I've been seaching about ROMs to install on my Poco F3 and someday came across Miku UI.
However, I've been searching to find other info(ota support, stability, hdr10 support etc)and I barely found any.
So my question is, how does Miku UI stack up to other AOSP/MIUI ROMs?
PS: If possible (again, IF possible) please provide a guide on how to actually flash Miku UI

I know many people would enjoy this ROM, it's kind of like MIUI. The engineering rom was just recently released for the Meizu M9.
It can be downloaded here - http://www.hotfile.com/dl/85889655/e781655/update.zip.html
I was hoping someone could try and port this, as i dont have he knowledge. It would definitely be a top ROM.
Here's the Engadget article which shows features and stuff

link is dead..
So,
What steps are undertaken for those looking to produce custom content for android (more specific ICS/JB roms, perhaps CM also)
I have made really old roms for old phones like the moto v3x etc. where you kinda just set your phone up in such a way then run a backup and shared the backup...
I would be interested in attempting something for the note 2, but in terms of programming, it would be very little. more like collecting the best bits and setting up the customization in such a way that I see to be appropriate for the rom...is it possible to get software where u can just cook up your own custom roms based on bits and bobs? like the best of collections. ?

The title say it all. This device needs some attention. We're stuck on kitkat with no possibility to get a higher android version. We'd really love to see a new rom for our device with a decent android version. I want newer Android version mainly because I want to be able to use magisk. And few other applications that are only available on 5+. I'm sure everyone has a reason. So please, any developer interested in this?
Hey,
I found android 7.1.2 for the sm-t113 and sm-t116 and nu editions. Here it is.
This is the video:
This is the fourm: https://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...
And try to use this: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zdSrpzAvenQJCK1EPxkCuG4jEjpEoiWR/view
Or use Open Gapps(7.1/arm/pico): https://opengapps.org/
How come it's so smooth on his device? Its laggy and sh.t in my device. It looks like there is no gpu acceleration not even transparency for stuff like satus bar. Once u pull it down its black like what
My model is same as his sm-t113
What versions of flash roms do you think that are the best to use with the redmi 7?
and what do you think that is essential to have in these versions,or rooted smartphones in general?(that includes apps that can be installed too)
I found derpfest. It is light and fast. I do not need another. On xda, there are so few firmwares. At 4pda you can see about 15 different rom's, but they(site) for russian's.
If you need any rom's from 4pda, then write to me at pm, I will share to mega.nz
It seems to me that rom's should already have installed: normal browser (google, edge or others), google cam. I mean what everyone needs
which rom do you guys recommend to flash on my poco f3? I just saw that arrowos's thread(https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rom-11-0-0-alioth-aliothin-arrowos-11-0-official-closed.4279481/) was closed. does that mean no more update? how stable is it?
what i look for in a custom rom
what will i lose on my official miui rom?
No no, it's just the Android 11 version of ArrowOS. That's done already. We are on Android 12 now.
And yeah ArrowOS is a really nice Vanilla Android ROM, it's very stable and also gets updates frequently. I also like Evolution X. It's like ArrowOS, also gets frequent updates, but also has a Custom Kernel and additional settings added.
If you want a Pixel ROM with Monet Colour Settings and adaptive icons and other additional settings (that are only found on Pixel), Pixel Experience Plus may be good. Although I don't remember how my experience was with that exactly.
What you'll lose, compared to MIUI? Well, MIUI Camera (you'll use Gcam instead) and MIUI's amazing Dolby Atmos, and MEMC (The Video Smoothing Feature), and MIUI's Theming (Font-Selection in particular, which is great)
