Galaxy Watch 4: TUR vs MEA - Samsung Galaxy Watch

Hi all
I'll be buying a Galaxy watch 4 and I have an option of getting one from Turkey (TUR) or UAE (MEA). What difference should I expect between the two in terms of updates or features?
The cost is the same for both.
Which one to go for and why? Thanks!

[Q] Buying from Germany

I noticed that the price of the note 2 in Germany is cheaper, than in the UK.
Just wondering if there is any downside about buying one from Germany?
I assume I'll be able to get the phone configured into English.
Would I be able to flash UK firmware on to it, or wouldn't it matter?
I'd only get the n7100 as I don't care about lte just yet.
thanks.
Yes of course the european version of the phone is the same, you will just have to chose English when you first turn on the phone.

It might be cheaper, but you might need to pay import tax when it arrives, unless you're planning a physical visit.

From a call which I had with a Samsung UK official Tier 2 rep on Friday afternoon (3.22pm London), the region lock is planned to be in the KitKat build for all SGS3, SGS4, Note II and Note 3 (both new and existing versions to extent they are upgraded to KitKat stock).
As there seem to be inconsistent statements being made by Samsung as to the practical application of the current form of the region lock in the European region and the US region, I suspect you will end up being guided by how gentle or aggressive an approach the region lock in JB is found to take as details come out in the next week or two and then gauging whether to upgrade to KitKat. In any event, I guess the manner of implementation will be sufficiently well understood by the time of KitKat to work around it, should the regional lock turn out to be any more than a storm in a teacup.

N930X - Is this an actual regional variant of Note 7 or used only for display models?

I'm currently browsing in Qatar and keep seeing N930X as the model number for the displayed Note 7s in various different shops - Is this the Middle-East regional variant or is the "X" part of model number just used for display handsets??
What model number does your Note 7 have if you have purchased it in the Middle-East? Is it Dual-SIM??
dubai - n930fd
I live in mexico, and the displayed units have that 930x too, the model sold here is 930F, so, I think that the "X" indicates a demo unit
Philippines, X is also the display unit and FD is sold here.
Finland, N930X is the unit in the stores and N930F being sold.
Thanks people - so to confirm, N930X = a demo unit model number.
I managed to check the retail box today (...should have done it before posting this thread, duh!) - I can confirm that in Qatar it is N930FD (dual-SIM).
Now to decide if I should go for it or still stick to my Note5 for now in the unlikely hope of custom ROMs to extend its appeal-life......
man, if you found some help, do not forget the thanks button
I need help putting another n930 variant on n930x

Only way to make it work like a phone is to change the mainboard. The X models are demo unit with all the functions except cellular.

Buying a Galaxy Watch in Korea?

Hi,
I'm planning to buy a Galaxy Watch in Korea, to use in France, because I'll have the opportunity to buy it for much cheaper over there.
I've read in forums about older Samsung watches that Samsung Pay might be region-locked. Is it true for the Galaxy Watch too? Is there a way to hack it to change the region, and change a Korean watch to a European one?
I think it is eloisant. I have a chinese version bought from Todydeals online and samsung pay is missing. When I press in the back button nothing happens and in settings is says there is no payment softwear installed. Please could someone give me instructions for how to change it to UK version if this is the fix. Cheers
no samsung pay on US version
i have model SM-R820 and haven't been able to find the samsung pay app. I have tried a few things, like updating OS, resetting the phone, but no luck getting app on my Galaxy Active 2 watch. Any ideas?

Question New International Version - S901E

For the first time here in Brazil (and a few other countries), Samsung decided to sell the Snapdragon version of Galaxy S series, model S901E. S901B is equipped with Exynos.
Samsung always delays updates for Brazil, sometimes for months. Now with this international Snapdragon version, what csc is the best for updates and features?
Maybe S9010_TGY(HK) is a better option.

You can't install S9010 Chinese firmware on International S901E, otherwise you'll brick your phone.
Answering my own question, I'm using INS. Seems to be the best choice, since India is one of the most important market to Samsung.
