Flash MIUI9 global dev without unlocking bootloader

is there any way to flash MIUI9 global dev without unlocking bootloader? I'm on miui 8 global.

I gave it a try and it worked, I haven't even got the unlock tool!
Now checking I still show as locked...

Yes, download XiaomiTool and follow the instructions.

I'm having problems with both methods, mitools and fastboot in the XiaoMiFlash app, even can't connect with MiPCSuite, getting crazy with Xiaomi

I had no problems.
MiTools worked perfectly.
When my cell phone arrived it was with shop rom.
I activated USB debugging on Mi6 and connected to the computer (Windows 10, x64).
But in my Redmi2, MiTools did not work. I had to use MiFlash.

This method worked for me, I have locked bootloader, tried with flashtools it was finishing in a second and showing as success but nothing was flashed, so tried this second method, I habe MIUI 9 now, many thanks XDA and @maciupeq

With this method, I am getting: "Couldn't verify update package"

tried with latest XiaomiFlash and no go.. error while trying to flash
mitools asks for unlocked bl

It didn't work for redmi note 4 SD.

How to get rid of the "Your device is corrupt message"?

This looks like a pretty hard nut to crack. I don't know exactly what caused it. I was rooted for a few days and was just reflashing Magisk (messing about you could say) when it turned up. Previously, I just had the warning with yellow text which is what everyone gets after unlocking the bootloader. So here goes the overview, please bear with me:
===> I reset the phone by flashing OnePlus5TOxygen_43_OTA_006_all_1712062242_69a5125fb2eb4d87.ZIP (OxgengenOS 4.7.4). <===
Exact steps on how I did that:
1) I flashed the stock recovery image via fastboot ( I got it from Oneplus's website)
2) I booted into the stock recovery I flashed in step 1 and flashed the entire ZIP (the one with the long name above). Probably flashed the recovery twice but yeah.
But no dice. It will absolutely not go away. The zip does not contain any other IMG's apart from boot.img and recovery.img so I can't really flash other partitions like system via fastboot. I CAN flash system via my nandroid backup, and I did, but that still did not help.
Here is the error I got. It's from a google search but it resembles the error on the OPO5T very nicely. So can the experts chime in please?

Not used to posting my own answer but maybe this will help someone. You need a full reflash with the Qualcomm tools. OPO support can do this, or anyone with the flashing tool, the correct firmware image, and drivers (the latter being easy to find).
There are tutorials online to do this, the only thing missing is the correct firmware image.
To summarise the requirements:
1) Qualcomm drivers (easy to find)
2) Qualcomm Flash tool MsmDownloadTool V4.0.exe (fairly easy to find)
3) The correct *.ops firmware image (hard to find and you need the password)

I can tell you its lenght if that helps? That should narrow down the amount of combinations. Unless its different per download link they send.

For OnePlus 5T "OxygenOS 4.7.2-171116.zip" it is exactly 10 characters. The driver RAR-password is a lot longer (>20). Don't even try to brutefoce that.

If we already have the opt file someone could just set up a keylogger on their machine and have op support do the remote flash and thus capture the password from them lol

Do you mean you have the first three? If so can you share or PM it? Not sure if you mean that brute forcing has reached only a permutation of 4 characters.

It is Bruteforcing meaning I started with 10 characters

Question The phone turns into a brick after using the MTK client client (GUI) function, please help!

When I click on all the erase options, the client only recognizes them but cannot save me back to the phone. The volume and power buttons are not responding. Please help me!

If you were backed up(read partition) every partition using mtkclient, than you just can recover your device through backup.
I had done recovering my device this way
Maybe there are other ways, but i have not tested them.

seems i didnt do that before my phone turn into brick. is there any possible to recover my devices through other people's back up?
all I want to do is make my devices open again, wipe data is fine, since having no any important data on the devices.

Well, i guess we can try this way, but since our device different, you can get firmware from here.
I will check the topic and i will try to help
(Preferably from Telegram or Discord)
If we success i will open a new thread about unbricking Realme C21, if we fail we will try other suggestions unless you gave up or ideas are over.

Can you describe what exactly lead you to this stage, device not booting at all?
And are you trying to use mtk-client? I ask this because I'm seeing that you also are using mtk-bypass too, so, what for are you using mtk-bypass tool? To bypass what?

I have trying to root my Realme C21 Android 11recently, am I using MTK client, and my devices became brick after erase flash and other thing. So now I gonna save my phone through approach @MrMiyamo give.

My own device has not been hard-bricked before, so I am not sure how to unbrick it.
My aim is to try methods that can be a solution(hopefully),
If you have experience please help us(so @logforjj) so we can quickly unbrick.

Now I cannot bypass.

Are they different?

I reset my laptop every time I start follow the steps, I have seen CMD show my devices had has been bypassed successfully like figure show in that topics. Should I go to next step?
p.s. I actually do not know how to do next, how can I get scatter txt. and other needed file in one's @MrMiyamo given, any decrypted needed?

Question SafetyNet not passing after flashing global rom and locking Bootloader

As the title says, tried Xiaomi EU for a month, did not like it , flashed the global rom with MIFlash tool, everything fine till i tried to use banking apps.
Any way to know whats the error here? I am aware that using magisk modules might help bypassing SafetyNet but i prefer not to root the device.
Checked twice to be sure the bootloader was actually locked, it is.

Not the most helpful tip, but you could try factory resetting your phone...
Then, I would immediately check SafetyNet, and while setting up your phone, installing all the apps & dialing in all the settings, keep checking that SafetyNet still passes...
If it fails immediately, something is wrong at the core.
I think you can reflash the Stock ROM when Bootloader is locked, but it has to be the right region.

It does fail immediately after setup, just also checked I'm flashing correct rom for my device

Something I forgot to mention, after flashing stock rom every time the phone boots up a small message show "Find device storage corrupted, device is unsafe now" I've been reading about it, and it seems is an issue with the persist partition.

Wow I recently saw the same message, for the first time!
I had recently clean-flashed MIUI and then ArrowOS, and while on MIUI I saw the same message. I had never seen that before.
I wonder what's behind that. I googled it, and you're right... Something about the Persist-partition...

I agree I would just reflash and not unlock the boot loader and makesure you got the latest fastboot rom for the device , PS running Eu weekly and love it don't know why on gods green earth you woul;d choose stock over it

Redmi 5A softbricked while the bootloader is locked after using the phone normally

Hello people of XDA
My Redmi 5A got softbricked and I'm not sure why since I wasn't (and never have) using it for rooting/installing new ROM/etc., I was using it for normal usage. (Didn't install anything that might cause the phone to just shutdown like that too)
Currently, my Redmi only shows:
-The system has been destroyed screen
-Fastboot mode
-Recovery mode
Methods I've tried:
-Mi Assistant/Mi PC Suite, which is useless because my phone cannot connect to it because the USB debugging is not turned on and I have no way of turning it on. Which made my phone unable to be recognized by the assistant, but it is recognizable by my laptop. (for extra info)
-ADB & Fastboot, which is also fruitless as of this far because after running the flash_all.bat, it says that my device is locked and cannot be erased. (exta info: I downloaded the EU-fastboot version)
-Factory reset and reboot.
I'm really not familiar with this situation, but as far as I've learned in the internet, that means my Redmi's bootloader is locked (?)
I do have the option to go to Xiaomi's service center, but I just want to know if this is fixable at home.

I know you are not comfortable giving remote access.
I will make a tutorial on Monday to flash the device without authorisation.
