My phone (redmi note 8 global / ginkgo) is stuck on the MIUI logo (bootloop)
It's stock and the latest version
V12.5.2.0.RCOMIXM
, bootloader locked, i was getting launcher error before it got bootlooped, i think the launcher got corrupted or something, i started getting issues when I ran android universal debloater https://github.com/0x192/universal-android-debloater so i know it's not a hardware issue, it might be a launcher issue? can i fix that using adb?
I've tried the vol up + power method and tried to reboot via the recovery but it doesn't work
How can I get back on my phone without data loss? can I flash the same rom again?
when the phone is in bootloop on miui logo, i can access it shows up when i do adb devices

A few weeks ago, before the OTA release of Lollilpop for my Nexus 7, I booted into fastboot mode and manually flashed the razor factory images for Android 5.0. Everything worked fine until the N7 crashed (from a fully working state) and rebooted. When it rebooted, it would not progress past the Google logo. All I can access is the fastboot screen.
I've now come back to try and fix it. I've tried erasing the system and flashing the old (and new) stock Android images using fastboot. This process completes without errors but the N7 will still not boot past the Google logo. I've also tried flashing a custom recovery but the N7 will not enter recovery mode.
My bootloader is unlocked and is currently version FLO-04.02. Does anyone have ideas for what to try next?
So I recently changed my Xiaomi Mi MIx 2 screen (the one before was broken) and I wss using LineageOS 16 with TWRP.
The problem is that, after I changed the screen, I could not boot back to LineageOS because I was stuck in a grey screen (after booting the phone I am able to see the Mi logo and the LineageOS loading animation, but after that nothing).
I tried to do a Wipe from the TWRP, but whenever I try to open the recovery I get stuck again with a grey logo... (and in the recovery it does not even shows the TWRP logo, just straight the grey screen). I am still able, however, to go in Fastboot mode and I do have an unlocked bootloader
So my question was... does anyone encounteredd the same problem? And does anyone know how to fix it?
Can I perhaps just use the Mi Flash tool from fastboot to go back to stock MIUI without first wiping from TWRP things like Dalvik cache, cache, System ecc... or would this method fail/brick my phone?
Thank you a lot to anyone that would spend time to help me (and sorry for my bad English, I am trying to improve it).
Have a nice day!
The mi mix2s rewrites a new recovery after every boot, so to get TWRP to work you have to flash it from fastboot every single time. So the next time you boot, reflash TWRP, then you can boot into recovery 1 time and flash the rom of your choice
Hi Guys,
Recently i'm changed my broken display of Mix 2 after that when i'm entering to recovery it showing a gray screen also the phone is detecting on PC.
some TWRP worked but after flashing custom ROM same as showing gray screen after finished boot also doing second try the touch not working on TWRP.
Now i'm using Global version of MIUI11, when flashing custom TWRP via FASTBOOT MODE its booting up but after that restarting the phone revert back to the stock Recovery. Earlier i'm used the final version of MIUI12 Weekly EU ROM
Guys if you know any workaround for this please help me to get rid out of this
Thanks in Advance
So, this is more for interest than anything else, but here's the scenario.
A friends 5T did a sudden shutdown. He picked up the phone, unlocked the screen and opened WhatsApp. An error message flashed on the screen - too fast to read - and the phone shut down immediately. He tried to restart, but it was stuck at the boot logo (circle with rotating dots).
We had a go at trying to get it back up again and did the following. I should note that both recovery and fastboot were available, however the bootloader was locked.
1) Booted into recover and sideloaded the latest OnePlus ROM - Stuck at boot logo
2) Got hold of unbrick tool and flashed with latest version (seems to be Android 8.1) - Stuck at boot logo
We were about to give up assuming a hardware issue when on a whim I tried the old unbrick for Android 7. Amazingly the phone booted. I quickly enabled bootloader unlock and unlocked the bootloader. We then flashed TWRP and tried to flash a custom ROM (Bliss in this case) - followed all the instructions to the T and got stuck at the (Bliss) boot logo (very cool boot logo by the way).
We then flashed a rollback version of Android 7 designed for folks coming back from one of the early beta 8 versions. This booted again, although it replaced TWRP as expected. We then sideloaded the latest version of 7 we could find (seems to be 7.11).
So here's the question. The only thing not working on the phone is the Wi-Fi. It does not switch on and shows a MAC address of 02:00:00:00:00:00 which indicates an issue. So I'm assuming something to do with the Wi-Fi has died on the mainboard. However, Bluetooth still works, SIM cards still work. I can use the phone normally with a mobile data.
So, what would stop anything above version 7.11 from booting if just the Wi-Fi is broken? Is there some link to this that was added in Android 8. It would great to update to 8 or 9 and still be able to use the phone, as everything else seems to work.
P.S. I have noticed that the camera takes about 10 seconds for the image to appear after the app opens, then works fine after that. Related maybe?
Anyway, was just wondering if anyone knows the inner workings and can shed some light on this one.
Hi to all, I just want to ask for some advice or tips. The thing is:
I have one old Redmi 5A Riva. It was lying in the drawer some time, so I decided to try to unlock the bootloader and flash some custom ROM.
So, I unlocked the bootloader - OK
Then I flashed TWRP - OK
Then I decided to make root on stock firmware - OK
Then I tried to flash Lineage OS 17 - after flash it stopped booting.
So I tried to flash Lineage OS 18 - it started booting again but I found out that phone doesn´t detect an USB cable, so I wanted to flash some other ROM instead.
But after few moments TWRP suddenly disappeared (volume up + power on stopped working, only vol. down and power on worked to fastboot) - kinda weird, I said to myself Now I am f**ked up because Lineage 18 was not rooted, I wanted to do it later, so I couldn´t use TWRP app to reflash it.
But after few moments there appeared stock recovery menu, so I thought okay, maybe its not dead, so I try to flash just stock rom. I tried MIUI 10, but again - not booting.
So I did wipe again and tried MIUI 9 - flashing via fastboot and used flash_all.bat attached to rom - it booted up and worked, so I enabled USB debugging again and tried OMNI ROM. I flashed it, after flash it boots up, but after few second screen goes black and nothing else happens.
I am kinda annoyed with this , I flashed many phones, but only Xiaomi makes these weird problems.
Can someone help me to fix this?
Hi everyone, in November 2022 I unlocked my phone and flashed Pixel Experience13, the basic one. Some days ago I wanted to try the plus version and wiped data, cache, system and then I moved the rom inside the phone and used twrp to flash the rom, I didn't used adb sideload and now my phone just shows the redmi logo, I can only access to fastboot, if I try to press Volume + and Power button appears the twrp splash screen, but like after 10 seconds it disappears. I read that I can flash stock roms somehow, but I can't understand very well, can someone help me out?
