Hi. Those versions are only available through the updater app if you have China dev or global dev ROM installed. Your device will come with global stable probably and to experience miui 9 and android 7 you will have to flash twrp and flash the dev ROM or use MiFlash with the fastboot method.

Hi! Don't know what version they installed. I bought this one: https://www.gearbest.com/cell-phone...il_sys&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=shipping
One more question: it comes with bootloader unlocked? Anyway there's tutorial to follow everywhere =)

If it's from gearbest i think it will come with global stable.
About the unlocked bootloader , i don't think so , but there are tutorials to flash roms without unlocking the bootloader if you wanna hurry flashing . The best is to unlock it officially and proceed after with flashing.
MIUI 9 - v7.10.19 - China Developer Rom .. That's the final rom they have released (until now) that I downloaded..
Probably it comes with GApps and Chinese 'bloatware' (I would throw them away with Titanium backup, no problem).
Does this have some problems?? Anyone installed this specific version yet?

Anyone?

Hi! If you refer to the post above you , yea , i've tested the china developer rom. It does not have gapps and has chinese xiaomi apps that can be uninstalled.
If you guys want to try the china developer rom , you can download the latest version from xiaomi.eu , it's based on it and has gapps. Also , it is optimised for a smoother experience and no bloatware.
The Kernel Sources have been released for Realme 3, but there are some dependency issues in the official source.
Please use the modified makefile for compilation, there won't be any compilation error. The output kernel file will be Image.gz-dtb file.

This should work for p60 also, because ozip/ota file is same for all realme 3 variants
you can see the ozip file here:
https://www.realme.com/in/support/software-update
PS: ozip file contains only one boot.img, so same boot.img for all realme 3 variants
Does realme 3 has a custom rom? and even TWRP ?. Developers, please!, develop the rom for this device.

I tried developing twrp for this phone, but each time it causes hard brick.
I think there won't be much development for this phone unless there is a way to recover from hard brick
see this:

It is so terrible. A device can't without a custom rom. Will have any hope if Realme change from ColorOs to RealmeOS? I wish Realme 3 will be supported better in the future.

I think there will not be any development so soon since the kernel resources were not fully released. Atm, I will wait for unlocking bootloader and global rom.

It's a Mediatek phone, so don't expect any custom ROMs.
Take a look back at the Xiaomi phones released with Mediatek chips and see how little support from developers it got

Exactly. The only fully working custom is Xiaomi.eu which is based on stock firmware with a few tweaks.
Redmi Note 4 MTK was released with Android 6 (Marshmallow) and never received a working Android 7 (Nougat).
Redmi Note 4 Snapdragon was also released with Android 6 and received Android 7 (Nougat), Android 8 (Oreo), Android 9 (Pie) and there is already an Android Q beta version released.
The choice is simply: If you want a custom ROM don't buy Mediatek

Let's wait, we never know! The (partial) source code release is a step forward. I think that the "missing" code parts have with the LCD to do and not with the chip anyway.

There are many differences :
- Xiaomi never released Kernel sources on Note 4 (MTK), you can find Note 2 and 3's on their GitHub (very tardily released), but not Note 4's...they already release Note 8 Pro's
- Xiaomi didn't sell Note 4 in western countries...now they officially sell many devices in Europe.
- most western users bought SD625 version instead...MTK community wasn't that big
Sources are there, now Mediatek need a "best seller"...unless that, custom rom won't exist
In past, a team succeed in doing rom for several Mediatek's devices (M.A.D. Team)

Mediatek still isn't popular with developers and I wouldn't expect custom ROM. Snapdragon is always the safer bet

I'm also thinking the same thing... I'll get it tomorrow and I'm already looking for a guide to root it
Plz redirect if you find anything about rooting or any other topic, thank you
So, any luck ?
Probably because it's a new phone from a less than 2 year old unpopular company, who is slow to release kernel of its devices.
I too have a realme xt and I'm dying to unlock it and try some custom Roms.
Can we create a buzz in the tech community to force them to release kernel of this mid ranger beast ASAP...?

Relax guys. Realme X yet to get an official rom support. Also all the unofficial roms for it were recently released, after the company shipped free devices to few developers. Talking about xt it ll take around 2 months to see some development that too unofficial ones. Chillax.
Patience is the key to virtue.
