The boot.img was missing, sorry.
Download Boot.img
For a correct PixelExperience flash, you must flash vendor_boot.img and boot.img, the recommended firmware is Miui 13.0.5 SKOEUXM

Hi, I accidentally deleted my stock rom image from cwm recovery and I'd like to go back to stock as I'm currently on CM 7.2. So I was wondering if someone could make image of it via cwm and upload it somewhere for me. Or is there any other way to go back? ( I couldn't find any )
Many thanks.
Just use the search function for the Latest Ruu in this section of the forum, flash it and you will revert to stock, read the thread in the link below, good luck

No luck with that, and I've tried few different Ruu's,every time I get error 155. Got any other idea?
Hi,
No need to worry, try this way:
(1) Download the PG76IMG.ZIP (Stock ROM) available from this thread. Extract the "system.img" file next.
(2) Make sure, your WFS can connect to your computer. If so, go to your phone's bootloader next, and choose "FASTBOOT". Then push the system.img image file to your phone as follows:
fastboot flash system system.img
Click to collapse
Voilá. Now shutdown your phone and turn it on again. You WFS2 should boot into the Stock ROM. Please let us know if this worked for you. Thank you
Kind regards, meshua
Nope, still no luck. It installed Stock rom and recovery, but my phone is now stuck on quietly brilliant logo and it bootloops on it.

If it still fails to startup
Reinstall cwm again:
download this: CWM_Recovery_5.0.2.6.zip
Flash the recovery.img(inside the just downloaded zip) using this command(ofc make sure to be in your phone's bootloader and that fastboot is selected):
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Click to collapse
Now start up recovery and do:
- wipe data/factory reset
- wipe cache partition
- advanced --> - wipe dalvik cache
now go back to your bootloader and use fastboot to flash boot.img and system.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
Click to collapse
There is no need to flash the stock recovery.img
Now your phone should boot normally.
Hi,
flashing the boot.img is what I consider as the next/last options. The boot.img contains the kernel and the initial file system which right now seems not being compatible with the stock HTC ROM you flashed the last time. Just follow nis-gens' advice and flash the corresponding boot.img too (as directed)...
Hungry to hear whether or not that put your phone back on track...
Cheers, meshua
After flashing boot.img it worked, thank you both!

where do i type flashboot flash system system.img
??????
i am kind of confused.......
Hi kill3rlook5,
To use "fastboot", you need
the Android Debug Bridge (ADB) installed on your computer. It's part of the Android SDK which you can download here: developer.android.com/sdk/index.html. Choose your platform first, then download and install this kit.
a proper USB Driver that makes your phone talk with your computer by using adb or fastboot commands. If you can't find a driver which fits your phone, please search this forum, or use google to get a version that does.
Once both are installed, open a console on your computer (Windows: run >> cmd.exe), go to the folder that contains the fastboot.exe file, and run the command from within this console window. I hope that will distract you from your current confusion?
Cheers, meshua.
Would nis-gens method be putting it back entirely to stock, as it was before flashing any custom ROMs? I had Alquez's CM7 port, but decided to come back to the 2.3.5 stock build for some issues I need to clarify, and I'd like it back entirely at stock for testing purposes.
Really should have backed it up via CWM, but... I forgot. xD
Hey everyone,
Like the title says, how do I flash stock recovery? Right now I have TWRP (?) and my device is rooted, but I want the stock recovery back and keep root. Please explain and provide a download if required.
Thanks in advance XDA!
If you flashed TWRP manually just repeat the process but use a stock recovery image instead of the twrp image. If you used a one click root tool I suggest you read some of the sticky threads and tutorials to learn how to flash things manually so you can change whatever you want in the future. There are one click restore methods too if you look around for them.

I tried a few times but when booting into recovery it still gets me to TWRP. I probably did something wrong somewhere. It's late so I'll try again tomorrow. This is my first nexus device and the reason I want stock recovery is so I can still receive over the air updates while being rooted. If I want over the air updates, that is the way to go right?

you might have unlocked bootloader with unofficial method. nothing to worry about its just a warning devices are far more insecure. if you are worried about privacy things. believe there is nothing like secure when using digital devices. and there is not even single service provider which do not collect data. hence enjoy your unlocked device and play around

This is a basic guide to flash a rom via recovery in Mi A3 as title says.
Is created to help all those that want but can't.
Please read before act, and if you don't understand....well read again.
Mi A3 is a device with treble support, and while is not difficult to flash a rom,is a little bit tricky process.
So here are the detailed steps to do achieve that.
First things first, you've got to have your bootloader unlocked. Follow below steps to do that:
-Enable developer options by going to settings/about phone and clicking 5 times on build number.
Inside developer options:
-Find and enable OEM unlocking.
-Find and enable USB debugging.
In adb tools type:
-
Code:
adb devices
reboot to bootloader.
-
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
Unlock bootloader(you will lose all your data).
Code:
fastboot flashing unlock
When the device reboot, boot once again in fastboot by powering off then power on while pressing vol down button.
Type command to full unlock bootloader.
Code:
fastboot flashing unlock_critical
Proceed to recovery flash
Notice that you've got to have all files ready, either inside external sd or in your pc. All files are at the end of this thread as links or attachments.
Also i'm suggesting OrangeFox recovery for now because is the most stable.
-First you following the orangefox recovery installation guide:
- Download the OrangeFox zip file from here or the link at the end and copy it to your device (internal or external storage)
- Extract the recovery.img from the zip and store it, on the folder where you have adb and fastboot files, on your PC
- Open a cmd line and execute these commands (being on that folder, of course):
-
Code:
adb devices
(to make sure your device is detected)
-
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
(to reboot into fastboot mode)
-
Code:
fastboot getvar current-slot
(to check what's your current active slot)
-
Code:
fastboot set_active b
(if your active slot was a, if it was b then change it to a)
-
Code:
fastboot erase boot
-
Code:
fastboot flash boot recovery.img [b](OR WHATEVER NAME YOUR RECOVERY HAVE)[/b]
-
Code:
fastboot reboot
(NOTE : Before hitting "Enter", long press Vol + on your device until you see the Android One logo.
-->> By doing this your device will be forced to boot into Recovery and not into System <<--
- Install the OrangeFox zip (always install the latest build available and always keep a copy of recovery zip file in your external sd)
- Change slot to the one that was active on the beginning of these steps and reboot to Recovery (just to make sure that the slot, in fact, was changed)
After orangefox recovery is installed, you are ready to flash your rom.
You can move your rom files inside your external or internal memory(prefer external to avoid deleting them accidentally).
To do that you can either do it before the whole procedure, or after the recovery installation since you have mtp and adb available.
Copy them drag them or push them via adb(i'm not going to extend the adb push command here)
Now the flashing steps:
-Go to partition manager inside orangefox recovery and select data/format data(red button) and press format.Type YES.
-Go back and find the rom file inside your target directory(internal or external).
-Select the rom file and flash it.
-DO NOT REBOOT.
-Go back where you have the orangefox zip file, select it and flash it.
-Leave the device as is because after the installation it will reboot itself to recovery once again.
-Once the recovery starts again go to the target folder that you have the remaining files.
-Flash magiskV20.zip (if you want your device to be rooted).
-Flash Gapps if there are any or skip this step if your ROM provider have them included.
-Flash patchnofde10 zip to avoid data encryption(if you don't do that the rom will NOT boot).
-Reboot to system and enjoy.
All files are available to the links below.
Patchnofde file is attached to this post.

Okay I got it to boot to Havoc OS but my wifi and gsm calls stopped working. Also videos were flashing during playback. I guess I was doing something wrong during the whole flashing process and the device ended up without the correct firmware.
I have reverted back to stock using one of the fastboot ROM flashing scripts and everything is fine, though I would like to go Android 10 without GAPPS if possible.
Thank you very much for the guide. Do you recommend any backup with orange box? If I want to revert to stock rom, do I need to know something?

Same as above.
If you don't flash patch for the encryption, you ll end up to recovery again. Also I recommend to read carefully the steps with the recovery flashing. You have to be sure that the slot is what it was at the beginning.
A out the Android backup, yes. You can take and restore backups freely.

I also flashed the nofde patch. The phones boots normaly but i have no access to internal storage. All the folders have random numbers and letters. Any ideas?
Hello guys!
I tried to install magisk so I got a bootloop
Someone told me that i should relock and unlock the bootloader again
Now I have locked bootloader, stock recovery and dont have fastboot
3 free versions of MSM just give me "sahara communication failed" error
Help me please!
try enter to fastboot powering on your phone with vol+ and pwr key, unlock your bootloader, flash vbmeta.img:
fastboot flashing unlock
fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
and then try enter to your system.
If that not works, try do an full recover with the stock recovery first and repeat the first method.
If that not works, try download your firmware in https://realmefirmware.com/realme-firmware-update/
and in the fastboot menu try fastboot all extracted partitions using mct_ofp_extractor: https://www.google.com/search?q=mct_ofp_extractor.exe
good luck!

maybe you should restore to stock ROM first with stock recovery?
if that not work for you, you can try use PC flash tool like this: https://download.c.realme.com/flash/Flash_tool/realme_Flash_Tool_V2.zip and use the ofp file as you can download from here: https://realmefirmware.com/realme-firmware-update/
Enter fastboot mode - Shutdown phone, then long press the power & volume down key simultaneous to enter the fastboot mode interface
good luck!

I just found this download point for rmx3366, I cant verify if this file can be use for your phone: https://support.halabtech.com/index.php?a=downloads&b=folder&id=139179
Maybe once you got the right ofp file, you can just use the official Realmen Flash Tool?
For the third method:
Once you got the right ofp file for your phone, just open the extractor and extract ever partition from ofp file you found, and try flash them one by one using fastboot tool, commands are like: fastboot flash *partition* *.img file* with your phone in Fastboot Mode.
That's all I can tell you because I realize that your don't have my phone model: rmx3363.
Goog luck.
