Question How to manually update firmware of oneplus 9 pro (T-mobile) - OnePlus 9 Pro

Dears,
I have OnePlus 9 pro T-Mobile (LE2127) on 11.2.1.1
I want to update the firmware using local upgrade option (but it does not have it) because when I try using OTA option, it says that it has the latest firmware?
Please help me update my firmware as I looked everywhere but cannot find the way.

you cant tmo uses Google ota servers
unlock bootloader flash Global to get that

Use oxygen updater app in play store. Cannot take OTA if bootloader unlocked. You need full ROM. Happy modding!

Question Does anyone know of a guide for converting oneplus 9 pro from T-Mobile to global vatiant?

I cannot find anything clear enough to take the risk on without a first handers confirmation or lead. I'm already rooted but, the apps I want to use most are not compatible with my version.
Use TMO to EU MSM and then download the update or use oxygen updater for global and flash that via local upgrade. You should then be on 11.2.8.8 global if you use that update.
You'll also need to flash your TMO modem or you won't have service. You'll need to do that after every OTA.
If you go to the main op9p forum and look at the how to section you should find everything you need. The TMO to EU MSM tool, the repo of updates, and the how to backup your TMO modem.
Thanks much! I appreciate the information.

Question Install OOS 11.2.9.9 OTA via VPN

Hi,
Last update with oxygen updater made my phone bootloop, so I would like to install the update by official OTA.
Do you know in which country the OTA is out? I would like to install it with a VPN connection.
Thanx
Available for France
It's available for United States
Thanks for your answer. It doesn't work with a VPN connection
Just install oxygen updater from play store. Not official, but works fine.
Available from UK
It doesn't work with Nordvpn...
Which country are you in, what device model ( region Etc ) do you have and is it stock? If not can you list out the current mods that are in place?
Or depending on your scenario, there is this:
[OnePlus 9 Pro][ROM][OTA][Oxygen OS] Repo of Oxygen OS Builds
As OnePlus doesn't always provide download links for all of their OxygenOS ROMs & OTA update zips, we've created an index to put the links in one post so that they're easy to find. Note: This is not a support thread for issues you may have with...

As karimrim is also from France ( from the earlier post in this thread ), it could be that at some point the update will arrive OTA without the need to use a VPN. Hopefully on the info you provided, someone more knowledgeable will be able to help!

Question From EU OOS12 to Global OOS12

I am on c48 EU rom how to flash the global Rom
My device is LE2123 non rooted
Just download the stable full update via Oxygen Updater and install it. Works fine. Keep in mind to avoid updating to India version from eu/global. It is not stable.
I, and several others, who have EU (LE2123) versions had updated to the India version C60, however, we are not able to update (OTA) to C61.
Previously, on OnePlus phones when flashing other firmwares from other regions you would still be able to continue getting updates for that region. But with these latest OOS12 firmwares that might not be the case. So keep this in mind before changing regions.
Mine eu on c60 in worked like crap. Camera issues, overheating, bloatware installed... That was not a good move. Had to revert back to Oxygen 11 and move updates to global.
Try this : downgrade to region specific Android 11 ( IN/NA/EU ) and after that you will recieve ota. I personally downgraded to 11 ( GLOBAL ) ( i hasve eu version ) and i recieved c61 OTA.
Yep, did the same. C6Q global runns pretty good (not as good as Oxygen 11, I hate new UI, but it's quite good).
If I downgrade, I lose my data and my banking apps are running. Can't I download the full zip from global and import it via local update when its work lose my data ?

Thanks for the feedback. Few questions if you don't mind:
You have EU model (LE2123) and have successfully update C61 global firmware (LE2125)?
Did you flash the C61 global OTA update manually? I mean by downloading the OTA zip and flash it using local update? Or did it update by checking new updates using the normal way?
I understand that you switched to global using the OOS11 downgrade zip, so you had global firmware since OOS11 then upgraded to OOS12 (still global), does the about device Model show as LE2123 or LE2125?
1. Yes
2. No, did it via incremental update using system update app. First I downgraded using msm tool to global Oxygen 11, then followed all updates as far as cyq using system update app. Then I performed full wipe just to be sure all updates went well.
3. It still shows as 2123. No issues anyway (except red cable program from OnePlus - when I try to connect my device it shows wrong area, but I don't care ).

Updated using System update app, you mean the stock/standard update method (Settings>About device)?
Yes.

yes, I saw some information but since I came from nowhere I don't know about almost everything, I've barely been with him for several days. I know that before doing a factory reset with msm tool I was on build c19, tmobile and oneplus have suspended the updates?

I don't want to modify the phone, I'm not interested in doing crossflash if I have to modify it, but if I can use it normally without making modifications, yes, I'm going to do it. Do I need to modify something or do I just install the rom as if it were the one from tmobile?
Hey now i'm not able to freeze some apps you can freeze like youtube, Chrome for example. Freeze button greyed out

What ? Just download the 11.2.10.10 and local upgrade.
After the local upgrade to 11.2.10.10 you'll be on a global firmware so it will automaticly ask you to upgrade to OxygenOS 12

Question How to convert LE2111 OP9 phone to EU ROM?

[Posting here since this forum seem a bit more active than OP9 forum.]
Hi guy. What are the steps I can follow to convert my Indian(LE2111) OP9 with Indian Oxygen OS to EU variant?
Wanted to get away from the bloatware in Indian ROM & EU variant seems to support dual SIM. Also want the US version of Gpay, etc.
I downloaded Oxygen Updater , changed device to OP9(EU) & downloaded the full OTA ROM. When I try to "Local Install " on Settings page it says "verification failed".
I also downloaded the LocalUpdater apk, which also fails.
I haven't unlocked the bootloader or rooted the device
What steps am I missing?
I have the same needs but for my OnePlus 9 Pro.
Try to follow steps I did: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...-chinese-variant-le2120.4269767/post-87447209

Thanks for responding. It's seeming like the process has changed a lot since the last time I flashed ROMs back in OnePlus One days. lol
I'm currently on LE2111(Indian ROM) C60 on Indian variant OP9(dual sim, no wireless charging). I want to move over to EU ROM.
So are the steps:
1. Downgrade to android 11 using MSM Indian tool.
2. Flash android 11 using MSM EU tool
3. Update from OTA/Oxygen Updater.
??

Or you could do it in simpler way: after downgrading to A11 with MSM Indian tool use Oxygen Updater and select EU device, in the app’s settings: “Stable (full)” update method and enable advanced mode.
This will let you download the latest EU full ZIP, which you can install via the system’s built-in “local install” feature or the separate local upgrade APK https://oxygenos.oneplus.net/OPLocalUpdate_For_Android12.apk

Tried it. Got to A11 using Indian MSM. The local upgrade option still fails with the EU full zip saying "System update installation failed"

Then go with your bullets 1. - 3.
I did that and it worked.
I have proposed a modification based on the input I've got from someone else but apparently it doesn't work.
