Here is the original camera apk from Chinese ColorOS 2 Beta.
Current version: 1.04.986
From Chinese ColorOS 2.0.16 (Find7a - X9007)
Tested on ColorOS 1.2.2i (Find7a - X9006)
DOWNLOAD: http://www12.zippyshare.com/v/73078312/file.html
Original source: http://bbs.coloros.com/find7-57994-1-1.html
What are the features you don't have in the original camera app? (ColorOS 1.2.Xi)
+ adjustable ISO (auto, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600)
+ ScanPaste (= QR code scanner)
+ Poster Search (I could not make this one work, maybe it takes only specific chinese posters/magazines)
+ Voice Shot (take the photo with just saying 'Cheese'...) - not working, it probably needs another app to work properly.
+ Voice Beauty (adjustable skin beautifier - only for Chinese speakers) - not tested, but it is very likely that it will have the same problem as the Voice Shot
Installation:
- copy the apk file to your phone/sd storage and install it.
How to get back to the original camera app?
- just uninstall it.
(it is installed as an update, so when you uninstall it, you will get back to the original version of the app)
Will the app work on a custom ROM?
- if the ROM is not based on ColorOS it probably won't work.
Very nice, but voice snapshot doesn't work for me!I don't know, but logcat says 'ALSA input device not found!'.
Any help is appreciated!
Tia
Is this for 7A or 7S?
I tested it on 7S, but it shouldn't be the difference with actual colorOS, cause it's same for both!

I guess the app looks for another apk which is not implemented in the international ColorOS.
ALSA is an audio driver, so it makes sense it doesn't work without it...
APK analysis might help to find the right apk for this to work..
Somebody who tests the camera apk on a ColorOS 2.0.0i Beta would be appreciated..

I have extracted it from the official version for X9007 (Find 7a). You can try it on Find 7 and unninstall it if the app misbehaves.
(But as Zoltan-X stated above, it should work with no problem)
Works as you say on 7a (X9006) with ColorOS 1.2.2i but some of the wording in the settings menu is cut off with the large font options. Probably ok on the smaller font settings but I'm of an age where the smaller fonts are just wingdings

Thanks, installed and tested slow shutter, manual iso at completely dark bedroom, the only light is from my Macbook Pro's keyboard.
ISO 1600, F/2.0, 1s
Oppo Find 7, ISO 1600, 1s, f/2.0 by +OnePiece+, on Flickr
For some reason the app reverts itself to stock (non-chinese) version after every reboot. Wtf?

HyperCAM R4 working correctly in our Mi9SE!!, attached to the ZIP is an XML that you must install as in GCAM (in fact HyperCAM is a GCAM MOD)
This camera allows you to use the GCAM with ALL the cameras available on your device, using GCAM technology.
To make it work, install the APK as a GCAM and install the attached XML in the ZIP, otherwise the APK will not work for us.

How to use .xml files
.xml files must be stored in [Internal Storage]/GCam/Configs7 (create the folder if it doesn't exists)
To load an .xml double tap the area between the capture button and gallery, select the .xml and click Restore or Update (depending on GCam used)
If there are no .xml files, make sure the folder is created and the name is correct.
How to enable auxiliary cameras [magisk required] [updated for 7.3 Arnova]
Download the following magisk module and install it: [Download link]
Reboot your phone. If the app still crashes when you select an auxiliary camera do another reboot.
Auxiliary cameras are supported only by Urnyx05 GCam at this time.
Auxiliary cameras are not supported in cloned .apks.
Cloned .apks
Cloned .apks are needed in order to use two different versions of the same app
You can also use cloned .apks to have the same app version with different settings (.xmls). One for day and one for night.
Auxiliary cameras are not supported in cloned .apks.
Credits to Arnova8G2, Urnyx05, Nameless, Sir TAVARES and everyone else on the telegram channel.
These are the best ones at the moment. Still recommend Urnyx with Nameless or Pixel4 xml. Arnova 7.3 is still a beta and lots of bugs with missing options (aux cam, astro toggle etc)
Just installed the Urnyx05 with Nameless.xml, and it seems to be working pretty well. Some features don't work, but that's to be expected haha.

Thanks a lot for sharing! Will be testing.
Neither Arnova8G2 7.3 nor Urnyx05 7.2 is working for me.
I get a crash with Arnova8G2 7.3 as soon as I open up the camera app.
With Urnyx05 7.2, I get a crash after I press the shutter button for both XML files.
Thanks for share .
Is it possible to run multiple gcams of same version side by side ?

I updated the main post and included links to a cloned version that you can use to have the same gcam side by side.

What's your device and software version? Any Magisk modules installed?
Using OP7T, Urnyx and the nameless v7 XML, only feature I've found not working is the slow Mo, everything else seems fantastic, and much better than stock

Does anyone else have the same zoom crash problem I'm having when locked focused on an object? This is only for the Urnyx05 version, not the Arnova8G2 version. I detail the problem in the post linked below:
Problem: GCam crashes when the focused point/circle moves outside of the screen during the process of zooming.
If you can't repeat the problem on your phone, can you please look at my signature and tell me how your phone is different? Thank you.

If you install the magisk module it will allow you to use ultrawide and telephoto cameras in google camera. Read the first post for more info.

Did you try it on stock rom as well? OmniRom might cause it to crash.
I've been struggling to find a compatible version of GCAM or Google Camera for my mobile device which is Realme 6i. Some versions of it usually contains crashes and laggyness through out the application due to its incompatibility. Can anyone do an unofficial but stable and compatible port for Realme 6i? I'm willing to wait as long as it'll happen. Thank you! :good:
I use this one but nighacape mode dont work

I need a good gcam for 6i.. someone plz
Check realme 6 gcam
To avoid Viewfinder Lag, install Gcam 6.2 or 6.1.
Gcam 6.3 & onwards lag on Mediatek devices without lagfix, which usually requires root.
If you can compromise on Viewfinder Lag, try this Gcam 7.4: (copy/paste in new tab)
https://f.celsoazevedo.com/file/cfiles/gcm1/NGCam_7.4.104-v1.3_gcam.apk
Config: (Long press & Download Link)
It's for Realme 3, but it might work fine on this phone as well.
If you encounter any issues, try disabling Pixel Binning & Reduce Dots from Settings - Advance - Enable Sabre / Experimental.
Steps:
1. Open Google Camera.
2. Menu - Settings - Configs - Save - Save.
3. Open File Manager.
4. Phone Storage - Download - [email protected] (Copy it).
5. Phone Storage - GCam - Configs7 (Paste here).
6. Open Google Camera.
7. Double tap on empty black space at the bottom (Around selfie/capture/photos buttons).
8. Choose config - [email protected]
9. Restore.
Hi XDA Community and OnePlus 9 pro owners,
I read that OnePlus 9 series is still using Sony Sensors but bought computational photography from Hasselblad.
Since this is "only" software based photography enhancement (similar to GCam) in theory it should be possible to port this to other OnePlus devices aswell.
That's why I am kindly asking if an owner of OnePlus 9 series device can share his/her stock camera app with the community.
So it would be greatly appreciated if you export the apk using Titanium Backup or similar.
Thanks!
Best regards,
m.p.a.
I was able to extract the OneplusCamera.apk.
It's v6.2.22, and it's got all the nice orange features, and the Hasselblad logo on Pro mode button, but apart from a new Pro mode layout, I haven't noticed any new features compared to the version what I had before (v6.4.44 from APKMirror) on my OP8Pro.
The apk is from 11.2.1.1.LE15DA ROM, Indian version, the one you can find in this article.
I was not able to install it via the package installer by the way, and I had to use the Systemizer Magisk module to install the apk to /system/priv-app/ manually, and after a reboot, the app was usable.
You can download the APK from my Google Drive.
Edit: I have also uploaded the APK to APK mirror.

Thanks alot for putting in the effort to extract the APK from the image! Very kind of you!
I will go ahead, install it and test for improvement in photo quality due to hassleblad computational photography.

I haven't checked myself the minimum Android version, but on the APKMirror site, it says it's only from Android 11 and up. That's why you have problem installing it.
I had the same issue on my unrooted 8 Pro & I am on 11 with the March update.

Do you have the same parsing error, or it just simply doesn't install?
If it just doesn't let you install and you don't get the parsing error, you need to follow the instructions in my post.
You need to be rooted with Magisk and use the Systemizer module to install it as a system app.

Can anyone upload the com.oneplus.camera.pictureprocessing apk from OnePlus 9 series? Maybe using that we will be able to use the Hasselbad's image processing on previous devices!
I have tried with multiple versions of the camera app from APK mirror and every single one does the same thing, it acts like it's going to start and then closes out.
I'm trying to get it on my OnePlus 5T. I recently switched from stock to LineagOS 18.1, I already have magisk root and the systemizer module. So technically it should work.
I tried systemizing the camera app using the other dir option and the same thing happened. I try to open the camera after rebooting and it looks like it's about to work, it prompts for permissions and then closes, after the initial prompting of permissions it doesn't do it for future attempts, instead it just instantly closes.
I also noticed that the gallery app has weird problems such as not displaying photos or information after you click on them.
