root
Apparently, Fortnite that launched asking with the Note 9 on Android, doesn't seem to work if your device is rooted.

UPDATE(10/8/2018)- Player gets kicked out when trying to jump out of the bus. Needs more research. Don't worry. Ill soon find a Fix!?
UPDATE(11/8/2018)- This is the most probable fix for the bus issue. Use Magisk Core Mode and hide magisk Managwr itself. Reboot it then.(Note-You'll have to re install the whole Fortnite game, because once it detects root,ut remember it. Maybe Clearing cache can work. Not confirmed)
UPDATED V2 STEPS-
1.Unroot your Phone then Install it and play a
round or so.
2.Then install magisk manager.apK
3.install magisk rOOt
4.Open magisk manager check the 2 Boxes and
reinstall it
5.Reboot
6.Open Magisk Manager
7.Magisk Hide Fortnite + the installer
8.Hide Magisk Manager in the App Settings
9.Use Magisk Core

STEPS
1. Go to Epicgames Official Website And Download the Apk for Fortnite for Android(Don't install Yet!)
2. Go to Magisk Manager and navigate to Magisk Hide and enable it For Fortnite and Fortnite Installer!
3.Disable Usb debugging from Dev Settings
4. Now go ahead and install the installer then Download the Data/OBB etc.
5.Get ready to Play Fortnite on Your Rooted Device!
NOTE:
Some people had tried to use Magisk Hide to play Fortnite but it didn't work. Thats because they Used Magisk Hide after downloading the Data and installing The Fortnite App.
If you do it before,Fortnite will not Detect Root!

You can't hide it before installing and your YouTube video does not show what happens after jumping from the bus. Seems like a BS post to me!

Allright but still that didn't work so i guess no fortnite on my rooted galaxy s8 :/
Everything works but as soon as i jump out of bus it kicks me out

Well I didn't have the time to go that far into the game. Just tried to fix the Error that was because of Root access and Trued the game for like maybe 5 mins.
Someone maybe can fix even this bus problem now that we are in the game.

the issue pops up after jumping from the bus, ensure you do not use your default account when trying to find a fix as it may get banned.

Nope not working. Still get kicked after the bus jump
They are seemly checking for unlock boot loader, safety net,root and developer mode so basically overkill and really hard to trick

Open Magisk SuperSu, and uninstall all the apps you see there. Looks like fortnite is also searching for other root apps.

Neither am I, so many other games allow root users to play and epic Games can't because they say they can't be sure we won't cheat #lame excuse say good bye to a huge part of your player base on mobile epic

Install the Magisk module called RootCloak. Then open the app and add fortnite installer in the list.
Now you can install the game without loosing root
PS: I have the game installed but dont have the invite so cant say if it will run as well. Try it out and let me know!

I have Fortnite fully working with root on my 5T. I found the tutorial online somewhere, but can't find it anymore. These are the steps I took. I'm on magisk 16.7 by the way.
First, uninstall the fortnite installer and the fortnite app. I did it by long pressing the app and going into app info, force stop, clear cache, clear data, then uninstall. Not sure if it's necessary to do it this way, but that's how I did it.
Second, you have to reinstall the Fortnite Installer, but do not open it once installed. Go into magisk and make sure magisk hide is enabled under settings then go into magisk hide tab and select the fortnite installer app.
Third, open the fortnite installer app and install the actual fortnite app itself. Again, do not open the app and go into magisk again and select Fortnite under the magisk hide tab.
Fourth, in magisk under settings select the option to hide magisk app itself. It's the fourth option under settings. Also make sure that you erase the magisk manager folder in your sd
card if it's there(this won't affect a thing, even if you have modules enabled). Then reboot.
Before launching the game, make sure that USB debugging is turned off under development options.
You're all set, you can now enjoy Fortnite.

Hide everything.
Hide magisk to detectioms in settings (package name setting)
Disable adb
Most importantly. Delete the magical folder in sdcard
Then enjoy

Hi guys. SO i have a latest stock rom. Rooted with Magisk installed. But it's been over a month that my game crahes randomly inbetween while i am playing. No heat-ups, no errors, nothing. I don't play on high graphics.. Low and Extreme only. I have tried turning the battery optimization off. But nothing has helped so far. Any help will be highly appreciated.
Uninstall and reinstall? Do you have any other modules installed?

I am also facing the same issue. I believe it's ever since the latest update(January 2020 update). Game crashes every 5-10mins. No error screen, nothing. I have a magisk rooted oneplus 5t with Vanced module installed.

Solution to pubg crash
Go to magisk, and then magisk hide - tick PUBG.
Then, go to settings of magisk, and select "hide magisk ", you can pick any name that doesn't include "magisk" within it.
This should fix it.

And also delete the TWRP folder in the storage if it's empty or rename it to something else .
END. PUBG WILL WORK AS USUAL !
