My newly received Android 12 device is having a problem when trying to open the Photos app and select a photo or video and click the Cast to Chromecast button, the TV goes black and does not display the content, unlike my old device which is Streaming normally to TV with Chromecast built in.

Guys, solved the problem by flashing another ROM (s0sc32.16-29-12 firmware) on the device.

Hello,
Is there a way to disable the screen capture icon when viewing a video using the stock video player? My 2-year loves using my phone to play her lullabies but always presses that button and takes screen shot which then get uploaded to Dropbox since I have it setup to Auto-Upload all pictures.

Any Video players out there that can read and display M4V/MP4 metadata? Things like cover art, title, actors/directors, info about season/episodes (for TV shows). I have painstakingly added all this info to my video files for my apple products, would like to bring this over to my android devices too.

PS: I have reinstalled android 9. The first pairing with the car worked fine: access to folders with music and playback without problem.
****** After turning off the car, the blurred button always comes out and does not let you push it.
****** Tested to change all possible bluetooth settings without any result.

I was able to use smart view and Miracast but something has caused it to stop working right, now with I try it only shows my home screen wallpaper.
So I have been using my HTC U12+ where HTC screen mirroring still works.
I have not had any issues with mine using Smart View..
I have a Roku device that this phone won't connect to, previous Samsung did and partners phone does to

Do you have a VPN connected by chance? My Google Chromecast always bugs if I use a VPN on my phone.
Try to cast from the Google Home app.
Roku doesn't have Chromecast does it?
