About Project:
Cardinal-AOSP is a Custom ROM which was initially based on AOSPB, then we changed our mind and rebased it to AOSP-RRO, to get better compatibility with most of the devices. And now we are based on AOSP on oreo. The main aim of this ROM is to bring stock AOSP experience as much as possible while maintaining performance, smoothness and good battery backup. I hope that you'll all love this project, and help us, shape it even more better. Meanwhile, all of our sources are publicly available on our Github. We also do own a Google+ Community, where you can.... uhm... you know, do what all others do at forums and communities! Hope you enjoy your stay and like our work on Cardinal-AOSP.

i tried it and here is what have to say:
1. boot up is pretty fast
2. FP is preety fast too. (i found DU's FP the fastest)
3. there's option to unlock using only FP after boot up. that's good.
4. i didn't find any option to enable navigation bar.
5. it is pretty smooth.
6. once i try to access recent apps by swiping right the screen flickered/glitched. then after a while screen went blank and then i had to force restart. i tried again to launch the recent apps and same happened.
7. seems like camera2 api hasnt been implemented. the GCam crashes.
8. i hadn't flashed gapps. may be the above mentioned problems are due to that. i didn't check flashing gapps.
9. magisk's version used : 14.4

Wow 10th Oreo ROM already for Z2 plus. Development is in full swing. I think no other device has as many oreo builds as z2 plus have.

my english is poor...sorry!!
Most of the translation is correct except for the camera section,But in English I can not express what I mean,really sorry!
Anyway, it's the camera. The photos that come out of it are different from the images before the camera.
In the end, I still like your ROM

OK so I got this mi note 2 in December 2017 an have been looking for a good custom ROM for it ever since I unlocked its bootloader.
This ROM:-
Has zero slow down (most ROMs for this cell do usually in less than 2 days)
It's compatible with my main 2 enhancement softwares ssd boost an Roehsoft ram expander (even though it is only compatible up to Nougat)
Is compatible with android 8 google camera (5.1 version)
Works perfectly with magisk
Two thumbs up Psy-Man. I think you finally made a ROM that I find very versatile an outperforms MIUI.
Finally my ROM search is over.
I cannot figure screenshot but just use an app.
Thank you very VERY much.
This is a very stable consistent ROM an actually is so stable that it shows up weaknesses in applications.
Very well done (that's high praise from me because I am very fussy with ROMs)

Bug reporting:
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

No, the thread says Redmi Note 8 aka "ginkgo", if you flash it on Redmi Note 8T, you'll loose NFC stuff.

It's the same for me although I have V11.0.3.0 and V11.0.4.0 firmware.
Only that my redmi note 8 is GINKGO !!!

Could you please report back if you try this rom with MicroG? I would like to test it but due to an enormous amount of testing (other roms, with/out MicroG) I would like to be sure it's working ;-)

Thank you for the quick response. I have followed the above steps and now the safety net test has passed now. I still see the device is not certified under PlayStore app. I'm using the latest POSP ROM on my Oneplus 5 device along with NikGApps stock edition.
Edit:
Repeated the entire steps once again, Now the device is certified in Play store app.

New build is up do try it
We have shifted to GitHub releases from now on from SourceForge

I feel the touch responsiveness is less sensitive. Any suggestions?

But, when I switch to another rom except from this it just stuck on recovery bootloop.
Formats the data, clear system,data etc no luck
