I have a question, i hope someone can answer it :
So i think my mi max hydrogen motherboard got damaged probably water damage, anyway, i'm thinking about getting motherboard replacement. i found motherboard for mi max helium (4G ram - 128G) and i was thinking would it work ? i mean, replace my mi max hydrogen motherboard with helium motherboard ? or not ?

Hi there. I came across the opportunity of buying a brand new Xiaomi Mi5 64GB for a very low price (195€). I'm tempted, because it has a much better camera than my Mi Max and I value that. It looks better as well, and has a better SoC (not much difference IRL though). On the other hand, I love phablets and the 6.44" screen is the very reason I bought the Mi Max.
Taking in account that I would pay nothing (I can sell my Mi Max for the same price I'd buy the Mi5), what do you think? Would you trade the Mi Max for a Mi5 64GB?
No. Working a lot on the move and the big 6.44" is something I never want miss.

Anyone know where I can still buy the original Mi Max (not version 2 or 3) from a trusted seller? I can only find them in eBay from a seller in HK but now sure if they are selling genuine or fake Mi Max. Price seems to good to be true (around USD$180 for 3GB/64GB).

Good point, but I'm thinking the seller may be trying to liquidate inventory of fake Mi Max. Has there been any reports of fake Mi Max ever since the genuine version was released in 2016?
Would you think the Mi Max 2 would be better than Mi Max? Reason I'm opting for the original version is that there's an official Lineage OS 15.1 available already plus the hardware specs are a bit better.

No fake Mi Maxes were ever reported.
Where did you see original Mi Max official Lineage OS 15.1 available!? Official Mi Max development is dead!

Does anyone know how to inform if putting the motherboard of the "mi 11 lite 5g" in the "mi 11 lite 5g NE" would it work? because I didn't find the mother board of the "NE" only the one of the mi 11 lite 5g normal! Are the components compatible? like screen, battery, cameras?
There's someone here who reported that the NE motherboard worked on his 5g phone. I assume the opposite would work but I haven't heard about it before.
